I am still giving Shaw Academy 5 stars. Just offer so much for a person to learn from.. this time I am taking social media marketing. its out of my comfort zone- will take time to understand it-course does go 12 weeks- better for me to get the hang of it.. Just felt that this is a course I myself and others can benefit from a lot
I had just started the course this week. The choices of class times are very convenient since we all have busy lifestyles. the content is easy to understand and allows for review after each session.
Awesome course ("Graphic Design" by Shawn Academy). Each time I complete a lesson I feel excited and inspired to create and can't wait for the next class to start! Thank you! Love the teacher's enthusiasm and experience.
This is out of my element on what I wanted to do career wise. But so far this course has been helpful and the instructor is very knowledgeable and did a great job with presenting the material.
I have been suffering through Shaw Academy's horrible customer service for a month. I signed up for the free course in Sep 2019 without realizing there was automatic renewal. They never sent me any reminder but when a month passed by I found my credit card charged for $49.99! I immediately contact them but they did not have any phone number in United States, only had an email address. I wrote them email and like any other businesses that earn money by charging customers who did not know their fine prints, they denied refund by showing me their 'terms and conditions'. I was surprised because originally I thought Shaw Academy was an ok website with business model on loyal customers, rather than trying to exploit potential customers by their free trial offer and then harvest them by silently charging them monthly fee when they are not aware how to cancel!What was more crazy was that their customer representative kept on repeating that they cannot refund due to terms and conditions, however they could offer me a free 6-month membership by just confirm by email. As a desperate customer, I said fine please offer me a free extension. You know what, I checked my bill and found they now charged 3 x $49.99 which is $149.97 more for this 'free membership extension'! I am very frustrated, sad and angry. How can United States allow this business to operate in United States? How many customers are being exploited! Please refund me the money!

Dear Student,Hope this email finds you well. Please be informed that the Free Trial membership does not end by itself. Once the trial period is ended, you'll be automatically moved to a paid monthly subscription even if you do not access the course. Hence, It is required to cancel your membership from your member area if you do not wish to continue which we inform on the registration page before entering the payment details. Having checked your account, you had subscribed to the "30 days free trial membership" on 04-Sep-2019. Hence, you have been charged on 04-Oct-2019 after the trial period was over. I also do not find any cancellation attempts made in your account before the renewal due date. I see that you have canceled the subscription after the renewal. Please be assured that you will not be charged again for the membership. You will still be able to access all our courses until the end of the billing period. When you signed up to Shaw Academy Free Trial Subscription Membership and inserted your payment details with us there were terms and conditions which clearly layout that there will be subsequent billing cycles for your subscription until the time you decide to cancel as such we are unable to proceed with your refund request.
However, as a gesture of goodwill, the support associate provided a 6 months extension and later extended the offer by 12 months free of charge and we were awaiting the customers confirmation which never happened until the last payment. We also provided the steps to cancel the subscription which was not done. Hence, this is not a mistake of Shaw Academy. However, I have forwarded the refund request to the finance team as an exception now and this will be processed in the next couple of days.
Only having the first of 2 classes, I'm beginning to understand the triangle more. I've read about it several times and get a little more each time. I haven't been able to get out very much in the last month with my job taking up most of my time. With the lost of the hour, doesn't help either. Time I get home, eat a bite, its already almost dark. I love sunsets and here in Georgetown, Ky. there isn't many high hills in order to get a great sunset setting over the hills. I'm looking forward to the upcoming classes.
I have just started my investment/trading lessons, but I like it so far. A good way to learn something I have always wanted to understand. I would highly recommend.

The class was simplified and easy to understand. I definitely recommend the classes they give. I plan on taking more classes in the near future.
