Situation handled. Customer said they would notify Revdex.com that everything has been handled to his satisfaction. Customer's contact was off yesterday and nobody ever spoke to him about results
Thanks!

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:1) This issue was not resolved through the AG of the State of **. The ** AG's office helped try and mediate the situation and that mediation with George D***; Owner of Stamford Subaru, did not result in a resolution 2) On November 28th, I called the Stamford Subaru Dealership, the lessor on my lease contract. I called them at the direction of Diane S*** at *** The purpose of the call was to return the leased vehicle that day, November 28th, 2017, to Stamford Subaru, at the instruction of ***. When I called I was told that Stamford Subaru would not accept a lease return that day. I explained the urgency of the matter and was transferred to Luke C***, George D***s Business Manager for his Stamford Subaru Dealership in ***, CT. I explained to Luke C*** that I needed to return the lease that day. MrC*** told me that I could finance the car through Stamford Subaru. MrC*** asked me information about my income and employment, as well as other personal information. He then provided me with a quote to purchase the car. When I told him the quote was higher than the previous quote I received from ***, MrC*** put me on hold and came back with a new quote. He told me he would be in communication with *** and that it would not be a problem. He said that he would draw up the paperwork and that I should call him the next day, November 29th, 2017. I called Luke C*** on November 29th, and was told that it was his day off. I left a message for him and did not hear back. When I did not hear from MrC*** for days I went into the dealership and asked for MrC***. I was told that he was too busy to see me that day. I returned to the dealership shortly thereafter and told the receptionist I would wait there until MrC*** could see me. MrC*** came out and said he could not help me with the financing that day. Later I would learn that on November 30th, *** had written off the car. To my knowledge no one at Stamford Subaru notified *** that they had drawn up the finance paperwork for the vehicle or that I had contact them to return the car and they had turned me away3) MrGeorge D***, owner of Stamford Subaru, states that my account was sent by *** to collection. *** did not send my account to collection, they charged off the on November 30th, 2017, without sending me one notice of money due.4) MrGeorge D***, owner of Stamford Subaru, states that no dealership in the State holds leases. Stamford Subaru is the lessor on the lease contract that I signed for the vehicle reference in this Revdex.com complaint.5) If MrGeorge D*** is stating that the lease is held by ***, why did his business manager make hard inquiries to my credit report and draw up paperwork for me to finance the car at their dealership at lease end? Why did George D***s business manager represent that they had the authority to assist me with the purchase of the lease vehicle if now he is saying the lease is owned by the bank.6) To my knowledge the AG of the State of ** did not communicate with *** *** on my behalf or communicate with me regarding any such communication.7) MrGeorge D*** states that I "simply need to pay off the loan through financing or some other means". I attempted to do that starting on November 28th, at the suggestion of the Business Manager Luke C*** of Stamford Subaru. In communication with the AG in the State of ***, MrGeorge D*** stated that he had the finance paperwork with ** ***, which had been drawn up for me by Stamford Subaru Business Manager, Luke C***, pursuant to our November 28th, telephone conversation. When I requested that George D*** send me that paperwork, which his business manager had refused to give me as promised, George D*** said he would send me that financing paperwork which had been drawn up on my behalf by his Business Manager, Luke C*** and ** ***. When I did not receive my the finance paperwork from MrGeorge D***, I requested it again. He stated that he had sent it to the wrong email address and that he decided that he would not resend it to me. Based on the misrepresentations by George D***s dealership, Stamford Subaru, my credit was ruined.8) MrGeorge D*** states that my issue is with ***. I do not agree. Including, but not limited to the reasons above, my issue is with Stamford Subaru and *** *** ***, both parties to this matter.9) MrGeorge D*** refuses to take responsibility for the damage caused by the actions and omissions of his dealership. For all these reasons and more I reject the response from MrGeorge D***, owner of Stamford Subaru
Sincerely,
*** ***

Customer gave us $cash on Saturday for a deposit on a vehicleWe deposited cash as
standard operating procedure on Monday morningAfter working with banks, we could not get him approvedWe cut him a check back on MondayHe was complaining that he wanted cash back but we do not keep cash of more than $in house at any given time and this is our policy and has been for ten yearsThis complaint is ridiculous

Customer came in with modifications to his car. He brought his own oil and we did not overfill it as he said. Also, overfilling it would not cause a problem. He wants tires and an engine? What is he talking about? The car is fine and he's not welcome back
here. *** ** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I was never told pending inspectionThe pre owned manager admitted this when he stated that he told the assistant manager to call me right away when he found out he told me it would be 23,periodI worked previously at a Subaru dealership and never took it there for an evaluation so where they got that information from is beyond meI never got it appraised at the current dealership only asked if the original offer was fair and they said yesMy current dealership does not typically deal with off brand vehicles unless they are luxury which a Subaru is notI stated why it took me a few daysI felt wronged and I asked people in the same business and same position if I had a right to speak and was told by numerous people that the move they pulled was a bait and switch and very wrongThe modification of the exhaust is a Subaru part that is in subarus catalogThe tail lights would not cause emissions to fail in ** and as far as in ** I am in familiar so I can not comment on that matterI was told that the difference I had to pay was to put on a new exhaust and certify he vehicleNeither were done the car is being sold with the same exhaust and not certifiedTwice I was lied to about involving moneyOnce on the value they would give me and what my money would be used forI was never offered a ride to pick up the car simply told you can pick up the vehicle if you don't like itI had already returned my plates whether I liked it or not I can not drive a veh with no plates according to law in ** or ** or any other stateThe A+ rating is nice but does not change he fact that in this situation I was wrongedReputation is only as good as your last customer

*** was looking at of our Chevy Equinox vehicles. *** discussed with our salesperson, Marcial that she needed a vehicle with more room than her sedan because she needed space for a stroller. It was clearly explained that both vehicles were Front Wheel Drive. She decided on
the model because she said that she received some additional money from a family member and wanted that oneWhile at the dealership, she was given a *** report that clearly states it's "front wheel drive". Her insurance binder clearly states it's "2WD". Her extended warranty shows that the checkmark for "4WD" is not checked. The buyers order that she signed states "FWD". All of this is proof that she knew that the vehicle is Front wheel driveWe have tried to help her trade out of it but she is not accommodating to the inventory we hold and she wants more expensive vehicles without coming out of pocket. We'd be happy to help her but she needs to be reasonable. Thanks,George D'AngeloSubaru Stamford

My apologies for this delayed response.  We had resolved this issue through the Attorney General of the State whom [redacted] had contacted.  [redacted] came in to inquire about purchasing her car but missed her appointment and never followed up.  The vehicle went into collections with...

[redacted] whom she had the lease with.  No dealership in the state holds leases.  They are held by banks.  The attorney general contacted [redacted] and they told [redacted] exactly what we told her, she simply needs to pay the loan off through financing or some other mean.  Her issue is with [redacted] not us.  We can not do anything about her credit inquiry or that she did not pay off the loan.  She failed to take action.  This is 100% between her and [redacted].  We told her we could help her get the loan but it did not work because of a missed appointment and schedule conflicts.

I'm not sure what else to say to Mr [redacted].  We gave him every dollar his car is worth.  There were modifications that were not properly performed and it cost money to fix these to make them legal again.  All numbers given were pending inspection.  The inspection was a problem and he's unaccepting of it.

Customer is a disgruntled former employee. He has problems with many members of our staff and makes our employees feel uncomfortable. We are working with Subaru corporate for him to get serviced at another local Subaru dealer and the Service Manager, [redacted] is happy to manage the...

situation and in between with Us, the Subaru dealer of his choosing and his aftermarket warranty company. Beyond that, we would like if he would not enter the premises of our dealership again. In our nine year history, I have never banned a customer, but this man makes multiple employees uncomfortable and we are always trying to create a comfortable environment for our clients and employees. Thank you.

The complainant was told $23,200 "pending inspection". These vehicles are often modified by the young men who typically buy them and this case was no different. The complainant had put on a non stock exhaust which had a leaking fabricated knuckle. In addition, the headlights and tail lights were...

blacked out all in violation of ** and ** law. These modifications would have caused it to fail both ** emissions testing and NY state inspections. After he dropped it, we told him of the situation and offered him to pick up the vehicle.
A week later, he called me to complain of the situation. Why it took a week, I do not know. All in all, he had an opportunity to take back the car. He knew of the inspection prior to a final value. He used to work at a Subaru dealer and currently works at an [redacted] dealer. We gave him more money than both of those dealers and he's still not happy.
I'm very sorry but I think that our reputation and A+ rating speaks for itself in this matter. This is simply a young man looking to get more out of a car that has nothing left to give due to the modifications he has made and we have to undo.
I wish you good luck.

I Spoke to [redacted] and we refunded her deposit back to her credit card.  Last we spoke, everything was satisfactory.

I am rejecting this response because:The offer made by [redacted] Subaru still leaves us with no car that can be towed, (the sole reason for the purchase) and debt of over $10,000 which includes our trade in, tow kits, finance charges, etc. We did nothing wrong but believe the sales people at [redacted], who confirmed the Forester could be towed all 4 down. We Should not have to carry any debt because their information was wrong.[redacted] Subaru made a mistake and they need to take the full responsibility of their error.
