This look like a spam company.
They called me with saying they deliver energy to [redacted] and will give me 10% discount. They were trying to get my gas connection id so they can switch me I guess.
I asked her where she got my name & number from a the information she had didnt match the [redacted] database and they had no other info. After I asked too many questions she hung up on me.

I would like a refund of 70.00 dollars for the month of December. The difference of what my bill should have been if they did FLAT out lie to me about what my bill would be.  The resolution for me would be a 70.00 refund to me or my account. I want 70.00 dollars back any way they want to do it....

That is the 70 dollar overcharge for their gas above what my bill should have been from my original company if they had not lied and switched me. Please call me if I can better explain to you how and what they did and why I know 70.00 dollars is what they owe me.

resolved because:
this is not there 1st complaint.  The did everything to get me to release my claim. They offered a so called rebate of 100.00. I refused, they owe well over $750.00 at this point.  They stated they had no intention of paying back any amount over the 100.00.

I was told that my energy bill would be lowered if I was with Smart One Energy instead it gradually increased to almost double. Smart One was deceptive when they implied that my bills would decrease. I have cancelled the service but still have back due payments.

I received my December Washington Gas statement and noticed a significant increase so I reviewed in detail, only to find in small text that a 3rd party supplier, Smart One Energy was billing me. So I contacted Washington Gas and they told me that I need to contact Smart One Energy and I did. Apparently the account was setup over a year ago. I went ahead and cancelled in the meantime. Since calls are supposed to be recorded, I requested the recording. The rep told me that it would take 3-4 hours and he would call me back. Never heard back. So a week later I called back. For one I couldn't understand the guy, heavy accent. I told him the situation and what I was requesting, he just kept reassuring me that the account was cancelled and I had nothing to worry about. And that wasn't the issue, I wanted to know how an account got setup in my name to begin with. So I asked to speak to someone else. He told me there is no such recording, and since I cancelled they couldn't provide any additional information. So here I am with a balance with Washington Gas, and not sure what else to do. But I know I did not setup an account over the phone.

CAN ANYONE TELL THE PROCEDURE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE? Since I also gave my account information to Smart One. Now I want to RESOLVE this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Review: Someone from Smart One Energy called me at work selling me their service as a Natural Gas Supplier. I have always been with [redacted] and they([redacted]) are also my Natural Gas Supplier. I never had any billing problems and they have billed me reasonably (between $18 a month in mild climates - $40 a month during cold climates).

Smart One Energy promised me that "there will not be any changes to my account with [redacted]" and they will also make "my bill cheaper every month". I did not see the reduction of monthly costs. And now, suddenly I have this exuberant $53.90 "POR Commodity" fee on top of my $38.57 consumption that was a typical bill I get in the winter time with [redacted].

They NEVER told me that there is this huge charge now on top of my bill. They specifically said "there will not be any changes to my account with [redacted]" and "my bill will be cheaper every month". How can my bill go from what it was with [redacted] to $93.00??!!!! Does that represent "my bill will be cheaper every month"????

They should not be in business. I am not paying that $53.90 and they need to write that off. That is a resolution I want.Desired Settlement: I am not paying that $53.90 and they need to write that off. That is a resolution I want.

Further, I don't want to do business with them anymore. I contacted [redacted] by email already. I also contacted Smart One Energy by email.

Review: The company switched my account from Con Edison to Smart One llc without my authorization and charged my banc Account, moneys without my approval.Desired Settlement: Company to to refund money that they my charged Con Edison account for services that I did not authorize.

Review: The company called me and asked for some of my energy information, which I gave them, then they asked me if I wanted to switch gas providers. I declined, but have been billed the last several months. I called them to cancel, they said OK, they did not cancel and I still get billed.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the last few months I have been charged.

Review: Smart one energy (third party Gas supplier) signed me up without my permission. I called the company and they said they talked to my husband Jose G. and he gave them our Gas service agreement number which is a requirement in order to establish service (which I don’t even know) which is not true. My husband asked them to call back and talk to his wife since she is the sole name for [redacted] company gas provider. They never take to me. On 12/* I received a letter form [redacted] which stated effective 12/**/15 my Gas supplier has change to Smart One Energy LLC. I called Smart One Energy and the Customer service rep was very rude when I talked to her about cancelling my service and she said my cancellation will be in effect 12/**/15 which I was not happy with since I requested it to be cancelled immediately. I take to the supervisor Kevin D[redacted] and he was just as rude, always talking over you. I told him that Jose never authorized them to be our gas supplier and he said that Jose give them permission by giving them our service agreement number form [redacted]. I advise him that was not true, my husband nor I don’t know our service agreement number. I ask him if I could hear the recorded message allowing them to be our service provider and he said he would research it and if he found out we are lying then he was going to press charges against Jose. I believe they are using scare and threatening tactics to get you not to cancel and using fraud to get you to sign up.Desired Settlement: Cancel my service immediately and to report them for fraud and threatening tactics.

Review: On June **, 2013, I contacted Smart One Energy canceling my service with them because it was of no benefit to me as using this service was extremely higher than the energy cost provide through Washington gas. However, unbeknowst to me, they continued to bill me.

Recently, I noticed this billing and I contacted them to correct the problem; they pointed the finger at Washington Gas stating that Washington Gas continues to send them my meter readings. I have been trying for two days to resolve the problem but have been unable too.Desired Settlement: I need billing adjusted from June to the current time.
