Business states that consumer has been issued refund

I am rejecting this response because:A verbal agreement was reached on December 19th The agreement was that my seat would be completed and shipped, and a full refund of my deposit made by January 2nd I emailed Mr [redacted] on the 2nd to confirm that the terms of the agreement would be met He told me he had manufactured the seat and that it would ship out later that day He also said my deposit would be returned to me on Monday, January 5th I pointed out to him that the agreement was for the deposit to be returned by January 2nd In a response made to me on January 3rd, Mr [redacted] said he was unable to return my deposit until he collected payments from others He also said my seat was ready for pickup by USPS, somewhat contradicting his previous assertion that it would ship on the 2nd As of now, 1/5/I have not received a tracking number to show my seat has shipped, and I have not received the deposit refund When (if) I get confirmation that my seat has shipped and I have the funds from my deposit returned to me, I will update this complaint

Regarding complaint from me against Rick Mayer, he has finally shipped and I have received the seat. He still owes me the cover though a minor matter
Very good seat builder, but a very poor businessman. I cannot recommend him until he changes his ways of doing business

Regarding my complaint about Rick Mayer Cycle, I confirmed with the Red Bluff Police Department that MrMayer closed his business and left town. The police department also conformed that they had received several complaints about MrMayer. I guess I’ve lost the seat I sent to him
repair and maybe the money I paid him to do the job.*** ***

I filled the above complaint some time ago and it has been closed because the merchant told me that the seats would ship the following weekI agreed to call the case ‘closed’
However, It is now over one month out and MrMayer has yet to get me the seatsIn addition he will not respond to any of my email requests asking for an updateIn essence, he lied and said he would ship the seats so that the Revdex.com Complaint would be closedThey were not and I am still out of nearly $
Can this case be reopened or do I need to file another complaint?

Mr*** has a refund pending to his credit and - this refund will be processed within days from when his refund was approved per our company policyHis refund was approved 11/5/an email was sent and I will send another email today

I have been in touch with Mr*** regarding this matter and I have explained due to the severe drop in my business these past few months, I am unable to refund his account - However I do not dispute his claim and I have told Mr*** that I will be refunding his full claimThank you

Business states that his order was processed but there was a shipping label discrepancy and post office held item for a couple of weeks. Business has contacted consumer and informed him his order was resent via UPS.

That said, I have heard from [redacted] on several other occasions that things were 'worked out' on specific time-frames. IN the attached message, I was told new/repaired seats would be sent out by late THIS WEEK. I think it is more than fair to expect this shipping estimate to be honored. If it is not, I would appreciate further involvement of the Revdex.com (or the CA-DCP if needed) until this situation has been resolved.

Review: I sent my motorcycle seat to this company go get rebuilt. I had paid them $838 for the service. Parts / Service Charge / Shipping all included. The seat was sent to them December 18 with a promissory of the end of January for completion. I'm February I have not gotten my seat back yet. Concerned, I had tried calling them for an update on my seat. I had called them several times for several weeks and had not gotten a response back until march 5th. His message to me that day was "Sorry, I'm Busy. Call back later" Several calls later, I had gotten another reply on March 11th. His reply was "[redacted] you are entitled to an explanation and I apologize for being hard to gar a hold of. I have had to close my shop and go back to work as a nurse but I do have every intention on completing your order and I will do so before the end of the month. I do have your utopia backrest and I will be installing it in your seat and you will receive the finished product. Its been a very difficult time for me personally. Many personal issues have conflicted with my business and I apologize for being out of touch. I promise I will do an excellent job in your seat and I do hope you enjoy the finished product." Since April 1st, I have been calling him and I have not gotten a reply yet until this day. This business has had my money, and my property since December. I cant get in touch with them anymore.Desired Settlement: I would just like to get a full refund and the return of my property. His service charge is $599 and my backrest (which I had delivered to him for the service) is $239. Send me back my seat and backrest, and refund me the $599 service charge.

Review: I placed an order for a custom made seat. The second I faxed in my order the payment was ran in full. 3 days later I received an email stating my build date was scheduled for 23 days down the road and to have my stock seat there 2 days before my scheduled date. The email and website tell you he will return your custom made seat in 7-10 business days. I shipped my stock seats and he signed for them 2 days before my build date. 18 days later and a couple emails later inquiring about when I would see my seats I received a reply stating they were backed up from moving their shop and expected to complete them the following week. 7 days later I followed up with an email and voice mail. No response, 6 days later still no response so I followed-up with email and voice message. Received an email that he was sorry but personal issues were greatly effecting his business and he would get them built and sent out the next day USPS priority that would guarantee a 2-3 day delivery. 3 days later still nothing so I emailed asking for a tracking number. No response to either email or phone message, 3 more days and nothing so I emailed and left voice mail again asking for update and tracking. Again no response. The next day I emailed asking what his intentions were, at this point it appears he has no intention of building me the seat I paid for and would like my seats back and a full refund. The next day he responded with he had paid postage for a smaller box and it was the post offices fault. They were holding the package there and hadn't returned it to him. He wasn't aware of this and would get it relabeled and on its way. I replied to his email asking for tracking so I could keep an eye out for it. Of course "NO REPLY" 6 days later still nothing, I sent an email asking for some follow-up as I was trying to plan a trip. Of course "NO REPLY" So as of today it's been 74 Days since he charged me for the seats, 44 days since my build date and 15 days since he claimed he'd sent it. Worst service I've ever encounteredDesired Settlement: At this point I'm going to have to purchase a new seat for my bike as I have not been able to ride it in 2 months. I would like a full refund on the purchase amount and for him to either send my stock seats back to me. (Mine, not someone else's) in the like new unaltered condition I sent them in or pay me the value of my seats which he has established as $500.00 on his website.

The specifics regarding Mr. [redacted]'s order and the delay in delivery relate primarily to the fact that shortly after receiving Mr. [redacted]'s order, I received an offer on the property my shop was located and was forced to move my shop. Mr [redacted]'s order was assigned a start date of 2/26/14 and he was notified of this date by email. Typically, an order requires up to two weeks after the start date to ship, however this customer's shipping was delayed several weeks and did not ship until 4/23/14. According the the USPS website, tracking #[redacted], the number assigned to Mr. [redacted]'s order was delivered on 4/29 to the following address;

Ordered saddle modification July 2013, Shipped saddle to be modified Sep29, contract said would be done 10 days. Got message would be delayed a couple of weeks, then got message would be delivered in Dec, then got message would be delivered in April, Now May 4th and no delivery. Do not have original or modified saddle so cannot ride on planned trips. Most v-mail and e-mails not answered.

Review: I paid $334.00 Mid January 2014 and shipped my motorcycle seat to [redacted] Cycle mid Feburary 2014 to be rebuilt and have not received it back. I was told it would be sent back the end of March and again by the 3rd of April. T have tried calling and emailing [redacted] but have received no response. The check was cashed in January.Desired Settlement: I would like my seat rebuilt and sent back to me or send the seat back in its original condition and a full refund.
