Delayed order, the wrong item shipped, did not have the features I paid for. They tried to cheat me, buy saying they would give me a $75 discount. When the chair they sent me was cheaper, used, damaged, worn in - not refurbished like new. Just a shady practice. I hope something is done about this company. They try and push their cheap broken products as new. I lost 25 days of dealing with their incompetence and lies (while going through knee surgery)
I personally think this is how they do business, prey on people who would not say anything or call out their garage way of doing business.

We process thousands of orders every year. We sent the wrong color and therefore offered a discount .As far as the shipping time, we post up to 14 business days. That fell on a Friday and you received it on Sunday. Not exactly a worthwhile complaint. We did our best. As far as your 'estimate' of dealing with the issue for 25 days, that is grossly inaccurate since your order was placed on 10/28, you received it on 11/17, you submitted your complaint on 11/18 exactly 21 days after your order was placed. So it was not 25 days of dealing with incompetence and it was only one day of dealing with the company trying to resolve the issue when we in fact offered a discount. In the meantime, it is you the customer that is not ethical since we have not yet received back the chair you want to either return or switch to a different color.

You can say what you want. I paid for a product, and I did not get what I paid for. Its not my fault you are not capable of handling the orders. That just shows how incapable your company is and why it had a 1 star on Revdex.com. I am not the only one complaining about your shady practice.

One star is too much credit. DO NOT....DO NOT BUY A CHAIR FROM THESE PEOPLE. I bought a new ergo chair, looked to be a good deal, and it arrived TEN DAYS behind schedule (meanwhile I was sitting in a lawn chair in my new office). 2 days in, the BASE OF THE CHAIR STRAIGHT BROKE APART. When you call the "customer service" line----NOBODY WILL EVER ANSWER THE PHONE or call you back. They only communicate via email. They sent me a new base to the chair, NO TOOLS, NO INSTRUCTIONS, just a nasty part they dug out of the corner of a warehouse. When you call the "sales" desk to try to speak to someone, they hang up on you. DO NOT, DO NOT buy ANYTHING from these people.

It did not arrive 10 days behind schedule. It arrived 12 business days after the order was placed and the web site clearly states up to 14 business days following the order. In order to provide customer service as an internet company, we have customer service answering and providing assistance about 18 hours a day. It is therefore highly possible that you were able to communicate via email but not on the phone. We hope everything is resolved by now.

Ordered a refurbished chair which came with damage that made it non functional. Despite sending requested photos and video, customer service said they didn't see the problem (though oddly referred to a missing headrest, even though you can see it in the photo). They said we're welcome to return the chair, which we did, after realizing that it wasn't worth fighting with them and trying to get a replacement. We did receive a refund, but $117 was not refunded, presumably for their restocking fee. That fee should not apply for a faulty product. Attempts to contact customer service for a full refund were ignored.

The notes on the order clearly states that the video does not show any damage. We had no other choice but to charge a restocking fee.

I wish I had read these Revdex.com reviews before I ordered a chair. Orders are supposed to take a couple of weeks to receive, a few days longer for larger items. But after a month, still no chair. I've emailed the company, but still waiting for a response. Meanwhile, my credit card has been charged and paid. If I don't hear back in the next day or two, I'll need to cancel the order. But based on the negative reviews, I'm not looking forward to that hassle.

We looked on the order and delivery date. It was only one week late based on what is posted on the shipping page. We have thousands of orders every year and it just happened that we ran out the color you wanted and waiting a few days to get the color of your choice. We apologize for the delay but we wanted a satisfied customer.

I purchased an office chair from the Seating Mind online store on 9/13/2019. I received the chair by *** on 9/24/2019 and immediately discovered a tear in the leather seat. I contacted the seller and provided photographs of the damage. The seller has offered to provide me with a full refund and has advised me to return the defective chair. After repeated requests, the merchant has failed to provide me with a prepaid return shipping label. Shipping costs are approximately $350 and it is unreasonable to expect me, the buyer of a defective product, to pay for return shipping expenses.

I went through the notes in our data base. Apparently the customer sent pictures of the 'damage'. It was not a tear but rather a scratch on the back. We offered $50 discount or return for refund. In the meantime the customer disputed the charge with his cc company. There is nothing more for us to do on this.

THE SELLER STATES THAT THE DAMAGE WAS A "SCRATCH"...THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!!!! THERE WAS AN ACTUAL CUT IN THE LEATHER FABRIC APPROXIMATELY 3/4 OF AN INCH LONG ON THE BACK OF THE SEAT!!!! THEY HAVE REPEATEDLY DISTORDED THE FACTS OF THIS TRANSACTION.

I would be one to leave a zero score if possible. I purchased a pair of Humanscale chairs after asking about the quality of their refurbished chairs. My initial emailed questions were promptly answered, and I was assured that the chairs were in like new condition. Upon receiving the chairs they were the wrong color and grimy (wheels and bases). The description of the chairs I ordered specifically stated the chair and base colors. Responses to my complaints weren't as prompt as when I was initially inquiring. I finally returned the chairs anticipating getting a full refund. (To their credit they *didsend prepaid FedEx labels for the return.) However, because they were returned more then 30 days after delivery (busy summer) a 25% restocking fee was kept by them. And I was told that the usual restocking fee is 35%. Then I noted the following statement on their web page: "All photos and descriptions of chairs are intended for informational purposes only. We should never be held liable if a chair differs from the photos or descriptions." Had I noted this statement and certain online reviews sooner I would have avoided this business. In brief, be warned.

I looked up the notes regarding your order. We were very fair with you. Even though the pictures showed a different color than you stated they were, we sent you a return shipping label. We sent this to you on 6/11 and it took you over 2 months to return our goods even though you originally received your purchase only 10 days after your purchase. We were more than fair about the restocking fee. It was 20%, not as you stated 25%. even though it was returned more than TWO months later. We have thousands of happy customers and are sorry that you were not pleased. Given the true facts after looking up all the dates and notes associated with this order, we would appreciate a more accurate rating.

Fine Mod Imports delviered and had a gentleman assemble a coffee table for me in home. I signed a document stating satsifactory completion of the assembly. Two (2) days later I found a scratch on the coffee table. The product as delivered is compromised, albeit slightly, still compromised. I paid not only for the coffee table itself, but an extra fee of $130 for the private delivery and assembly and $100 for the business to procure a Certificate of Insurance for the delivery driver, which they should have had already for themselves.

I reported the condition within 2 days of delviery, and provided pictures of same, as indicated on the company's website. The company now refuses to honor the warrant and replace the item. I received bt excuses stating that (i) the item is sold out, and will take months to receive a new shipment Please note, however when I go to the website as if I were ordering another, there's no indication of the item being sold out; nad (ii) that the scratch is part of the finish and is normal.

Ordered a refurbished Knoll Life chair on May 3. Since they won't answer the phone, all communication was done via email. None of their initial email communication and/or their website told me that the chair would take 10-15 business days to ship, but when I emailed on May 15, they somehow miraculously were able to ship that very day. The chair showed up, fully assembled, on May 21. Their idea of "packing" was to throw the chair into a box, lop a 1/8" layer of plastic packing material over the top, and then put another box on top of it with a little tape. Since the chair had casters, of course it moved around during shipping (New Jersey to Wyoming), and of course one of the legs worked through the box, was jutting out, and had sustained damage. Upon inspection, ALL the legs had chipped paint (had probably been put in the box just like that) and the arms were black (rather than aluminum like the picture) and were not adjustable. Via email for the next two days, I argued with them about the condition of the chair AND the fact that it was not the same one that I thought I had ordered. They offered me a $50 credit to keep the chair because of the in-shipment damage, but they never offered me anything (including a new chair) to get me the adjustable arms that I ordered. I declined, and I shipped the chair back to them. Prior to putting the chair back in their boxes, I carefully wrapped each leg with bubble wrap so it would show up in EXACTLY the same shape that I received it. It took them about a week after receiving the chair before they issued my full refund, but I did get it (and I consider myself lucky for that). This business should be shut down and/or sued with class action suits. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

The facts you presented are not 100% accurate. We send thousands of chairs monthly and our packaging is done with the utmost care needed for this merchandise. We have a case pending with Fedex since they damaged your chair - we appreciate you bringing this to our attention since we shared your date with FedEx. We actually shipped the product WELL WITHIN our advertised time posted on the shipping page that is accessible on the bottom of every page on the site https://seatingmind.com/shipping-returns/ .As far as the base, you neglected to select the options on the product https://seatingmind.com/life-chair-by-knoll-gray-mesh-back-black-leather-seat-fully-adjustable-model/ . Given the circumstances of your order, we offered either $50 refund or the entire order refunded and you did receive your refund. After reviewing the facts I noted. it would be appreciated if you review your comments and rate us more fairly. Ultimately, you ordered the wrong product and received it within our posted shipping time, we were fair in offering a complete refund and you received a complete refund. This does not deserve the rating nor the comment at the end of your explanation not to do business with this company.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. They stole from me, so I can understand why this business is not Revdex.com accredited. I just hope someone finally shuts them down - it's clear from this page that they are stealing from many people.

We tried working with this customer. In order to substantiate the customer's claims we asked for photos of the product that was received. This is a standard procedure. Without photos or proof we processed a refund after we received back the merchandise. Not sure why this is considered 'stealing' from a customer as she claims.

Customer decided to cancel the order. This particular product was being drop shipped from the manufacturer. We were trying to stop the shipment before it was loaded on the Fedex truck and on its way. We tried notifying this customer as to our attempts to stop the shipment but the emails bounced back. Ultimately the customer received a full refund. We were working with the customer all along to stop the shipment and refund the customer which we did. This interaction with a customer and refunding the order in full, although it takes a lot of resources to undo an order, does not deserve the comments placed by this customer 'SCAM company' when everything was undone at our expense with no expense whatsoever to the customer.

Order a specialty chair known for specific seating mechanics called Lyris. This Lyris mechanism was listed on the actual page, in the description of the chair, I have a screenshot. Bought the chair and of course it was not Lyris mechanism. When I spoke with Jacob he mentioned that the description on the page was copied from another product and this chair is NOT Lyris and it's "padded". Now it does say "padded" on the page, but it also said Lyris and so I thought I was buying a padded Lyris chair but instead it was just padded, no Lyris. After going back and forth for over a week we agreed on exchanging my chair for another which is actual Lyris. They refunded my original purchase, charged me for a new chair.

Week goes by and I call them to see where my chair us and was informed it will take 1-2 weeks before they send me the new chair. 2 week after this initial call they are telling me that they are refunding my 2nd purchase and it will take another week for them to process the refund!!!

We were working with the customer all along. We were waiting for the customer 's decision if a gray chair was OK even though they wanted a blue.one. During this time we were trying to get a blue one. Customer was well aware of the reason for the delay - we were trying to get the color of their choice and the customer was waiting as well. Customer received a full refund on the first order AND the second. We worked hard to satisfy this customer but since the customer could not get their color, they decided to give us the lowest rating. This was not a fair assessment of the situation.

Horrible experience, believe this company is a total scam. Ordered a FULLY OPTIONED Herman Miller Chair, didn't get communication or a tracking number, so after a couple weeks reached out to them. Finally received correspondence and they were building my chair... that sparked them to grab a stripped down OLD, USED, DAMAGED, NASTY DIRTY chair and shipped it to me. Was also missing the headrest we paid additional for, and the lumbar support was the cheap version and not the upgraded one we ordered and paid for. They do not answer their phones ever, so after a couple emails with photo proof the condition and after about 2 days finally received correspondence. They tried to deny the issue, but we demanded a return shipping label and shipped it back. Couple weeks later they refund holding back 20%, so we contacted and they are stating they kept 20% as a restocking fee..... completely unacceptable as they did not ship what was ordered. We challenged them sending again photos proving the issue and then they stopped corresponding. TOTAL SCAM COMPANY in my eyes.

Customer put in no request for an exchange. As any major warehouse operates, mistakes can happen. Had customer needed a switch or replacement, we would have been more than happy to comply.

I ordered 25 aeron chairs and was amazed how quickly I received my entire order. Not only that, they were all refurbished as the web site states but were all in perfect condition. Could not be more satisfied. As a buyer for a corporation, I intend on buying here every time for our growing company. We are constantly buying office furniture and this is the place I will continue to come back to for the most pleasant shopping experience.

I had the same bad experience as all of the other bad reviews. I tried to place my order since February 2017 and waited and waited. The expectations given by Nelly and Chavee were not as discussed or emailed. I had to follow up over and over and finally they were ready to deliver towards the end of December. The 3 items I ordered were terrible quality, poor workmanship with defects of discoloration, two different color white leathers that they later claim come that way, oxidation of the chorme with scratches, pitting and rough to the touch, scratches, dents, dings, gray coming through the white leather and overall not acceptable to anyones standards. They did not stand behind their product, they would not reship, the cost of shipping was more than double than quoted, then they wanted me to coordinate shipping after we agreed they would handle, then they wanted to give me a credit instead of a refund while not reshipping another order. I left numerous messages for Jacob to contact me through Nelly and Chavee, but he never responded. The entire experience was a headache, a waste of time and not a company that I want to deal with again. Fine Mod Imports Inc. dba I&L Distributing Inc. has good prices for some decent looking furniture when viewing online, but in person it is garbage quality and the company does not know how to deal with clients. There are so many other furniture distributers that are pleasent to deal with, stand behind their brand, do what they say they will do and deliver a quality product. Fine Mod is not "Fine" quality and it is not "Fine" how they put me through a nightmare, what a time waster.

Wow. One of the worst consumer experiences I have ever had. Nowhere is it published that this chair takes 5 weeks to assemble. 5 WEEKS. Customer service clearly gets these dissatisfied customers frequently as "Leena" was ZERO help in understanding my issue or resolving it. It takes a special kind of poor experience for me to write a review. Welp, here I am. Buyer Beware!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Bad overall experience. Bad on every level.

We ordered three different types of chairs with a total of 68 chairs in our order. Paid over $14000 up front.

For two of the models totaling 18 chairs, they sent the wrong model of chairs. The condition of these brand new chairs was poor, with damage from shipping in addition to rust on chrome parts of the chair arms. One of the chairs was missing an arm entirely. They offered a small token discount for the problems.

The other 50 chairs were refurbished. It took nearly a month longer than promised to receive the order. When I inquired, if I got a response at all, it would usually take at least two days. We are still waiting for the last two chairs to be delivered.

There is a lot of consistency between my experience and what is reflected in the other reviews here.

Really horrible customer service. Poor product quality. Incredibly disappointed.

For 30 days I have requested shipping info for a chair I purchased. They took payment within two days. 9 emails exchanged still netted zero ship date nor tracking info. Myriad of excuses given and promises made and failed. They told me it takes 15 days to ship, I gave them 17 and was told it was shipping any day yet never would confirm date nor provide tracking info. I had no choice but to cancel my order due to their poor customer care and failure to deliver product.

I looked up the notes on your order. We wanted you to get the product you wanted and therefore in your case it took slighlty longer than usual by a few days. After you received the product you placed a dispute. Ultimately, you were refunded in full. As stated, we did our best so that you get the product. We could have done a 'bait and switch' but we chose the higher moral ground. We are sorry you did not need it by the time you received the chair. Hopefully, next time you will give us another chance. Our action was due to the desire to fully satisfy a customer.

Impossible to speak with someone so don't bother calling. If you want someone that stands behind and in front of their business, this is not the company you want to deal with.
Ordered a chair over a week ago and it still hasn't even made it to the truck. Customer service said they would check the order but never replied. Going to have to work with the credit card company to reverse the charges.

The records show that your order was placed on 10/2 and it was received on 10/19. The FedEx tracking code is *** . We do aplogize for the customer service response that may not have been as quickly as you needed the data, however, you did receive the chair well within the time we promise on the shipping link on the bottom of every page of the web site. We feel that this testimonial was undeserving and really needs to reflect the fact that you ordered a chair and received it well within its promised date. The operation is big enough where products are not placed on the truck immediately but we always manage to get it to you within the dates promised. Please update this information accordingly.

This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I ordered a chair from Seating Mind in August. The chair that I thought I was purchasing was supposed to be in "like new" condition, and it was supposed to be a "fully loaded" Herman Miller chair.

After completing my purchase, I was told that the chair would ship in 24-48 hours. That was my first disappointment. The chair did not even leave the warehouse for over 2 weeks, and it took over 3 weeks to receive it. When the chair finally arrived, the seat had multiple holes in it and it was lacking a fairly important feature. Customer service provided me with the options to keep the chair "as is" for a very minor discount or keep the chair without the function and have them replace the seat for an even more disappointing discount. I tried to involve my credit card company in the dispute, but the seating mind customer service department made the claim that "I was using the chair" so clearly everything that they had done wrong up until that point was my fault. This chair cost almost $500, and the issue has not been resolved. The company should be embarassed about how they treat their customers, because sending a customer a torn chair without features that they paid for and putting the burden on the customer to try and fix the issue is a really poor business model. Save yourself the hassle and headache and never order from this greedy and irresponsible company.

The chair was purchased on 8/22. It was received by the customer on 9/6, 2 weeks after the order was made, not 3 weeks as the customer states. Here is the fed ex tracking code *** . It was only on 10/17 - six weeks after the customer received the chair, that we received the chair back for the customer for processing a return of funds. The fed ex tracking number refund and returning the goods is *** . Clearly the customer was not the most cooperative when it came to working out a refund. The customer received a full refund. Ultimately the customer ordered a product, was to return it right away but did not, received a full refund anyway. Customer Service worked as best as possible with the customer. We did not deserve this rating. We delivered on time and gave a full refund.
