Review: I am a physician assistant living in California. I started receiving packages and envelopes containing discount prescription cards. I never requested these cards and I suspect they got my address from the my DEA license. I am now receiving several packages and envelopes per week. I have made no less than 15 phone calls over the past year and have made multiple phone calls to be removed from their list and yet I continue to receive these cards. I am now receiving packages and envelopes from several different branded cards. At this point, considering how many attempts I have made to be removed from this list and how the volume has been increased, I consider this no less than harassment. I also suspect that considering my information may have been acquired from my DEA license I will also have to make contact with that department as well.Desired Settlement: I would like to be removed from their mailing list as well as a letter of stating that I have been removed from their list. I would like this letter to contain some identifying information about their company so that I may contact them if I receive any further mailings.

Anyone can use our cards, though I’m sorry to hear you will not be. Please know that I have removed your name from our mailing list. Please allow two weeks for these changes to take effect, and you will not be receiving any additional materials from us moving forward. I’m terribly sorry for this inconvenience and would be more than happy to discuss with you further any concerns you might have. I spoke to [redacted] directly via email. In a very unfortunate set of circumstances, he requested to be taken off our mailing list after our production and mail cycle for the month of January had already begun. He was removed from our mailing on the day of his initial request, but unfortunately it was too late to stop the two mailings he received. He is not on any of our lists and should never receive any materials from our organization in the future. I apologized personally to [redacted] for the inconvenience.

Review: Script Relief, LLC, sent a solicitation for medical discount services to my minor child. I immediately called the company upon us receiving the letter. The phone number recorded messages that I listened to discussed how the services helped enable access to discounted [redacted] and [redacted] and other materials inappropriate for minors. I requested the information as to how they received the personal contact information for my daughter and was told by both the customer service and escalated supervisor that there is no one in the entire company that I could speak with who can provide that information so I could prevent that information source from further propagating that information. Searches of the web sites provided no additional contact information. besides 1-8xx call centers. There are written correspondence addresses that I intend to use. However, given the multiple addresses (different on the letter, on the web sites, and the address the call center gave me), I believe that this is simply a shell run around.Desired Settlement: I would like the contact information of the company distributing my minor child's personally identifiable information so I can request that they cease and desist doing so.

The card may be used or disposed of at the consumer’s discretion--there is no personal information tied to the card. That being said, I want apologize to you and your daughter as our pharmacy discount card is not meant to be sent to minors. We work with a series of partners to help us identify those who might benefit from a pharmacy discount program. Cardholders may be placed on our mailing list through third party marketing partners, or may have been referred by a family member or friend. While we do conduct many levels of cleansing including a screen for minors, at considerable expense to our organization, unfortunately your daughter's name was not removed from our system. Typically this happens when a minor purchases something from the internet and either doesn't give their age, or doesn't give their correct age. Either way, I’d like to assure you that your daughter’s rights are fully protected, as is her privacy, and I will be removing your household from our mailing list immediately. I want to make it very clear that we NEVER sell or rent personal information.
