First and last time we will ever use SYCN. My husband is an auto dealer and knows exactly how transportation services are supposed to work since he does this regularly. We purchased a vehicle from Texas and needed it shipped to Alabama. This was going to be a 2-man job to assemble the heavy/bulky extras on this vehicle upon pick-up. We made that very clear to SYNC when we hired them. They assured us two men would be on the job. On the day of pickup we contacted the driver directly and, to our surprise, he was by himself. We immediately contacted SYNC about this and they gave us the runaround. Finally my husband told them if they didn't have two men to pick up our vehicle that same day we would cancel and request a refund. They told us we can cancel but they would withhold a portion (around two-thirds) of our payment that was originally paid in full. Unacceptable. If it had come down to it, I would not have hesitated to file a dispute with my credit card company for this. Luckily for them, they found two men to pick up our vehicle. Once we received the phone number to the newly assigned driver, we stayed in contact and everything went smoothly from that point forward. I saved this driver\'s phone number as we will use his transportation services directly on our next transport and cut out the middleman SYNC. Do yourself a favor and find a transportation company that is directly involved. You save time, money, and a lot of hardship. I wish I had researched SYNC more before I hired them. Their actual website will only show positive reviews but if you dig a little deeper, it's easy to find an extensive amount of negative reviews and fair warnings.

I rejected offers from other companies relying on this. The man handling my booking then delayed for five days and claimed he couldn't find anyone to take the job. I had to call back repeatedly to find out what was going on. He claimed every day that he would have something soon, and told me not to worry. The day before I needed the car to be picked up, he claimed to "finally" discover someone to take the job, conveniently for $100 more. I was extremely annoyed but accepted this out of desperation. The company that finally picked up the car picked it up 5 hours later than scheduled (picking up at 5pm, when I told them it needed to be picked up at noon at the latest). They then delivered TEN HOURS later than promised, at 10pm the next day. As a result I missed a day of my vacation because I could not leave until the next day. The whole experience seemed like a criminal enterprise. I would never use this company again.

Since my car was in Florida and coming to Seattle, I was surprised with how soon I got it.

One of the worst shipper's around. I needed a car shipped from Toledo to Seattle Alaska Marine Terminal. I was promised pickup on 1/13 or 1/14 and told it would take 5 days to get to port. [redacted] (XXX-XXX-XXXX) told me this and then charged me $2300 for the transport, which is extremely expensive. Well now 6 days later the SUV is in Spokane and the truck needs to stop for regular servicing!! And the car won't get there until Monday, missing the Friday barge and delaying the car's arrival another 10 days!!! Do not trust what they say. They are be misleading to get business and [redacted] also said that Ship your car now "owned" their trucks. NOT!! They are simply brokers who took their cut - $900 and are paying NAO transport - $1400. What a rip off!!
Go with Coast to Coast shippers, it's family run, they own their trucks and wanted $ 1380 to ship it. ( I would have gone with them, but they could not pick up until Jan. 28th)
The vehicle did not get to port until Wednesday. Also arrived at port with a broken side view mirror!

Update: So I spoke to [redacted] at ShipYourCarNow who informed that they did indeed own some of their own trucks and he told me that NAO transport was "under their umbrella". So they were working on picking up my truck yesterday from NAO and putting in on another to get there in time. Well, it is still sitting on the truck in Spokane because, get this the contract with the broker is incorrect. So much for being "under their umbrella." I am not impressed.
I was also offered a "refund" to remove my negative review!!!
This company did a great job. I worked with [redacted] and can reccomend him. We ran into some transporter trouble that stopped the shipment. [redacted] got hot on the chase and found me another transporter for the same price and delivered in the same time frame and from a tricky location. He kept me informed the whole time and was responsive. A+ ratting from my experience.
Avoid this company at all costs. Worked with the salesperson [redacted] and I feel like I was mislead. Told me he was going to get in touch at certain times and then never did. Once I decided to take my business elsewhere I was verbally abused on the phone and called a liar.
The one bright spot was working with a manager and customer service to make sure no charges went through, they were very apologetic and helpful.
Once I thought I was done dealing with this company the same salesperson called me back (once I had explicitly told him I was done working with him) to tell me that he had a spot on a truck all ready to go. After telling him to leave me alone he thanked me for paying him even though he didn't have to ship my car.
Very unprofessional sales people, ended up getting in a yelling match. Do not feel comfortable giving this company my business.
Also, if they respond to this review and say it is a competitor trying to muddle their ratings that is BS. I was a real potential customer that had a very terrible experience with one specific sales person.

Their driver Mike was also very professional and kept me informed on when my car would arrive and showed up on time.
