October 10, 2017 Thank you for contacting Diversified Consultants, Inc. (DCI). DCI is in receipt of Mr. *** complaint stating he was unaware of the account and never been contacted by DCI in regards to it. Mr. *** requests the account be removed from his credit report and with agreement of the creditor not selling or transferring the account. Having researched the matter, please note the following: On 5/23/2017, Time Warner Cable placed the account with DCI for collection in the amount of $929.23. On 5/24/2017, DCI mailed an initial collection notice to Mr. *** address providing him the right to dispute. DCI attempted phone contact with no success. On 9/5/2017, DCI received notice of Mr. *** disputing with the credit bureaus. At that time, DCI placed the account in dispute and updated the credit bureaus accordingly. DCI has requested validation documents to be mailed to Mr. *** address. DCI will not attempt any further contact with Mr. ***. Should he have any further questions or would be interested in resolving the account, he may contact DCI and an agent will assist. Thank you for allowing me to assist with this matter. 31, 2016, Sprint placed an account with DCI for collections on a balance of $DCI mailed Mr*** an initial letter on August 4, 2016, regarding the account balance. In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, DCI submitted the account to the Credit Reporting Agencies as an open collections account on September 14, 2016. On October 4, 2016, DCI received a payment of $300.00, closing the account in full. DCI updated the account status internally as paid in full and updated the Credit Reporting Agencies as paid in full, which is an accurate reporting of the account. We are unable to located any calls made this year to the phone number ***It is a possibility that it is a different company named DCIIf the consumer can provide the entire telephone number they are stating we are calling from, we would be able to research this matter further
