I have been a customer for yearsWhen Rise Broadband purchased T6, it was been nothing but downhillI pay for a megabit internet package and rarely get even megabitTheir towers are overloadedThey keep claiming that there will be an upgrade however it's been months and nothingI've had service calls, approx in the past yearNo one can seem to fix or helpScam!!! I have been contacting Rise Broadband - numerous times, both directly to corporate offices and to technical assistant departments---regarding the poor quality of service they provide to me and others using the particular 'tower' that is the only one available for my location They continue to be a broken record promising all will be resolved, but no idea as to when In the meantime, I pay a fee for 5mbps download, yet only receive to during peak times (evening, night) hours They have lowered my billing and promise to lower it more (for a short time) to appease the situation However, cost is not the issue---service is! They advertise being able to give great service, yet if a tower is antiquated, needing update (as in my particular case) - that advertised 'boast' is a totally promise

Called to reach Tech Services, waited minutes finally called Customer Service for new customers who answered in about seconds told them I needed to talk with a Tech Supervisor, they said he was at lunch and would call me in about 1/hour, hours later Cliff, the supervisor called and after minutes the problem was that my box was out and I needed a new box Told Cliff this is the third box since they took over T-6????? He said that some of the boxes only last awhile Said new ReadyNet box would be sent Tuesday well it's Thursday and no box I explained to him that they computer was upstairs and the box was down stairs so he told me hook up the Wan cord directly to my computer and when the box comes just plug everything back in and take the computer back upstairs He gave me a tracking number but I can't get through to Tech Services as they indicate longer than usual wait times This is the worst Tech Services I have dealt with in a long time Need to start looking for another provider Shame on you Rise Broadband Hope that this gets passed along to the head of this company as sometimes the CEO's or owners are not made aware of the horrible way the customers are treated Also now trying to contact their chat live line and you guessed it waiting minutes so far with a message

Terrible company to deal with! Research all other options before using this company for internet service I had used TBroadband for years with no issues and then Rise Broadband purchased them It has been nothing but problems since They switched me to a "new faster plan that was the same price" Turns out it was not the same price ($more monthly) and customer service will not do anything about it because "corporate has to take care of that" STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Risebroadband claims that they will and can provide an internet speed 0f mgb speedWe need an internet speed of at least 4.0-to operate a security systemTo date the security system (vivant) cannot operate effectively due to constant dropping of internet and even when connected speeds that range around 1-speedsAfter multipile calls and being put on hold for times as high as minutes A representative claims they are working on the prolem and will call us back when it is resolvedNo call back has ever been made nor do any changes happen with internet connection speeds I cannot run my buiesness or personal buiesness with this type of serviceAt this point I have no other choice but to hire another internet provider Rise broadband claims there is nothing they can do and I still have to pay a cancellation feeI logged onto the compliants for this company and easily complaints popped up all stating the very same thing inwhich I am going thruTheir advertisemne
