Review: When I initially signed up for the website, I spoke to a representative on the phone to get all the information. I asked her how I would receive a refund if it didn't work out, and I was told that if I didn't find a house through their website, I would receive a full refund. I was never informed that I would need 5 denial letters from homeowners as proof that I contacted them and was unsuccessful. I did what they said to do, which was to send letters to homeowners in the mail. I sent about 25 letters out, and I didn't receive anything in the mail back from any of the homeowners that I sent letters. I utilized the website for four full months, trying to find a house and was unsuccessful. I called to request a refund and the company is insisting that they need written denial letters from 5 different homeowners as proof. Since I didn't receive anything back from anyone, I don't have the proof they need. If I was told that upfront, I never would have agreed to sign up for the site. The bottom line is that I was unsuccessful in finding a home through their website and now they owe me a full refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for not finding a house through their website, which is $199.

Review: They advertise that they will help you "Rent To Own" a home which is in pre-foreclosure, but do not provide any help after they have collected your money, other than to provide you with a list of properties which are in pre-foreclosure, which is public information anyways; and even then, the quality of the search results is often inaccurate, and the customer service representatives are dismissive and often rude.Desired Settlement: $200 membership fee

Review: I am in complaint today against this company for bad business practices ie: Refund of monies for a program that was lead to be one thing and greatly turned out to be another. When I asked for a refund of my $199.00 after only(3) days of giving them the money, they said it was a 90 day policy up to a year to receive a refund . I did not/could not utilize their products and services, therefore wanted a refund . I called and spoke with a supervisor and he explained that there would be a $50 termination fee/ break of policy fee! It again was less than three days since they took payment from me!!!The customer service reps were less than favorable and helpful !I can't believe what a "RIPOFF" this Business is, DO NOT take part in this Business' scheme! They advertise that they can get you into a house that is being foreclosed on or for sale by owner-pretty cheaply, however ,once they have you signed up, it's a very different deal! Hence I wanted a refund! It's a joke!! Buyer Beware!!!!P.S. read the reviews on this company before getting involved with them, I WISH I DID! Also, if you need to cancel, just put a reverse charge request into your credit card company stat to get your money back!Desired Settlement: I would like my $199.00 back that I spent on this company!

Review: Standard Capital US is a scam. The customer service representatives lie to you. Plus they tell you that you have a 90day money back guarantee yet refuse to give you your money back when you ask for it. I hope no one else gets robbed by these lying thieves like so many trusting, innocent people did.Desired Settlement: I was promised my money back by Standard Capital US within the first 90 days now they are refusing to give me my money back. I want my promised refund!

Review: I informed the representative I had to be out by 4-14-13. He told me that he would not sign me up if he was not sure he could not make this happen. With this agreement I signed up. The website clearly states the process takes 90 to 20 days. But I did not find this out until after signing up.

I called the very next day spoke with a manager and explained this. They sent 5 rental homes and no more.

On Friday 4-5-13 I called back and I was told by another representative to wait until Tuesday to call about my refund.

Today, Monday 4-9-13, I spoke to a manager who decided not to give my refund back until July 3, 2013. He told me it was possible to move into a home in 7 days even thought that's not what the website says.

That's their refund policy. I didn't get anything and I need my money to move now.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.

Review: This company is a SCAM. They claim to have access to pre-forclosure homes. They will charge $200.00 for this "service." Their online listings are not pre-forclosures but people's homes. They also claim that they will refund you, if you do not want to use their services. They will NOT!Desired Settlement: I would like the $200.00 refunded to me and all other scammed customers to be refunded.I believe they also need to be shut down.

Review: I had paid for this service and did not find anything worth looking at in my area. I called and was told I had to wait 90 days for my refund. I waited the 90 days to get the refund and they are telling me I have to have 5 denial letters from the homeowners...I never looked at any home, since none worth looking at. I called and I was hung up on. They are not willing to refund me. I want the refund. Just because I do not have any denial letters should not give them the right not to refund me. Review: Standard Capital had a listing on South Florida Craigslist stating it would assist you in finding a pre-foreclosed home to purchase. They provided an 800 number, which I called and was told a listing of homes is available for purchase for $199. I was told to research the properties and any I was interested in, I was then supposed to go back to Standard Capital website and they would send a letter on my behalf to the seller. The list that was provided was out dated. The areas available weren't anywhere I told the agent I was interested in purchasing. It was 100% money back guarantee if I was unsatisfied for any reason. I am very unhappy and feel the services are misleading. I set up an investigation through my bank to get my money back and it was denied because they only cover up to 15 days after the payment is made. I contacted Standard Capital directly and will not help. Thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: I would just like the $199 refunded back to my Wells Fargo Account they were paid from.

Review: Standard Capital US is advertising on craigslist for pre forclosed homes. They show pictures of a home with a monthly price and the qualifications needed to take over the morgage payments. A sales person will tell you what boxes to click on their web site and when asked if there would be any problems if you choose to cancel, they tell you no, all you need to do is call and they will refund your money.Turns out that you can not cancel until after 90 days and even then there are 7 steps to the cancellation process and you will still have to wait an additional 30 days for your refund. This company is false advertising and misreprensenting themselves during the sales process.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refundeded immediately. $199.00

Review: On Friday May 31, 2013 I called a phone number associated with a rental property. At which time I was told there was a application/service/listing fee of $199.00. This was to cover a listing of foreclosed properties in which I could rent. I was told that every property was vacant. Upon registering my information and pre-qualifying, I viewed the listings and did a site visit on several properties in my area. I discovered not all the properties were vacant. I tried calling customer service who were closed on weekends. On Monday 6/3/13 I called back to inquire, I was told "some people just dont want to leave". I was also told I had to contact the properties owners myself and that Standard Capital USA did not do anything when it came to renting the properties. When I asked about what I had been told on the initial 'sales' call, I was told, "sometimes information is just not up to date".I was mis-lead and when I asked for my money back they said I had to get 5-7 rejection letters and wait 90 days before it would even be reviewed. I did some further investigation and found that this company is scamming people of their money. They dont do anything but list foreclosures "which is public record" for you to waste your time with. They are in no way affiliated with the home owners or mortgage companies and have no right to rental offerings.I just want them to refund my money since they did not provide the service that was presented and agreed to.Desired Settlement: I want the $199.00 refunded back to my credit card.

I am rejecting this response because: This company has nothing to do with the rentals or transfer of these properties. I can find information on my own if I so choose, the 'sales' rep I initially spoke to falsely explained the 'program' and mis-lead me to believe something. As for accepting terms after I was registered, this is incorrect, I had to click accept before I could even complete the registration process.

Review: I contacted this company over 90 days ago. I was looking at a property they had and was informed the only way I could view more information was to sign up and pay $200 which would be refunded if after 90 days we didn't find a home. I signed up. 90 days go by and I am now informed of all these regulations that were not given to us upfront. If I knew of these regulations I would have NEVER signed up in the first place. I have to give 5 denial letters. Which I don't contain due to the fact we didn't find anything of interest nor did we find anything else in an area we were interested in for our price range. Therefore, we didn't request any other information. I was hung up on twice by customer service reps and once by the supervisor of customer service. I asked one of the customer service reps if he saw the notes on my account and his exact words were " I do but it means nothing to me it's not my fault you don't understand the terms of service, have a nice day" and hung up the phone. Extremely rude and uncalled for. I didn't want to have to go through the entire speil again there should have been notes on my account. No one has helped, they have been rude to both me and my husband and have refused to issue us a refund. I don't have $200 to just throw around. Further more was not informed of the regulations and after a 24 hour time frame didn't have contact from the agency to look at the property then only to find out it was gone. Then was told "these things happen". There should have been some sort of inclination that the property was either being viewed, bidded on, under contract etc. Nothing, so they recieved my $200 for no assistance and 90 days of hell!Desired Settlement: I want my money back and immediately. I have a family to take care of and would like to move forward. I didn't want to get nasty with this company because I have found out that gets you no where. I have been patient and waited their 90 days. Now it's their turn to return my money for faulty up front information, lack of information, and extreme rudeness.

Review: I was searching for apartments on craigslist and the information for this company came up Standard Capital US. We gave them a call and the rep on the phone explained to us that we would be able to find homes and rent them and buy it later. So I was given a username passcode and told to go online and find the templates to send the letters. I sent 30 letters, two envelopes came back vacant and never heard from anyone else. We waited for an answer for 4 months and heard nothing. I called to get my refund and the reps started to get very rude, and told me that I'm losing 20% on my original $200. I couldn't understand why I needed denial letters and why the original rep told me that I can cancel at anytime, which was a lie. So now it seems that I will never get this money back and it's too late to put a claim with my bank because it's past 60 days. These people are crooksDesired Settlement: I would like my full amount of money back!!

Review: Greetings, I started with this company on July 4,2013. Unfortunately, they were open, if only I knew what I knew now about them. They promised me that if I do what the instructions said do I would be guaranteed a house in less than 90 or my money was guaranteed back. I spent $199.00 and followed the instructions , unfortunately its been two months and still no response from any home owner. I'm at 37-38 listing that I mailed out and ..nothing from anyone! I even went by some addresses and what ever home owners are there stated that their house is not foreclosed or they bought it, then then some houses are not even what they are advertising , next some houses are not even actual addresses. I'm really starting to believe this is SCAM! They're rated an F with Revdex.com...WOW!!! I certainly would like my money back and would not wish this on anyone. I've been taking time out of my schedule and life to have to go through this. It sucks I tell you! I'm emotional stress because I've been looking for a home since I moved here to Raleigh . After reading reviews about this company, everything that I mentioned about this company, has seem to happen similarly to others. and just given me me more a clearly picture of what I'm dealing with. I'm sad.Desired Settlement: $199.00

Review: Was told from representative upon signing up that THERE IS A 30 Day guarantee. If you don't find a place or aren't happy, call and request a refund. I have mailed over 100 letters, driven many miles looking at houses. I called to request my refund after never hearing anything for any viewings. The agent said that there is a guarantee but its after 90 days. I said that is not what I was told and requested a manager. I was told there was no manager available. I requested a call back and never received one. I called again the next day and again was told no manager available. Requested yet another call back and have not received one yet. They said that the phone call is recorded and they need to review the phone call. I told them ok but I expect a call back. It's now a week later and no call. I called again and told them I was going to notify the Revdex.com if they did not refund the money. Again told that the call needs to be reviewed. I told the if I needed to contact the Revdex.com I would. Please help with this matter.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the fee, all the postage and ink printing these bogus letters and the gas for all the driving around. Thanking you in advance.

Review: On April 19, 2013 I purchased a listing for foreclosed homes in the area from standard capital in the amount of $199.00 with the assurance that if I did not find a home on the listing in 90 days the money was fully refundable. I found serval homes listed more than once for different prices on the list but I proceeded and sent out the letters to the home owners as the web site describes. I have sent over 20 letters with no response to any of them. I did get one back marked undeliverable. When I called for help and advice I was told to keep sending letters and the person on the phone sounded annoyed with me. At that point I requested a refund and was told I had to wait 90 days to get a refund. After 90 days have passed I called again requesting a refund since I still had not gotten any responses to the letters sent. It was then that I was told that the request had to be in writing and was told to go to terms and conditions on the web site and follow the instructions. The person would not go over them on the phone with me so I ended up having to call back again with more questions after reading the refund policy. I feel the policy is unreasonable at best. No one responses to the letters sent but they want me to send five denial letters from banks or home owners to get my money back. I did not get one denial letter back. I must send a written letter to them in a certain manor to get a check back in the mail. I paid them over the phone with a credit card, why can't the refund be done in the same way? I did not need to request their services in letter form thru US mail, why must I cancel it that way?Desired Settlement: I would like my $199 back. This company has poor customer service and very Ambiguous refund policy's. I feel the refund policy is unreasonable and unfair.

Review: I was told when I signed up with Standard Capital US that if I did not find a house with in 90 days that I could receive a refund. Well it has been 90 days and now they are making up excuses. I sent out over 50 letters to supposedly people that were interested in selling their home to get out from under it. I received one answer back as that they were going to try and keep their house. All of the other ones either did not come back or most of them I received an envelope saying the house was vacant or no mailbox or return to sender. I called several times during this process and was told that this was unusual so I kept sending them to no results. This is no way to run a company.Desired Settlement: I want my refund as was told to me when I signed up for this business.

Review: I answered an ad in a newspaper on the promise that I could buy a property on a rent to own basis. I paid a membership fee of $199.00 to get all the listings of said properties. I went to see these properties, sent required contact letters and even inquired to realtors whose sign was in the yard selling it. I have been told that it’s not possible to purchase these homes as this company claims. Most homer are either vacant or they are still occupied.

Review: I found this company online as I was looking for a foreclosed home that I could buy cheaply. This company; their website and sales person I spoke to, said that they help people with finding listings in their area. All the listings were sold, foreclosed years ago and purchased, or never foreclosed. In speaking to the representative and on their web site, they claimed they would refund my money guaranteed if I didn't find a home. I did not find a home and called in July to have my money refunded. A women, who was quite short tempered with me, told me to go to their web site and do what the directions told me to do. I did that, wrote a letter with all the necessary information and sent the letter "US POST certified". I have not hear a word from them. I did find a youtube video of a gentleman who was also, scammed and other complaints on the company. Then, I went to your web site to see the Standard Capital US is rated D-. I want my money back and others to be protected against them.Thank youDesired Settlement: I want my $199.00 back in a refund!
