Movers were two hours lateOver $5,of furniture damaged and they offered me a measly $132!!! Unacceptable!!! I waited for movers for over two hoursReceptionist got an attitude with me and told me I would be charged if I canceled even though I was still waiting and she couldn't get in touch with movers! Then they get there and damage over $5,worth of furnitureI filed a claim in July and am just now getting a response that I will be receiving a measly $Unacceptable!!!! I can't even get one of the pieces you damaged fixed with that! I'm pissed and if I have to take them to court I will surely do it and have no problem doing itEasy or hard way I will get what is owed to meI see many other complaints on this company saying the same thingUnprofessional and I will never use or recommend them at allFix it!!! We are military and We Pack out of Florida hired Rolls Vanlines to complete our move Many expensive items were damaged and we only received $ June of we completed a miitary move and our furniture was delviered by Rolls Vanlines who were hired by We Pack out of Florida When our furniture arrived, we were highly disappointed as our new flat screened televisons were broken, custom head board dirty with tire marks, box spring splintered with wood chips and smashed, cherry wood dresser scuffed, washer/dryer dented and scraped, picture busted and not to mention several smaller damaged items that we were ok with not claiming Clearly, these items were not wrapped or packed properly We submitted our claim along with photos as proof and waited several months to hear back Finally, we were told that the contract stated that we will only be reimbursed based on the weight of those items combined Therefore, using their formula, we recieved $and were left with dealing wit

Rolls Van Lines [redacted] Suite # A Baltimore, MD XXXXX RollsVanLines.com Do NOT use this company They were my worst nightmare When the movers arrived, two men barely spoke EnglishThey tried to force me to sign blank forms that they could fill in later with additional costs, for example boxes, tape, etcand when I filled in all the blanks with Zeros and the total additional cost with zero, then signed the form They got rude and hostile Next, they tried to get me to sign another form with the start time on it blank I established a start time with them, filled this in and signed the form I was then told the move would DEFINITELY take more than the hours I was quoted I told them I had moved all of the exact same items many times and it never took more than hours They said, we will see They began loading but refused to move boxes they considered too small, or not labeled as moving boxes (from Home Depot) The truck was loaded within an hour minutes The drive from the pick up location to the drop off location is minutes When they had still not arrived after minutes, I called and they told me they were taking a break to buy water and would be there in minutes minutes later I called again and they refused to answer I informed them via voicemail that if they did not respond or arrived within minutes I was calling the police I then called the office and spoke with Paul I was told he would contact the crew and call me backminutes later, he called to say they would be there in five minutes and to not call the police I told him I was not paying for the time they were taking a breakThat they were purposely trying to prolong the assignment because they were paid $per hour after the hour quote He said that was fine The truck finally arrives after an hour They same man who tried to force me to sign blank forms, now is trying to force me to pay for hours or they will not unload the truck I told him I was not paying more than the hour quote and I called the POLICE Thankfully, they had opened the back of the truck thinking they could bully me but when they tried to leave with my stuff, I hopped on the back and would not allow them to close the rear door The police arrived, stayed while another manager Ali was called and informed them to unload and deliver my goods They just threw my stuff in anywhere did not reassemble any furniture were rude, threatening and hostile the entire time When I called Ali to complain, he stated that I was getting my stuff and if I wanted it reassembled, I would have to pay extra This company is out to RIP YOU OF! We moved from overseas on 7/All items were left in a storage packaged in Virginia from December to July The estimate for the moving to Florida received was $considering the cubic feet calculated by the time of the inventoryWe ended up being charged $which included for exact day delivery because the items where promised for exact delivery on 7/and on the 2th we got the news they didn't have an exact day and if we wanted for the 9th we had to pay extra moneyIt supposed to be like that because the truck will carry only our itemsWe paid and the move never got here on the 9th as promised, reason why we disputed that amount to the credit card that was chargedThe lady who handled all this situation was extremely rude but she reassured we will have our items on that date, reason why we decided to go ahead and pay,

When I started getting a quote from different movers, this company responded the most promptly, which was very impressive, and that was one reason why I ended up choosing it over others, as their price was not the lowest
The first problem is about the price Starting from the beginning, I emailed them an excel file I created, with every single item I included in my shipment I was in the process of packing when I got a quote from them, and I sent them what I had at that moment, including pictures of various items The excel file included the measurement of every item I included and the total cubic feet The purpose was to get an idea how much I would be charged I provided as much information as possible to get the closest estimate possible as I trusted their professional judgement and estimation My calculations added up to a total of less than cft, and I kept emailing them with the updated measurement and pictures as I was approaching the end of the packing process I was given a quote of $1300+, and I ended up being charged $2000+ It was mentioned in one of our emails that it looked like my shipment wouldn't exceed cft, and I understand that the actual volume could not be finalized until the day shipment was picked up, but it was too much of a difference As a customer, I believe I had done everything I could to provide all the information I had about the size of my shipment to get an accurate quote I believed that they would be able to give me an accurate quote based on the information I provided, or would ask for more information in order to get me the closest estimate possible If I had known that it would come out $more than the quote, I would have researched further before making my decision, and made an effort to reduce my shipment volume Do you think a customer has to wait till shipment has been picked up and accept whatever the moving company wants to charge?
Second, the paperwork was confusing and misleading On the day my shipment was picked up, the crew told me that my shipment volume exceeded cft, and asked me to sign a blank document, indicating I agreed to pay extra for the extra volume The volume was left blank, and the price was left blank There were some other blank documents I was asked to sign, and of course, I refused I was given an invoice, indicating that I owed a balance of $829, but later the staff told me to ignore that invoice, and issued a new invoice of $ It was very unprofessional to handle business and customers like that
Third, there was a problem with communication The prompt responses from the company stopped immediately after shipment pick-up The crew told me that the office would contact me about the actual volume of my shipment the next day, which did not happen I kept emailing and never got a response, and their voice mail box was also full I was so desperate to get a response, and there was a time when I was wondering if the company was out of business, and I was so worried about the whereabouts of my shipment The property management of my apartment building requested some insurance documents, and asked this company to contact them regarding the arrival date There were some issues about the insurance papers, and I connected the operations manager with the property manager The property manager was unable to get an answer about the arrival date I emailed to find out, but was unable to get an answer either I had to pay $to move my stuff in, as the property management has to reserve their manpower to supervise the move when a truck enters their property The money was non-refundable, and I had to make another reservation and pay again when I could provide an accurate date when the truck was going to arrive I lost $160, and I think I need to be compensated due to the irresponsible and unprofessional management of this company
When shipment arrived, my belongings were all over the truck, and some of my items were mixed with another shipment Also, my bookcase was damaged upon arrival
Throughout all the paperwork, it is mentioned over and over again that this company is not responsible for this or that, the customer cannot stop payment when using a credit card, the customer cannot contact any media organization or internet website if they want to file a claim etcIt seems to me that the company is already prepared for negative responses from their customers from the beginning
This is a horrible company that I considered myself very unlucky to have come across during my search
