Rolls Trans Group was hired to do a service of pick up, delivery and assemblyThey did not provide the complete service
I wish I would have read the reviews prior to me hiring Rolls Van Lines because the experience was horrible I specifically requested an estimate with instructions to pick up a bed, inclusive of headboard, foot board, side rails, mattress and box spring from a furniture store in Maryland to be delivered to New Jersey and assembled I included in the request for the pick up and delivery to be the same day, in addition to me living on the third floor and there is an elevator I was quoted $which I agreed to The day before the furniture was scheduled to be picked up, I was told that it would not be picked up until between and in the afternoon and it was at that I time I learned that they do not pick up and deliver on the same day and my furniture could not be delivered until days later On the day of pick up the driver was hours late and could not pi

Not reimbursed for broken glass shelf
On 11/20/I filed a damage report to ROLLS VAN LINES claims SULPHUR SPRINGS RD SUITEBALTIMORE, MD I mailed out claims in 12/12/Since then I have not been reimbursed like they promised me $for a broken glass shelf for my china cabinetThey packed glass shelves together without any padding in between them one shelf was unbroken the other shattered I have tried several times to reach them by e mail and I am getting no responseI called the moving co which said the claims dept has no phone number and all complaints should be e mailed or mailed which I have doneand still no responseI have saved a letter from them on my e mail that they will reimburse me $I am still waiting for check

We were given an estimate of $for move from VA to IL for sq cu ftI had negotiated several times and sent in inventory listI was ensured that there will not be any additional chargesAfter the movers loaded everything, we were given another paper and the cu ft was listed as sq cu ftWhen we questioned the movers told us that was for insurance purposes only and the price will not changeAfter the few hours we received an email and call saying that the previous estimate was inaccurate and now the amount is approx I told them that there is no way my daughter can afford that, so they adjusted it to around At the end we still ended up paying extra $from the original estimate

Overall I had a wonderful experience with this companyI purchased a dedicated move from Baltimore to Ann ArborThe sales team was efficient and friendlyThe pick up drivers, packers, and loaders and the deliver driver, unloaders and re-assemblers were all fantasticThe only reason that I didn't give this a star rating was that their dispatch person was rude to me on the phone when I called to discuss a problem with my delivery timeBasically, something came up and the dedicated delivery time I paid an extra fee for ended up being day and an additional hours lateHowever, within hours (over a holiday weekend) I was contacted by the office manager and was refunded 100% of my dedicated delivery service fee because of this inconvenienceAlso, the office manager was extremely nice and said that she would address my concern about the person in dispatchOverall, I'm really glad I tried this company and I would use them for a move in the future

I highly recommend this company! They showed up on time, the workers worked hard and fastThey treat you and your belongings with respect They take the extra srep to ask questions and be helpful It was one of the best moving experiences I've ever had

fraudulent charges, holding my stuff hostage, damaged product
I was overcharged with an estimate of 600cfI have attached the picture of the truck fully loadedThe capacity of truck is 1800cf and I only used 1/of truck and have pictures
Originally they told me 500cf (the pick up crew) and I paid in fullA couple days later I got an email that they took all my stuff out and remeasured and it's now 600cf and I have to pay more money or they will not deliver my stuffThey held my stuff hostage so I was forced to pay even though by my calculation I only used 450cf

Rolls moved my belongings from VA to FLAfter a horrible pickup experience, broken and missing items, there's been no response to my claim

Unauthorized charge on credit card
I contracted Rolls Van Line to move furniture from Fairfax VA to my home in Richmond on August this yearI was promised via email from a company representative, which I have, that I could pay by check, but the drivers refused to take a check and would not unload the truck with out a credit cardI suspected fraud but gave by card # and signed a contract to pay ONLY (I had already paid deposit) and clearly marked TOTAL under my signatureI also have an email from the company, saying that would be the total remaining amount with no extra or hidden chargesDistrusting the drivers and a company rep on the phone, I cancelled my cardHowever, in the few minutes it took me to cancel the card, Rolls Van Lines charged an additional for 'extra time'I have the contract, supporting emails, and a witness to the events on the 20th and will hold the Rolls Van Lines fully responsible for the fraudulent unauthorized charge

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This company is a big rip offLike in all the other reviews I have read, when coordinating with the movers everyone is friendly and helpfulBut once they have your goods it goes downhillI was told my furniture would arrive on 1/20/I called days prior to ask what time is delivery and they said it is still in storage and cant load a truck due to the weatherI called a week later and asked for an update and guess what my items are still in storage and my goods will be packed in a truck in hoursAnd to top it off they have charged me 2x for storage fees without my authorization As of today 1/31/I still don't have itemsI have moved several moving companies in my past and this by far is the absolutely the worstAnd English is not their first language I cant stress enough do not use this company

Take heed of the other negative reviews They are all TRUE! This is by far the worst moving company in the history of movers If you have no experience with movers you will at first think their estimator is the greatest THEN you find out that the estimatior has no clue as to how to price a move nor any intention of informing the consumer of what to be aware of when getting estimates READ ALL OF THEIR FINE PRINT You don't know what you don't know until you read the fine print THEN, we can talk about the moving crew, difficult to understand, interested only in loading (and not very carefully), do not care if you are over the quoted limit (more money for them) not good at time management (they arrived hours late, with not call notification)THEN, the business manager, be aware that she will shift the responsibility for knowing the industry standards onto you - the consumerAnd be aware they do not understand the standards themselves THEN, the owner of the company, WHEN you can get ahold of him he tries to make amends for the errors but does a poor job with communicating with his employees THEN, the "delivery window", again, read the fine print because it is not really clear when you will receive your possessions THEN, the communication is lousy - at one time I was told I would receive an email when my possessions leave the warehouse THEN a phone call giving me incorrect information on the scheduled arrivalTHEN, the driver could not accept a personal money order from a bank it had to be a "postal money order" "cash" or as they finally acquised a "certified check" - now they are all the same thing but I was required to exchanged the bank personal money order for a certified check THEN, the move in of the furniture, well, lets say I have to have the carpets cleaned because of their lack of careTHEN, hurry up and sign the bill of lading stating you received all of your belongings (there is no proof, or check sheet that you received everything)THEN, good bye Not everything was put back together, as was promised - sure glad I am capable of most tasksTHEN, where are the parts to.....of which they took apart (no where to be found - I must go find replacement parts to make the items workable)THEN, every single box was absolutely destroyed These were not grocery store boxes - they were all heavy duty U-Haul moving boxesAnd THEN, there is the box of China - every single item in the box was shatteredThis box survived moves without a mishapp until it met up with the "gorilla handling" of this company and their movers Needless to say they get a failing grade from this consumer

During a move in September, the company damaged a wall Once the property management, Champion Realty, had their representative fix the issue and provided me with a receipt to submit of $
12/14/was the initial correspondence from my girlfriend that started the claim process
The moving company sent a letter only offering $100; even after limited correspondence from the company and providing them a receipt nothing has been resolved

Wonderful company to use for a moveHad a great experience, the movers were very nice, helpful, and pleasantThey took all the stress out of movingI would highly recommend the company

Rolls Van Line made unauthorized charges to my credit card
Rolls Van Line was hired by *** *** (my son) to move furniture on July 1, To my knowledge the movers were hired by Mr*** for hours however due to unforeseen circumstances the job required additional hoursI was not and am not privy to the contract
Upon drop off of the furniture, a discrepancy arose between *** and the driver about the amount due (the driver wasted approximately minutes and then called someone named Ramon) Ramon represented himself as the owner/manager of Rolls VanTo my knowledge $was accepted as payment in full
In good faith, I authorized a $charge to my credit card so the driver would drop off ***' furniture Rolls Van Line not only charged the $but fraudulently charged another $ I contacted the company immediately and spoke to Ramon, who said the unauthorized charge of $would be refunded
As of July the refund remains outst
