Our house is over years old and has two heating systems - radiators and baseboardsThe baseboard heating system has two zoneI called *** on the 2/to come out and check the fill valve and add water to the system
The service person (J) came by Tuesday for an hour to look at the system and then came back on Thursday for hours to "fix" itOn Thursday he left a system that still wasn't working but:
- He managed two walked through the entire house with dirty/snowy boots messing up hardwood floors and carpets
- Left twice for over minutes each to pick up equipment he should have brought with him in the first place
- Despite explicit instructions he worked on the zone that is isolated and shut-off
- We paid $
Coming back from a business trip on Thursday to a still non-functioning systemSomewhat annoyed, I called *** on Friday and got to talk to Bronson ***Bronson was courteous, but didn't seem to be interested in doing right - no effort to re-mediate the unprofessional service of J However, we agreed to have another service tech (Cosmin) come outCosmin did what I asked *** originally to do, he filled and bled the system and had it up and running within three hours
Bronson *** attempted to charge us for the three hours Cosmin spent to fix J's botched up service callBronson's unwillingness to fess up to the failure, his eagerness to "cover costs" over customer service are enough for me to distrust ***We will be looking for service somewhere else in the future
