I subsribed to Acorn TV via my Roku. I cancelled my subscription in April. It is now November and I'm still being charged on my credit card. I I received an email confirmation saying that my account was cancelled. When I log into my Acorn TV account, it shows that my status is cancelled and that my credit card won't be charged anymore. This is a blatant lie because I've been charged for 7 months after my cancellation date.

Revdex.com:I did not speak directly to the company. A representative left a voice mail message to confirm I wanted to cancel the account. I returned the call and left a voice message to let them know I did want to cancel the account. A few days ago my credit card was charged for another month of service. Since I never received a cancellation notice in writing and was still being charged for the service, I assumed my account was not cancelled.

Hello,We responded to this issue today, 2/22/16.  We extended customer's subscription by three months and reset the account.
Customer will try to watch Acorn TV and let us know if it is resolved.

Acorn TV responded to this complaint today, 1/4/15.  Contacted customer and issued 3 $4.99 credits to her new credit card on file. 
We spoke to the subscriber two times and this is now resolved.

We contacted customer today and issued a refund of $24.99.  We also sent customer an e-mail and do apologize for any mis-communication.
Customer's account is active until Dec. 2016.

For this case, we contacted customer and issued (2 )$4.99 refunds for her account listed under [redacted].com  and spoke to customer.
 
We also just found another account for her listed under another e-mail address: [redacted].com   We have issued 3 refunds of $4.99 and have canceled her account.
 
We do hope the customer rejoins [redacted] and consider this issue closed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I would like to point out that after numerous e mails and phone calls on my part, I did not get a resolution to my problem until I contacted the Revdex.com.  The problem was resolved that day with follow-up e-mails and phone calls from representatives from [redacted].  
I am satisfied with the resolution of the problem, but I believe the situation was resolved more quickly with the intervention of Revdex.com.
