I have a current magazine subscription with this company that will end in August of I received a call from them a couple weeks ago asking me to extend my subscription which I agreed to at the momentAt no time was I told that I could not cancel or that there was a cancellation feeI called today May 7, to cancel the upcoming new subscription that should begin in August of this year and was told that I cannot cancel the subscription that has not even started yet I was told that I have to wait for a supervisor to call me back and that they would only tell me the same thingI stated that it was not said to me that I could not cancel and or that there was a cancellation fee I also asked for a recording of the call to prove that the agent did not mention anything about not being able to cancel I do not intend to pay for this subscription and I do not want it to affect my credit I am prepared to take them to court if I have to because I believe that I should have the

They called one day and got me to agree to magazine subscriptions under a sweepstakesAfter one or two weeks I decided I didn't want the service anymoreThese people don't care about all thatThey just care about your initial agreement to pay them for the magazinesThe initial agreement is for several years’ worth of magazines and you cannot get out of itThey will say they already contacted the magazine providers and there is nothing they can do to cancelOn top of that, they are extremely rude when you say you do not want the service anymoreTHEY ARE PREDATORS! I called VIP Readers Service in to cancel ACCT UP*** was told by a VIP Representative I could not do so because the publishers had already been notified, this was a lie so I stopped all talks at that timeBut did return numerous unpaid VIP statements writing "Cancel Subscription" across themOn 4/1/VIP sent a statement for $I assumed for the remaining balance of the first six months of magazines and again on 8/15/a letter for $payment in full or $current balance if paid all at once the Acct will be closed and removed from collection listHere's a problem with VIP Readers Service the company does not appear to professionally set up these accounts and keep in contact with the publishers to tract not just payments but also assure shipments are madeWithin a month or so the publishers begin flooding you with renewal offers which should be automatic thru VIP Readers Service not only are the publishers wasting trees VIP Readers Service do not know

Hi, I signed up for the readers subscription service on Feb22ndI don't know why I signed up, the lady on the phone was just really nice and I ended up agreeingI was out somewhere shopping and so I was busy doing other things and they read some minute long spiel and I finally got off the phoneThey told me they were Publishers Clearing House, and I knew I had an account with PCH so I trusted the ladyShe said they were going to bill me $every two months for two years
Anyway, two months go by and I never received any magazines but I did receive something in the mail and it was from this company, and it said they were going to bill me $a month I was charged again on April 4th for forty bucks, and still hadn't received anythingI called the company

When I spoke to a representative from *** ***, I was under the impression that I would have monthly payments of and receive magazines for months After I spoke to a representative today, because I have made a payment for the prescribed months and the rep tells me that my payments are for months I informed her that I wasn't told it was a month payment and she stated I was stuck with this payment until the end of the month She stated there was nothing she could do I have never did business with any company that doesn't have some type of opt out policy I spent a lot of years working on getting a decent credit score and I don't want my credit ruined by company with such poor customer service and us deceitful tactic on consumers Please assist

I received a phone call from Primetime Reader’s service on Oct The woman identified herself as from Primetime readers Service During her spiel she said that I could get magazines of my choice plus a diamond watch fore the low price of $payable at the time of the call and then $would be electronically withdrawal from my account the following month

I was told by this "company" that I would be receiving total magazines for my subscription Not only do I NOT get all magazines, but in October of I was contacted by them saying that approximately magazines in my order would no longer be delivered and that they wanted to send me two different ones, which I set up I contacted them on 11/21/and was now told I have two separate subscriptions, which was not explained to me The lady I spoke with today said, "well didn't you see your bill go up" in a very rude and unprofessional tone For this reason I wanted to cancel my "second subscription" but they told me I couldn't do that as they already "pre-paid" the magazine companies
