Brendan A., the lead installer showed up exactly when they said they would and had our whole unit installed with his team in a few hours This is our 2nd time using SSI (different houses) for HVAC replacement and couldn't be happier Very professional and friendly people

Had SSI install an air handlerBy far the best price (all others were ~50% higher), very prompt (next day) and punctual service, polite and dedicated technicians (stayed until pm on Friday night to try and finish the job) and very customer focused sales teamThe technicians had a little issue that prevented the completion of the installation until Monday morning, but the company more than made up for it by offering an extra free year of maintenance (in addition to the one free year that was included initially)Highly recommended!

Our furnace failed recently and Clint, from SSI, came to diagnose He determined that the fan needed to be replaced He came back to install the new fan and the system was still not working properly He got the furnace to work until he could come back with the new part The new part was under warranty!!! No additional costs!! Clint was very professional and I would highly recommend him to service and repair your HVAC system!!

When it became obvious that our HVAC system needed to be replaced with more efficient and reliable equipment available today, I researched the various HVAC companies that service the Ashburn area and contacted different companies that had positive ratings and reviews Representatives from all firms came out and reviewed our needs, took measurements and ultimately came up with quotations to do the complete job I had everyone bid on basically the same set of specs that included a single stage ton, SEER compressor unit and a 80K BTU, 96% efficient gas furnace with multi-speed blower I received quotes based upon HVAC equipment from different manufactures Each manufacture offers certain bells and whistles, but in the final analysis, they would all work well and should give years of serviceAll the quotes were within a 22% window, which made it even more difficult to make a decision I was, however, particularly impressed with the quote from Service Specialties Incthat was extraordinarily detailed as to the precise equipment and every step of the installation process Their quote, which was strangely enough almost exactly the average price of all quotes, also included several nice upgrades and complementary twice yearly system checks I decided to give the job to SSI and they were willing to do the job in stages to work in concert with another contractor working in the same physical spaceOn the day of the installation, two gentlemen showed up promptly at 7:and worked diligently all day and finally finished up around 6: They were very pleasant and answered my questions without any hint of annoyance They spread tarps to protect the flooring and carpets and cleaned the work area nicely when finished I inspected their work when they were finished and was quite impressed with the job they didAbout a week later we arranged through SSI to have the Loudoun County Inspectors come in to sign off on the work The Gas Inspector came first, spent about minutes and left with a sticker on the furnace and a farewell “looks good” The Mechanical Inspector came next and my wife accompanied her to the basement utility room where the unit is located The inspector, was very impressed with the installation and pointed out to my wife some of the safety and ease maintenance features, some of which are not required by code, that the installer had added to make servicing easier and protect the system from evaporator drain overflow The inspector assured my wife that in the residential HVAC world, this was about as good as it gets That was very rewarding in that the conclusion of all the so called experts is that the quality of the installation is the most important factor in overall performance and reliability of any system, even more so than the manufacture of the equipmentBasically we are very pleased with our experience with SSI and our new system, which should save us substantially on utility bills for years to come In particular we would like to thank Chris Charbonneau for his pleasant demeanor and the excellent quotation and Joe Sechler and his assistant Isaac Molina for the superb installation jobStewart C***

We have utilized Service Specialties, Inc(SSI) for many years Simply put, their work is excellent We purchased our home new and we experienced numerous problems with the HVAC systems utilized by the builder After some research we decided to try SSI Their technicians are dependable and very professional, as is the office staff It was obvious to us that the technicians didn't just try to sell us new systems, but worked with on the original units, increasing efficiency and extending the life of the old units During our most recent annual A/C inspection, the technician (Clint) found bacterial growth in the unit He showed us the problem, what to expect, and presented options for us to consider to remedy the situation There was no hard sell; simply options for us to consider It has been our experience that this type of professionalism displayed by Clint is typical of SSI employees We have also utilized SSI for our plumbing needs We would recommend SSI without hesitation

When they installed the home's heating and air-conditioning system several years ago, it was Prompt, Friendly and Excellent service, hauled the old system out, cleaned the area better than I could have done I have their twice a year maintenance, they're excellent! Here when they're supposed to be, always wear shoe protection for my floors, fast and dependable Something else - when I've called them, incredibly helpfulAnd when I messed up the programming on the system, they sent someone over within an hour or so to reset it for me and walk me thru the set-upAlways Excellent, Friendly, Dependable service - and their yearly maintenance plan is extremely reasonable

Good Morning, MrM*** and I have received your message about the complaint submitted to you by *** *** *** I spoke to *** *** on Monday (6/29) after the incident on Friday and Saturday He did send an email (6/27) to MrM*** and it was
forwarded to me as this is my department that he had a complaint about I also told *** *** that MrM*** received the email and was sent to me because this was my department He describe to me what happened and I spoke to all parties involved to investigate the story After speaking to the plumbers out at the house we determined to refund the cost of the service call he spent ($39) on Friday and apologized for the experience he had and assured him that this is not the way we do business I also wrote a letter and I sent it to him on 7/ When I emailed this to him I did misspell the email address therefore it delayed the response and I resent it telling him on (7/9) and showing him that I sent it to a wrong email address I also have attached the letter we sent for you to review what we found and what we were going to do.
