[redacted] placed an order with our company online on April 20, for quantity one (1) Washer Remanufactured Timer Control - Part # ERThis order was fulfilled and shipped via USPS on April 21, 2016.Mr [redacted] contacted our Company via email on August 30, stating that the item was defective and would not spinFor defective items, we must follow manufacturer procedure so our Customer Service Rep asked for Mr [redacted] 's model and serial number from his applianceOnce he provided his model and serial number, it was clear what the issue wasThe timer that Mr [redacted] ordered was not listed for his unitThe correct timer listed for his model number per the manufacturer directly, is part number This voids the manufacturer warranty on the part as the part was not made to work with his unit in the first placeWhile the item may have worked for a short time, the specs for the part were not made to function with the specs of his unit and this causes failure normally immediately after installation, however in some rare cases, the part may work for a while before failing completely.Our Customer Service notified Mr [redacted] of this and apologized for any inconvenience this may cause for himUnfortunately, we were unable to offer any replacement or refund on the item as the manufacturer would not approve a warranty replacement and we could not accept an installed item back as a return as per our Standard Return Policy.Our Customer Service did everything as per standard policy as listed on our site as well as the manufacturer's policy and proceduresUnfortunately, we were unable to give Mr [redacted] what was desired as this breaks standard policy for our company as well as the manufacturerAllowing a replacement for an item that is not made to work with his unit to begin with would only cause the same issue to happen again.We apologize that we were unable to completely assist Mr [redacted] in this situation, but we do hope he understands that the manufacturer does not honor replacements for items not made to work for a specific unitWe do recommend as well that he contact the manufacturer directly to confirm the information that I have provided in this case.Please let me know if you have any further questions, or if anything is unclear.Thank you, [redacted] ***

Good afternoon, I am sorry for the inconvenience you have encountered with this part that you received from our CompanyWe have confirmed with the manufacturer of this part that you received a functioning replacement of the original part installed in your unit. The item is an aftermarket
replacementThe manufacturer ensures that the items are redesigned to fit. The element does appear to have been redesigned by the manufacturer and is wider than the originalAlthough there is a size difference, this is still made to fit and function just the same as the original and shouldn't cause any issues at all.Since your original element has been installed for some time, it is more formedThe newer element will be wider than the original but they are made durable and will still be able to be installed with no issuesI have seen many installation videos for these elements that state the new element will be wider, but can be bent to installMany techs go through this when installing dailyIf you do decide to keep the part and have it installed, there is no reason why it should not work well for youOur parts do come with a year manufacturer's warranty as well should anything happen in that time frame! Though from our email communications, it does sound like you are not interested in keeping the element that was shipped to you, we have emailed you a PrePaid return label to mail back the element for a full refund once returnedPlease do not install the element or plug it in at allWe emailed you with a PrePaid label days ago to return this part but that original label has been voided as it expired due to ageWe emailed you with a new label yesterday and we do request that you use this oneWe have not heard back from you regarding the labels though we have tried to email you several timesWe will need this part back to have a full refund issued for your purchaseIf you have not received the PrePaid label via email, please reach out to our Customer Service team and we will be happy to assist. *** *** opened a Dispute with *** on November 12, requesting to cancel and expected a refunded, I advised Mr*** that; “Unfortunately this order shipped and I'm unable to stop the shipmentIf you do not wish to keep the order, you can refuse the package upon delivery”

*** was also concerned regarding the status change of his order to “refunded” I apologized for this and advised Mr*** that;“When a customer opens a *** Dispute before the order ships, it will change the status to 'Refunded' because that person is in a *** dispute”
Regarding this *** Dispute, the last message that was posted was when I advised Mr*** that he may refuse the package upon deliveryThis case was automatically closed on January 7, because no further action was taken by Mr*** within the day period
Mr*** then filed another Dispute with *** on January 7, claiming the charge as “Unauthorized Use of *** Account” I was able to show *** that this was delivered to the customer with the address given and that we tried to work with Mr*** in resolving the issue

Refunding money the business charged me a month ago, which it should never have charged, and now apologizing for it does not make amends From Speedy Appliance's Yelp reviews, dealings of this sort are its regular practice Charging people for goods it does not have and stringing them along as to when the good are likely to be delivered, and then not delivering on that date either, is not an acceptable way to conduct a business I want my complaint to remain posted on the Revdex.com website to warn others of its dealings.Regards,

The company refused to issue a complete refund. They have offered and applied a credit on their books. They say it is too late to issue a refund, so they issued a credit. However, I don't understand why I would want a credit or why I should do business with a company that won't refund the full purchase price of something that was not compatible. The amount of time involved is not material to me.I did suggest they could find another part for me to regain my appreciation, but they were not able to do so. Admittedly, it is a difficult part to find, but working with them was also extraordinarily difficult, so I considered it a reasonable exchange, but they were not able to perform.I appreciate the offer of a credit and I do wish the new people well and hope they treat customers better than I was treated. However, a fund refund was always the appropriate remedy and that is still true

This is the same thing they told me that I had used it I never even unwrapped the board from the bubble wrap I knew before it even arrived that it was the wrong one that's why I ordered another one from another company (Because this company did not carry the one I needed)immediately
I will up load or forward the sales receipt from that company ASAP My wife and I are looking for it now.I know they are rip offs I am not some poor person who really needs the money back but there are people who try to do things themselves out there that sometimes order the wrong part and then realize it to late so they send it back without even opening it.To be told it was used and disposed of.I should of read the reviews for this company before I ordered from them,I now realize I am not the only person that has had problems with these crooks and I am given it my all on the internet review sites to make sure they don't do it to anyone else.This is definatley a company you need to watch.They are liars and thieves and they send a picture of whatever it is I see no serial number etc just a blurry picture of a plastic board.If they are so thorough with keeping records etc why wouldn't they have a picture of a serial number that's on the board?So every poor soul that returns something to them they have one picture they use over and over to say the people used it.Very sad in today's economy that a company would rip people off

Speedy Appliance is wrong. They continue to argue that they sent the right assembly for my appliance. They may have sent the right assembly "number" but not the right assembly. I have explained this to them and sent photos. They continue to argue and will not absorb the cost of return or promise a full refund
There proposal is that I return the assembly they sent to me, at my expense. Then, they will determine how much refund they will "allow, based on their policy." Their policy won't pay for return postage, deducts restocking fees and other fees and is therefore disingenuous and inadequate.
They insisted I waste more time on a repair forum trying to learn how to make the wrong assembly fit and work in my appliance, which is absurd. They cannot seem to understand this or accept it as illogical, which is very frustrating. If I order size shoes and a vendor sends shoes mis-marked as size but obviously demonstrable as size and they are smaller than my feet, why should I visit a forum to try to find out how to make the shoes fit?
I have since ordered another assembly from a different vendor, and it IS as marked and DOES FIT my appliance perfectly. It functions perfectly. It was the same number. The assembly sent by Speedy Appliance is NOT THE SAME since it is missing a critical component, as I have told them numerous times, including with photos
I have offered to return their assembly to them at their cost if they also promise a full refund. I have their assembly, new and still in the clear plastic sealed bag. The bag has not been opened and the part has not been installed. They refuse to pay for return shipping and refuse to agree to a full refund
Since I did not order the wrong assembly I should not have to pay to return the wrong assembly. For them to expect me to do so is wrong. Look, if I order a television and a vendor sends a watermelon marked, "Television," should I have to pay to return the watermelon at my expense especially when they are not agreeing to a full refund???
Speedy Appliance seems to hold that it is my fault their packaging indicates an assembly other than that contained in the package. Quite the contrary is true. They are responsible for having the assembly or part match their packaging. They keep arguing that the manufacturer says its the right part. This is false. The manufacturer might state the assembly number is the right number but the manufacturer has no way of knowing what assembly is in the bag. They only know their part number. The appliance manufacturer has no responsibility for Speedy's assembly being mislabeled.
Obviously, since I ordered the same assembly number from a different vendor and received the CORRECT Assembly, the number is correct. It's Speedy's assembly that is wrong. They refuse to accept this, even with photos and multiple explanations.
I have attached the email correspondence with Jessica of Speedy that shows how ridiculous they have been and that they do not promise a refund of any kind...only what they determine according to their policy, if anything. Based on the illogical handling of the case so far, how could anyone expect them to be fair and reasonable, now?
Their customer service is terrible. Based on my experience with them, I would not recommend them to anyone
