I contacted Yardi on the morning of September 14th via email and fax with the completed dispute formOnce they were notified by Revdex.com of a complaint, they contacted me and removed all and inaccurate information that they had on meI believe they need to update their records and use the correct information because they could really defame a person's information based off of the old, negative reports they gather records from Regards, [redacted] ***

RentGrow Incdba YardiResident Screening (YRS) prepares tenant screening reports (TSRs), whichcontain background information about individuals who have applied to rent anapartment from a property manager or property owner (our customers) YRSdoes not own or manage any properties and does not itself make any rentaldecisions; rather, our customers use the information in the TSR, among otherthings, to make informed decisions about whether a tenant applicant isqualified for a particular apartment or property Each TSR has a section forcredit history information, a section for information about certain civilrecords (which are non-criminal in nature), and a section for criminal recordinformation It is perfectly for a TSR to contain detailedinformation in one section but not in others—for example, a TSR might containdetailed credit history information, no civil information, but some criminalhistory information YRS prepares each TSR in accordance with the [redacted] ***) YRS followsdetailed procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the informationcontained in each TSR From time to time, however,information furnished to YRS and included in a TSR may be inaccurate orincomplete When this happens, consumers can dispute the inaccurate orincomplete information, and YRS follows specific, detailed procedures requiredby the FCRA and either investigate the dispute and/or forward the dispute tothe source that provided the information to YRS, depending on thecircumstances The FCRA further protects consumers by requiring disputeinvestigations to be completed within daysIn the case of Ms***, YRSprepared her TSR on April 18, Certain sections of the TSR had noresults, and other sections did have results Again, this is not unusualor inconsistent because the different categories of information (credithistory, criminal records, and non-criminal records) are very differentIn any event, the TSR about Ms [redacted] contained her credit history, returned noresults in one category, but did contain a result in the other categoryMs [redacted] disputed that resultMs [redacted] emailed YRS onMonday, April 20, 2015, to initiate her dispute YRS followed itsdetailed procedures and in this case both forwarded her dispute forinvestigation to the source that provided the information to YRS, and initiatedits own investigation into the accuracy of the record Four days later,on April 23, 2015, YRS completed its own investigation, deleted the disputedrecord from the TSR, notified Ms [redacted] and the property where she applied thatthe record had been removed, and provided Ms [redacted] and the property with a revisedTSR YRS Consumer Relationsrepresentatives can be reached by telephone at ###-###-#### Monday throughFriday from 10:AM to 3:PM Eastern Time or by email at [redacted]

I did receive an updated report. It is my understanding the apartment complex has not received this updated report yet. They need to hear from Rent Grow. Also I paid for the criminal history and I have not received a copy of the report that was first given to the apartment complex. There are errors and I want to get them corrected. Yardi Resident Screening (“YRS”) prepares tenant screening reports based on information obtained from various consumer reporting agencies (“CRAs”) but does not maintain databases containing consumer information In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable regulations (the “FCRA”), YRS strives to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the consumer information contained in each tenant screening report If a tenant applicant believes any information reported by YRS is inaccurate or incomplete, he or she can dispute the information directly with YRS, which works diligently to correct inaccurate or incomplete information

Horrible experience.
This company issued an incorrect report - I was denied for an apartment - and it takes 30 days to rectify it.
Seriously? they do not answer any emails.
and over the phone they just tell you to wait...

I applied to lease a house and I was shocked when within hours I received an email declining my application. I requested a copy of my report, which took several days to receive. In the meantime, I requested the same information through a 3rd party vendor. I received their report within hours, identified the information that was erroneously reported, and submitted the formal dispute. Within 24 hours I received acknowledgement that this information was agreed to be false and in error placed on my report. After receiving RentGrow's report, I immediately submitted my dispute and heard NOTHING. I then called RentGrow and was provided NO customer service. I was told I would have to wait up to 5 weeks to hear something. I am supposed to be moving into my new home, out of state in 5 weeks! HELP!

[My complaint is not about the result of your assessment of my background, but about your method of working on it that caused and will continue to cause problems to many people as applicantsMy question is how you could identify me with a murderer sentenced to years in prison for a crime committed in who had quite different height from mine, and how could a person with almost perfect credit score and clean criminal history be identified with a criminal who could be still held in prison at this timeYour bad service has insulted me, but you do not feel a need to apologize as well as how you will fix it in the future?]

RentGrow does not charge application fees of any kind, does not manage any rental properties, does not approve or deny any rental applications, and does not set the eligibility criteria for any rental property All applications fees (if any) are charged, all eligibility criteria are set, and all rental decisions are made by the property owner or management company where an applicant applies. Once the complaint was filed, they immediately contacted me to fix their errorsI just wish they used up-to-date info in the very beginning
