To Whom It May Concern;This is the first this office is hearing of this issue. We apologize for [redacted] confusion and poor explanation given by our staff on our policies and free services. The $29.95 is a list price on the invoice if you look the column to the right there a $0.00...

charge for the service. As for the free flat repair we repair the tire internally so we recommend that the tire be rebalanced and the valve stem or TPMS core be changed. We discount both services down to $3.95 as a courtesy. Though we recommend these services they are not mandatory. If the customer declines these services the tire repair is 100% free. This does not include rebuilding a TPMS sensor if needed or resetting the system since it is separate from the tire. We charge $2.95 for the TPMS reset again this is an optional service. We normally charge $20.00 for the reset but discount it for returning customers with a repair. We will gladly refund [redacted] for the additional services he paid for. As previously stated we will gladly refund Mr. NeJame the $7.95 he was charged. As for future repairs all [redacted] would have to do is decline the additional services. However we will supply a letter along with the refund authorizing the balancing and TPMS core replacement with the repair of his tire at no charge on this vehicle only. This will not include any issues stemming from a TPMS sensors or system resets as they are not part of the tire or wheel. If he no longer wishes to visit the store we will gladly refund him 5% of the tire price excluding installation and labor to beat the competitor's price by 5% per our policy. I am rejecting this response because:The free flat repair is included in the price of the tires.  You say that I am charged $0 for the tire repair service, but that is not true since it is part of what I receive -- like the warranty -- with the tires.  When I buy tires at Firestone across the street, and have a nail in my tire, they repair the tire and do everything else necessary and charge me NOTHING.Town Fair charged me $7.95.  They can say that the charge is for something else, but when I went in for the free tire repair, the guy behind the counter said that will be $7.95.  When I protested that the repair was supposed to be free, he said the repair was free, but I had to pay to rebalance and new stem or whatever.  My options were not explained and I did not have a chance to say no.I want my $7.95 mailed to me  and I want to know that when I go back if I have another flat that I will not be charged for anything.Sincerely,

To Whom It May concern;This is the first we are hearing for Mr. [redacted] issue. Unfortunately a ripped or gashed tire is the result of a road hazard  That particular tire we don't offer a free road hazard on. It would have been offered as an option at the time of purchase....

Mr. [redacted] opted not to purchase the warranty. [redacted] doesn't cover any road hazard at all regardless of time. Their manufacturer's warranty covers workmanship only. As for our 30 day test drive the tires must be returned undamaged in exchange for a different set. I am rejecting this response because: Mr. A[redacted] is making false claims. The damage to the rims was immediately brought to the attention of the store manager, before the vehicle was moved at all.

Please keep in mind that this is the fourth time this problem occurred and I have had the same problem in three different locations across Massachusetts and Connecticut.  Each time Town Fair Tire says they address the issue with the store, they have not corrected their business practices and I continue to have the same exact problem.  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

To Whom It may concern;We are aware of this issue. [redacted] Has spoken with the store manager and myself. [redacted] did not report the damage to his wheels until days after service. It is unclear where damage is from. [redacted] also admits that there was significant preexisting damage on the wheels....

considered disabling by the NHTSA which was explained to Mr. [redacted]. I am rejecting this response because:
There was absolutely no mention of trying to over charge my wife in the response or the attitude my wife received from their employee! 20-30 Minutes? My wife sat there for an hour!!! There were obviously no issues with the garage bay that they do the alignments in. How do I know? Because they were taking walk in customers and doing their alignments ahead of her! At this point I have already had the alignment done on my truck by another garage. I don't accept the apology, and I will never go back into one of their locations again. I dont want anything from them, I would however like the complaint to remain on the Revdex.com sight as to warn others about the horrible service and possible hidden added charges they try and tack onto their service.
