Illegal repo and identity theft
Last month my dog became paralyzed and I had to rush him to the emergency vet which took my car payment. I talked to them and explained what happened. We talked on a Tuesday and agreed that I could pay on Thursday. Tuesday night after we hung up they came and stole my car. It took 2 days to even find out where my car was and now instead of 300 that they agreed I could pay, they are holding it for 1,600.00 before I can get my car back. This was an illegal nonjudical repo that involved a 3rd party that was illegally given my information and now I am stuck without a car and having to beg for rides to work and anywhere else I need to go. I refuse to give up on their dirty, illegal games they play with our lives!

I think we need to get together and stand up against these people. I'm contacting a lawyer myself to see if there's anything that can be done for the way I was treated by them and how much money they are causing me unnecessarily.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
The worst auto lending company ever! I was in the hospital on life support the day after being out of the hospital sensible Auto took my vehicle. I called the next day to make the full past due payment and recover my vehicle just to learn they tacked on a extra $560.00 OVERNIGHT. Then denied me my right by law for a copy of the invoice for the $560.00. They waited until I replaced the engine, which was thousands of dollars replaced the battery for $500.00 and more work to take it. They are scanners with no morals or respect for life.

SCAM
This company bought our account from the car dealership and has been charging us for automobile insurance. I have had progressive insurance since driving off the lot. I have called and emailed them several times and the guy tells me they are oversees and need me to send a media email. He had me call progressive on three way so they could directly email him my declaration.Long story short, I tell them to just send me a copy of the insurance that I’m paying for through them and I will just cancel progressive. Nope, he can’t do it because there is no insurance. This is such a scam!

WE should all get together and try to shut them down. They are doing so many people wrong but if no one stands up this will continue to happen.

Today Marks One YEAR of being with this companyim a very passive person and I tend to let things go unsaid rather than having conflictThe first thing I should have mentioned was I paid my car note twice before I even got car last year, I was told I would be refunded when I let company know about it, let's just say that was the last I ever heard about that situationtotal of $Couple past months I been looking to trade my car in and from different dealers I was told that Sensible Auto Lending has not been reporting to credit Bwhen I called and asked them about issue I was told they werebut on my credit report it shows that they only reported ONE time since I had the carWhich is not cool I am a young mother trying to better my credit to buy a house for my kids, so your not just robbing me your robbing my childreni did try to contact this company several times about issue and I just got passed around like a hot potatoso now im here, but what I do find funny is when you a day late with your payments they do call your phone throughout the whole day until that payment is payedAlso I see that they took (2) loans out last June this needs to be off my credit report soon or I will have to take this to the courtsi would really like someone to contact me and settle ALL matteri really feel I should be refunded for the weeks I got charged for car I did not have as well

As I posted in other comments, I am reaching out to a lawyer to find out if there is anything I can do because Im being ripped off as well by these people. There are so many complaints about Sensible and yet they continue to cause more heart-ache then help people. If the lawyers won't help, then I will go to my contact in the media and do my best to bring wide spread attention to them. I would like to have as many people behind me as possible when I do that.

Customers BEWARE of this lender...You are better off dealing with a loan shark to finance your vehicle but until ppl stop doing business with them...they will continue to be rude...ill informed and absolute rip offs! Alot of ppl don't have excellent credit and are deseperate for a car loan but there are other companys out there that will work with you[redacted] is one of them...do your research and ask more questions when u start tge finance process but avoid this lender if at all possible

Dear Ms [redacted] , Sensible Auto Lending apologizes for the experience that you hadplease be advised that you on 10/07/you entered into a retail Installment Contract and Security Agreement with a Connecticut dealership That dealership had the desire to sell its rights and assign the contract to Sensible Auto LendingSensible Auto Lending accepted assignment of this contract and the Contract was on a weekly payment structure for WeeksWe were contacted by you prior to the second payment being made At that time you requested to pay your loan on a Bi-weekly cycle We made that change and on 10/we took a bi-weekly payment It is important to understand that this accelerated you loan and put you ahead until her next bi-weekly payment This means that the system will be receipting in two payments and the corresponding interest for those two paymentsWe also allow a customer to put anything over the scheduled payment to principal only This can be done, however, it does not accelerate the payments due and a payment would be due every week if we selected this option In June of we received a refund of $ for a pro-rated refund of an extended warranty contract that you cancelled We applied that amount as a principal payment to her account On September 26th you requested to move to a monthly payment cycle This is an acceleration and our system views this as taking four weekly payments and taking the corresponding interest of those payments We would be happy to apply any overpayment to principal We are in agreement that you have been very diligent with your loan We are sorry that you feel like we are giving you the runaround As you know it is not in our best interest to alienate any of our customers, and especially our valued customersWe are sending you a copy of your ammortization schedule, so you can see where you are at currentlyPlease feel free to contact us if you have any further questions

Avoid this lender!!! Horrible representatives that are disrespectful and argue with their customersWhen you ask to speak with a manager you are handed off to other reps or they just hathe phone...legitimate issues with their service, payments etc are not resolved for the customerThey never have accurate payment history info and their systems always have problemsWorst lender ever!!!

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Although I paid to get my vehicle back, the reasons that they took the auto was unethical We both were upset and were talking nasty to each other I was told if I did not apologize my aujto would be repossessed again (mind you that I put the monies into the acct as they asked me to, only to find that they did not take it out as stated on my contract with them) Personal feelings should not be used in a matter such as this and that is exactly what happened I do not think I should have to have paid for a towing fee, repossession fee or any other fees related to this illegal repossession I would like my monies returned to me, if at all possible Thank you Sincerely, Nicole Holley
