We started this claim in JanuaryIt took FIVE months for them to issue the first check and lots of begging and threatening of lawsuits for them to release the second checkAt this rate we won't receive the third check until DecemberThis is a crying shame that this company is allowed to do this to people all the while demanding their mortgage payment is made timely every month for a home no one can live inShamefulAbsolutely shameful Complaint Response Date bumped because: Holiday

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I never received an over payment check from SLS for seven hundred ten dollars or any amount for that matter I received a check from [redacted] for four hundred odd dollars but none from SLS regarding the over payment Please send me a copy of the cashed check with my signature on it I doubt you will find it because it was never sent Where did that claim come from? [redacted] said SLS should send me one because its the law You know what I told them? I laughed and said you don't know this company Again, you have all those dates which are great However, if you listen to the tapes of my concerns to your executive services and their assurances that this was getting taken care of it doesn't jive with your story Another thing that doesn't jive is the fact SLS keeps dancing around is why was there negative reporting on my credit in the first place? Why whenever I called SLS the first person I would talk to stated that I was delinquent on my payments? How come you didn't document those conversations in your response? Doesn't make sense does it? Send me my over payment amount please and when do I expect to see it in the mail? I never asked for the loan modification and I never asked for the second either as SLS claims It was a one page letter in the mail that was sent to me simply saying if I wanted to extend the interest only period to sign on the line No fees, no this and that, no fine print and certainly no putting my payments into a suspense account billing me for a higher balance while allowing your billing department to wreak havoc on my credit Don't see my point yet? Include why my credit was taking a hit in your story and then see how well it makes sense Poor communication between SLS departments and what I view as confusing charges and double charges is what I am very unsatisfied with your answer You claim that you did everything by the book but you are leaving the errors of your department from your response Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:SLS will not resolve any issues with me over the phone on the November 10th communication they told me to use the Revdex.com as a means to resolve this issue That is unacceptable by itself, however we will set that aside for the moment What I am requesting is industry standard and for what ever reason they refuse to corporate My initial complaint was they would not refund my escrow account funds to me and were crediting it towards the loan pay off amount Through the Revdex.com we thought we had this resolved and SLS sent a new and CORRECT payoff statement on 10/14/which did not show the escrow funds as a credit However, as the loan funding process goes the new lender requests a final pay off statement prior to closing, which happened on 11/4/ SLS sent a new payoff quote which now bring us to the this complaint The new payoff quote although did not show the escrow funds as a credit, now had $4,added to pay off statement to cover property taxes They had over $7,in the tax escrow account So I called to say why are collecting $4,for property taxes when you have over $7,already in the acccount They said that is company policy and go through the Revdex.com if you want a different result Now their most recent payoff statement on 11/18/which they have provided to solve this issue, we now have come full circle, they paid the property taxex and now have a balance $2,and SLS most current payoff statement shows the escrow balance as a credit to the payoff amountwhich was point of the first complaint.I WANT MY ESCROW FUNDS REFUNDED TO ME IN FULL AND NOT CREDITED TO THE LOAN PAYOFF AS YOU ARE WELL AWARE, THIS IS INDUSTRY STANDARD PRACTICE YOU HAVE SLOW PLAYED, BAIT AND SWITCHED, AND REFUSED TO DISCUSS ISSUES OVER THE PHONE RETURN MY MONEY BACK TO MERegards, [redacted]

I received a second denial from SLS Assest, listing the same incorrect and erroneous information that was to be corrected from the first denialIn addition they to the incorrect debt to income ratio, they added crdit card payments that were not mine as well as doubling my first mortgage amount making it appear I have to more debt than I really owe I also requested proof of the amount I had drawn out of line of creditI didn't draw down $93,I only took $They as yet refuse to provide proof of the additional $2,They also stated I am delinquent monthsI am not delinquent at all in any payments which management agreed that I am current and have never been late in all the years of this loan It has become apparent reading the vast number of complaints filed against this company that there is a pattern of consumer abuseReading the complaints, one after the other they all read very similarIt really does appear to be a systematic abuse of the banking and consumer finance lawsI can forward you the copies of the denial letters, both list different amounts of debt to ratio and list differing months in arrears, again I am current I don't believe at this point this is just incompetence as so many complainants suggest, I believe this is out and out fraud! please respond back, [redacted]
