Rise Broadband sent me an email in January of advertising a New Years promotion for their internet service The plan offered faster speed and more data for about the same price I was currently paying Additionally, the email said I would get a $*** gift card for taking advantage of this promotion I contacted Rise in mid-January and signed up for this promotion I received no further information about the gift card at that time So I called back a few weeks later to inquire when the card would be sent to me I was told I would receive an email with instructions about how to get my gift card I never received an email about the gift card I called Rise again in March I was told that I needed to fill out a form on their website to receive the gift card and I would receive the card in 30-days So I completed the form When I still did not receive the card, I contact Rise again in June I was advised to complete the form again and given the same day lead t

Rise charged me an unreturned router fee even though I returned the router literally the same day they sent the return formIt's now been two months and multiple customer service calls (customer service agrees I should have a credit but apparently are powerless automatons) and I have yet to see a creditThis company seems to have a practice of stealing from customers and hoping they don't notice - and when they do making it so difficult to get their money back they just give up

Rise Broadband provides internet services in and around *** ***The service provided to us has been slow (less than 50% of advertised speed) and consistent loss of service for 2+ hoursWe have contacted them on numerous occasions for resolutionNone has been providedThe technician even came to our house different times and still the issue continuedHe said the tower has been degraded for many monthsThere is only one tower available for service in our locationThey cannot switch us to another tower

I’ve been a long time customer of rise broadband I had some issues with the internet called tech support got all that figured out was running smooth I requested a technician come out a repair the cable coming in to the house figuring no big deal easy job tech shows up within hour tech replaced the cable added new surge box to poll not sure why didn’t say anything figured it was procedure tech informed me he changed the connection spot said it would fix my speed issues and leftLater come in to the house there’s no internet call customer service requested a tech come fix it because internet doesn’t work at all now after hours and many call even with supervisor absolutely zero help from there end to fixing the internet until days later even after saying I’d walk away as a customer still no care in the world to please a customer of theirs and get their services repaired their tech messed upQuite unprofessional customer service

the internet is always down and if it working you cant even stream a movie anything else for that matterI call several times a weeks for the last monthsThey will not send a tech, or the tower is down, or customer service is just rudeI asked since I pay my bill every month for service I am not receiving will I be credited but refuseThis is horrible service and a rip of! This company is the worst of the worst If you like being put on hold for a half hour at a time, then maybe you'll like this company As for customer service, it's almost non-existent When my internet service went out after a storm last week I spent just under a half hour on hold until I could talk to a technical service representative She verified that there was no signal communication with the antenna and scheduled a technician to come out and repair it - days later! I called another company and was online again in under two days I'm rating the company with a single star simply because I can't submit the review with no stars

One star is too good for this companyThey claim to offer fast internet service for a decent priceHowever when you look at their prices against a major competitor like Xfinity from ComcastThey don't even come closeThey charge me personally about a month and that's when they aren't throwing overage charges on me every monthTheir internet speed are a jokeI work from home and require a fast internet to do my jobThese crooks tell me I get 10mb download speeds however when we run frequent speed test I am only receiving 1mb download speeds if thatCompared to paying the same price for Comcast internet I could be having 250mb download speedsThis company owns the monopoly on internet out in rural Colorado and they do nothing for their customersI have been told for three years now they were going to install another tower out here to alleviate some of the stress they are putting on their towersStill no new tower nor have they done anything to help with connection speed even when I have asked for a tech to come out and look at the issueSo in short, they have some of the worst customer service that I have ever seenThey price gouge you at every turn and can get away with itTheir so called fastest internet anywhere slogan is and they will do nothing to aid in your struggles of internet speedsBuyers beware if you are like me and have no other alternative beware of this terrible service providerIf you have another option for internet I would advise you to try and stay away from this companyOnce I have the opportunity I will be dropping this provider as soon as possible

This wireless business does not have good customer service They do not return calls They disconnect you from a call after you have been on hold for minutes They transfer you to another department and then hang up They have scripted information stating that you are part of a network outage before they even investigate your problem THEY LIE!!
They intentionally did not process a payment set up on auto pay and then tried to charge the late fee They said it would be waived because it was their mistake but then did not and told me I would get a disconnect fee!!!

A change was made to my account by a Rise Broadband individual about 8/without my consent which will force me to incur substantionally increased pricing I have tried to get the issue resolved on numerous occasions, but was told that even though they made the mistake, I have to go with a new higher tier pricing plan

For the last three weeks my connection keeps dropping every 20-minutes I have emailed several times and even had a tech come out and check everything They have not resolved the issue but tell me that LTE upgrades are coming but can't give me even a ballpark date if when that will be done Everytime I call when the connection goes down they say it's back up so nothing they can do Meanwhile I am stuck on old equipment that can't handle anything faster than 3Mbps and keeps going out making it hard to do anything online
