This company employs deceptive sales practices and outright lies via telephone solicitation for magazine subscriptionsI was led to believe I would receive free magazines/gifts and make a one-time payment for other magazines that I wantedThen, I was audio recorded saying yes to a monthly "contract" of numerous payments which I did not realize I was being tricked intoThis is a morally deplorable scam, and I am now being told there is no way out of the "contract"I am also being harassed with threats of my account being sent to collectionsThe company will not permit me to cancel the subscriptions/account

One year ago I got a call from a lady with an offer to subscribe for years of magazinesI told her that my plan is to move back to Europe and that I can only pay for monthsI’ve asked her numerous times if I would have any problems canceling my subscription and she said “Obviously, you just need to stop paying for these magazines and they will stop coming” I remember being pushed to say yes numerous times when I spoke to her on the phoneAfter months, I called to cancel my magazine subscription and some very rude lady answered the phone and told me that I’m not allowed to do thatI told them that they have misguided me and tricked me into agreeing to sign up for their magazine subscription and I wanted them to stop sending me magazinesSince they haven’t done what I’ve had asked them to do, I contacted my credit card agency and asked them to put a stop on their monthly payment to this unethical companyNow, the company is harassing me almost every day with their phone calls

Primetime Readers Service called late one night after I had retiredI am an Army Veteran in my 80'sThe caller referenced Publisher's Clearing House's fast arriving Prize date and appeared to be part of that program and that I would be in a better position to win if I bought magazines with themI did; only to discover later there was no associationIn April I was able to contact them to cancel my orderMs*** *** refused to accept saying I had passed some designated point in time of no return and that I was now committed to a 23-month subscription totaling $I tried to cancel by mail (May 2018) to no availPrimetime readers has been very persistent in their efforts to collect the remaining money based on the original agreement made even though I have tried to cancel on multiple occasionsThey claim to have made a commitment to the magazine companies that they cannot cancel and are threatening to send me to collections should I continue to refuse to pay I am also

I got a call from them on December 8th at 7:50pmRepresentative stated the my accoiunt was set up for automatic renewal and that next month it would be $per monthI told them to cancel all accounts and they said that they could not do thatI told them that I would just put a stop payment on it at my bankRepresentative said "*** off and have a nice day."
Company called back again Dec 10th at 3:and gave me the same spielI told them no and to cancel againShe stated that was not possibleI told them about the call from Friday and the acted shocked and apologized, but then hung up right away

I was called by this company because they had put me in a finalist sweepstakes list and I was out of the who could win a car or some other things, but I had read the reviews after I bought the magazine and realized that people are saying its a contract and you can't get out of itSo I looked at their site more closely and it states they include on their presentation an accurate and clear description of all publications, term of service, costObviously they didn't clearly tell me it was a contract and I couldn't cancelAlso the sweepstakes are out of 20,000,in winningI would like to cancel my subscription and get refunded the money since I purchased it today and have not relieved anything yet

Worst customer service everI am taking legal actionAs a consumer it is my right to cancel a purchase, especially one that has never been on timeI have reported this company to my bank and they are taking actions against this clown showNEVER deal with these people

My contract with this company expired back in They called me on Sept to bribe me into more service with themthey said that they would issue any payments until November but me being a student I decided that I don't want to continue with the serviceI herd from other complaints that they use different names such as *** ***, and that if you don't pay your bills or try to cancel with them the will threaten to take you to court or they will issue a penalty feeI don't want to have any to do with this service anymore so I want this new service canceled ASAPI didn't even gave them my new credit card info since I don't like to issue that kind of information on the phone

I wished I would have read these reviews before I signed up with them They are attempting to sue me because I won't pay them $or so When they called, I was asleep and I am disabled so I was under the influence of some medications that make everything blurry I thought I was just accepting the contract I had just extending it a few months or up to a year or so, I don't know, but now they are suing me and I have no earned income and can't pay my bills as it is and yet they keep calling trying to scare me with a lawsuit Stay away from these people Please!
