The necessary paperwork miraculously showed up in the mail shortly after the complaint was filed; however, the account was not "paid off and closed on September 25, 2015" as SLS statesThat is in direct contradiction to the statement from SLS indicating "since the *** account did not transfer with an outstanding balance..." (transfer was 6/1/2014)The response is a perfect example of SLS not having their records straightThe documentation they sent me after I filed the complaint was an original and was dated 2007! Yet it took them over months to locate and send that and during that time gave a different story every time I or our lender contacted themNobody at SLS really knew what the situation was, nor did they take the time to research it until the complaint was filedCustomer service was abominable to say the leastThankful to not have to deal with them further

Contractual or not, the fact that I have to pay this appraisal fee when it had nothing to do with my rejected request is what frustrates meWhether you were within your rights or not, per the loan modification package, it was not ethically right for you to order the valuation since I did not qualify for your modification programsBy the way, the valuation you ordered was garbageI perform these for a living for my customers and they are at no cost and are better in every way
Also, taking months to reach this decision shows terrible customer service on your partYour customer service department is slow, uneducated and unprepared to handle the simplest of tasks and it would be nice to receive a call back when I leave messagesIt would also be nice to hear back from your organization as to items you say are missing (especially when they were all delivered multiple times through multiple mediums)
Your organization is inadequate at best and should not be handling any aspect of lending, much less consumer home lendingBelieve me, I am going to check every aspect of my application and decision deadlines and if anything is out of compliance you and whatever regulatory organization that governs you will hear about itmonths for a response, something had to have been dropped there

The Home Owners Loan was sold from American Service Corporation (ASC) to the current loan servicer (SLS) without my consentASC continued to provide monthly mortgage statements despite by Chapter bankruptcy which was discharge in August I hereby contest that the policy set forth by ASC should continue by SLS as wellNote: I was not allow the opportunity to contest the transfer of the loan and henceforth new policies set by the new mortgage company (SLS)
