Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:In the last months Flatrate, a Revdex.com member, has had complaints lodged against it It is not difficult to understand whyIt is because Flatrate is unable to find the time, nor does it care, to properly address reasonable customer concerns We have a claim against them for over $4,and Flatrate's response is to offer to pay only $for their negligence They're asked how it could be fair to offer a cheap single user home gym replacement for the semi-commercial grade two user multi weight stack gym system they broke, and they thoughtlessly answer that they get to solely decide what is similar and like kind We had to pay $1,to purchase "full replacement value" insurance from Flatrate and they want to pay a value having nothing to do with fully replacing the item they broke They want to pay the market value of our gym, which includes depreciation That was not what we relied on when we paid them their premium, that was not the deal they entered into Even if Flatrate should be believed, which it should not, still Flatrate has never even once stated their reasoning as to why a replacement system should be depreciated by 1,300% to equal their perceived value of the system they broke In any event, Flatrate has a replacement value contract, which is clearly stated on the face of the document.Flatrate could care less about the logic of their position They insist on a copy of a receipt showing the price I paid for my gym system years agoThe punishment for failing to provide that? Even though nothing in their contract obligates me to do so and even though their contact is a "full replacement value" contract which has nothing to do with the original purchase price of the unit, is to offer me any amount of money they arbitrarily choose to pay But this Revdex.com member can then extend their position to allow them to pay nothing if they lose an entire shipment if the customer can't prove what they paid for it This is absolutely ludicrous and is not "Better Business" It is so ludicrous that even Flatrate did not do so in offering to pay for other items they broke during the delivery process; those items were paid on a full replacement value basis, without regard to receipts or depreciation Why? Because they were worth a few hundred dollars, mostly zeroed out by Flatrate's $deductible But on this expensive replacement item, now they take out their illogic to argue they get to pay an amount that does not fully replace the item at all Flatrate should be removed as a member from the Revdex.com Such a business should not be permitted to hold itself out to other unsuspecting consumers as a Revdex.com membrer, using that status to cheat them when Flatrate breaks expensive personal property It is shameful for Flatrate to treat its customers in this fashion, to be so negligent in moving customers' property, and then to fail to comply with its contract in replacing damaged goods.Thank you for your attention In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] The proposed refund is satisfactory to me, but I have not yet seen it appear in my [redacted] statementPlease keep this file open until I can confirm that I have indeed received the refund Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The business in question has not been cooperative at allOnly upon my persistent request to the contact people that I wanted to talk to the management about the serious events and robbery in my own home I got a call from someone who stated that he wanted to resolve 100% of the issues, and wanted to hear a confirmation of the events He said he wanted to be sure to cure the problems accordingly and make me happyThe issue is not happiness is to be sure that upon moving the client would not suffer financial damages from the move nor be prevented to see the activities, as one of their employees 'barricaded' my entrance to my own Bedroom, avoiding me to see that he was reviewing my closet, and opted to open the Barney's box ( double box), taking the necklace therein, leaving behind the boxes( without the most external cover). The same individual who identified as 'counsel' simply was not a bit interested in how the 'robbery' was executed, and wanted to speak alleging that Jewelry was not supposed to be in the apartment. The one remark I wish to state, totally prevented by his defensive arrogant attitude was that I specifically stated clearly that closet was OFF limits, clearly indicating that I wanted to select what would go to the Wardrobes from Movers and what would go into Luggage to the final destination. In the rush to hide the theft, the individual inside my BR, who put the mattress accross the door, not allowing anyone to go inside, as I was put as a HOSTAGE in my own apartment, therefore giving time for him to do what he wanted inside that room. The Company is fully responsible for hiring honest, competent, trustworthy individuals, who should first of all follow instructions from the client, and not act upon as Barbarians. That particular individual when 'finished' his task of robbing, then pushing the mattress away, immediately looked for the trash room, when I noticed that, I became even more suspect.Immediately upon receiving the few boxes left at the new location, in opening them, I found the Barney's empty box, when in the morning in the original apartment, the box was left on the top shelve of closet, and specifically it was ordered, and repeated that I needed to say what was going with movers from the area.Management is not only endorsing the theft, they are ignoring my repeated request that I'd rather prefer to resolve the issues than file the criminal complaint.Their response is that they will deal with that, as obviously they are used to such complaintsThere are hundreds of them at Revdex.com, AND NOW I AM VERIFYING, THEY DON'T CAREThey count with the lack of time from clients, who prefer to let it go.In my case, we will pursue the claims, against the negligent business and dishonest management up to the maximum possible Legal procedures. The worse is that the individual responsible for the operations try to be absent from emergency situations like we had, simply NOT responding to emails, and trying to totally ignore the severe issues at hand. That means they endorse thieves they hire, they allow them to keep the own client hostage in their own homes, preventing that a regular Move happensThey are 100% responsible for hiring such thievesActually just ONE of the employees was fully responsible for the robberyTo this date I could not receive the identification of the individual, despite being asked by the Police , the management is keeping such name as defending his actions like nothing happened. In addition to those unfortunate events, their actions following my formal complaint was to totally ignore the fact that whole piles of documents and files, poured from drawers and folders all over were smashed by movers foot repeatedly trying to expedite the moveIn trying to collect everything I had to delay returning the keys of the apartment for days, movers are totally responsible for such unprofessional behaviorCompany tries to justify such unheard attitudes being defensive and creating all types of excuses, far from a serious Business should do.We expect full compensation for the theft and irresponsible behavior from such employee from Flat Fee- they should NOT be in business and cannot be trusted[Your Answer Here] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becaus I refuse to accept these terms as FlatRate is turning a blind eye to the fact that not only did they provide an unprofessional and completely inept team to pack my goods for transfer, they overcharged me by cuftI have already discussed this with FlatRate They have taken no responsibility for defrauding me and making me pay for space which I did not utilizeAs I am once again moving country, I had most of the goods which were shipped from london to Oakland packed into a cuft "liftvan" yesterdayThis is documented for any party to reviewUnlike FlatRate, this moving company broke down the load and utilized all available space to create efficiencies in the containerI did not load pieces of furniture which were damaged by flatRate because the cost of repair was greater than the money I received Regretfully (and directly due to FlatRtae damaging them), I decided to leave them behindThese pieces were:A small antique folding tableA small antique rolling cartA medium sized antique chest with a drop frontA medium sized antique tableA medium sized table with drawersA medium sized bureauA small steel box If these pieces were added to the shipment, they would have been placed in a smaller liftvan Even with these items added, they would have easily remained within the cuft I indicated in my assessment of what my final quote from Flat Rate should have beenBecause FlatRate under-utilised boxes and empty volumes under or around furniture placed in the boxes, they knowingly overcharge me (I have photos as proof)This is coupled with the fact that none of their team physically measured the load once it was in the truck (they guesstimated what the load was by looking at it!)This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable Who goes to the gas station and has someone pump gas for them, just to have the attendant say..." [redacted] ***" Or who goes to a butcher just to have a piece of meat cut for you without a scale and then have them demand $with no proof No one Because it is unethical! Initial charge = 450cuft - £3,289.00Price per cuft charged = £per cuftActual volume used = cuft - £2,266.10Over charges TO BE REFUNDED= £1,I am NOT paying for space which I did not utilized! Period! Therefor, I will agree to the final settlement of $(£260.19) for the insurance value of damaged property and the £1,of overcharges I accrued for cuft which I did not utilize The total amount due to me is £1,Refusal to accept these terms WILL RESULT IN LEGAL ACTION as this is not a negotiationI am more than happy to go to small claims court to expose your business as a fraudI have plenty of written and photographic proof to back up my claims regarding your inexcusable actions I want these funds in GBP (£) and transferred back to the account which they originally came from Regards, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: They did the bait and switch sell you insurance and then don't make good on all the ruined furniture these people are crooks and liars In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The documents that Flart Rate sent through proves my point and negated their position On page of their attachment, dated 42015, their contract states: "Storage @ $180/Month" and "Our price is GUARANTEED and ALL INCLUSIVE" Nowhere in this docuiment does it say the company can chnage the agrred upon price at their discretion - something no reasonable person would agree to I believe their 55% price increase, without my agreement, months after a contract is signed is illegal, and I seek remedy Thank you! I would like overbillings to date reimbursed and continuation of storage at the agreed upon rate It's both illegale and unconscionable to do such a thing as they have tried (especially when the customer is thousands of miles away and obviously limited in capacity to respond) Thank you! Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [This response remains insufficientg for FlatRate's unethical and illegal behavior I cannot understand how anyone there thinks such a thing could be a justifiable thing to do to a consumer Revdex.com, please help or suggest some means of arbitration.] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Good afternoon [redacted] , I understand your frustration and am truly sorry but we have discussed your claim with our general counsel and COO and we will not be offering additional compensation All moving companies are required by law to offer minimum liability at $.60/lb for all missing and damaged claimsOn top of this coverage, FlatRate offers valuation coverage for an additional cost which would have us attempt to repair or replace (with similar kind) any item that could be lost or damaged during a moveWe do not sell insurance and do not act as an insurance company You chose, and signed for, minimum liability but we value your patronage and closed your claim as though you paid for our valuation coverageOn top of this, we offered additional courtesy compensation to attempt to right our wrongsAs of right now, I believe we have sent you a total settlement amount of $We will not be adding more If you wish to seek legal action, please have your attorney contact me Best regards, Brittany T [redacted] Legal and Compliance Office: ###-###-#### Cell: ###-###-#### [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] I have tried to reach out to the claim department multiple times by email and phone after sending in my claim form and have heard nothingIn particular, there were additional items that I realized were lost that I wanted to add, but have been given no recourse to do so as the form states it can only be submitted once. The claims, however, weren't even the central issue I had with the companyI have been waiting for WEEKS to speak with a manager both about the incredibly poor customer service I received as well as the unprompted cancellation of my original shipment date that I had to fight tooth and nail to rectify to avoid a more substantial delay in deliveryDespite a manager never reaching out, it was a general service person who finally helped me out in moving my secondary delivery date up in time (after my first was unexpectedly and with poor reasoning canceled).I expect a manager to call me as soon as possible to address these and a myriad of concerns Best, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We are very sorry for the experience the customer hadThe customer's claim was settled correctly per the terms of the elected coverageThe claim documents are attachedThe weights of the customer's items were greatly exaggerated in order to maximize their claim and courtesy compensation was awarded as well
