Strongbuilt Plumbing And Air did a wonderful job today and the price was more than fairI would recommend them to anyone, in fact, I have, they just replaced my parents water heater

This company prides itself in customer service and quality of workmanship They repaired a leaking main water line that was underneath our driveway I was shutting our main water off throughout the day to keep the flooding at bay They showed up same day to provide a detour line for water to the house so I wasn't accessing the main valve under a pound metal cover times a day A section of driveway was removed in one piece and new piping within a sheath was laid down do avoid tearing up the driveway for future leaks The final pipe layout and interface with the irrigation was times better than what was originally installed There were some delays getting the driveway reseated, but I was happy with their customer service and initiative to complete the project as agreed upon and with quality workmanship

Strongbuilt's technician *** is great, he was ready to drop everything and come take a look at issues that ariseThe installation crew leaves a bit to be desired, they left some mess, knocked over and broke a couple things, and did not inform us that the unit they received for the install was faulty and needed to be replaced a few days laterIm unsure if we didnt say anything that it would have actually been replaced

bait and switch the old classic, offer a free pound of r-that Donovan said cost $a lband lie saying degree is here by Monday, you're a/c won't last thru the seasonI told him that I was moving in a year and called to get that great deal, A/C check includes 1lbof R-He said my compressor was drawing amps and thats to highThe a/c is an old Rudd ton cooling a apox cubic feet working well but I new it was in need of a check up.The technician took the cover off the service ports and compressor and accidentally dropped the apex out of his tool into the running fan of my a/c, I think we all were lucky that no was hurt or condenser was not puncturedDonovan said my a/c was low and drawing high amps nothing he could do here,strong build units carry a year warranty and the warranty is transferred to new owner of my house and before you sell you will have to fix thisTo be clear low on R-and drawing 20amps compressor working harder and he said it's hot also,let's be clear R-at proper charge cools the compressor down and could lower amp draw also, I had an electrical guy check and compressor only drawing Amps per volt leg not excessively highThe guy thought I was a easy *** I believe and he likes the coCoupon because he sells a lot of new a/c from itAlthough my unit is old and a little low he could of charged and maybe sold a little more R-and got it in factory specifications his co may of earned a good customerHigh pressure sales with no intention of customer service is not going to build a great company with a good reputationI have more A/C to check a ton on the main house before I know it Donavan had his helper run inside my house and turn the unit on without making sure my evaporator pump is plugged in and vent block is removed, when they guys showed up The asked for me to show them the where the inside unit were locatedI mentioned that the small ton was operating but the ton was not setup Donovan said no problem they will take care of thatSo much for that, he removed cover to condenser unit gages and amp probe on and said it's low on R-but filter maybe pluggedMy filter was removed because the cooler is on only use top air ventsno return air ducts needed for mastercool ...so much for making sure my a/c is ready to runThis A/C was installed and not running every season but if house gets to humid in monsoon season it's usedI wanted it checked out the coupon special unable to beatno comfort problems, thoughts were it runs a lot when out but no cooling issues..like I said no issuesDonovan said he noticed a white foam coming from service port,told me system was contaminated low on R-and compressor failing recommended strong build A/C againWell buyer beware a coupon special that sounds to good to be true probably is! The add leader worked well for strong builds company but bait and switch did it for them but I'm sure others have fallen for high pressure I got a second opinion and true R-units are going to be more expensive to fix but with recovery methods you still can use them for manny more years to come.my ton is running better with a charge and ton was in specificationThis is what happened to me It's for public information and I don't expect anything from my review, I believe being honest with customers is the best way to earn there trustI will never use or recommend Strongbuilds company for any service

My plumbing problem was clogged drains due to roots in the pipes I was impressed by ***'s professional He kept me informed about his findings and what needed to be done The outside area that needed to be dug up was left after the work as it was prior to the work

After a minor scheduling issue, Strongbuilt installed new toilets and I was extremely pleased with their service They provided the name with picture of the technician coming to my home and a call from the dispatcher when they were on their way to my home The technician was courteous and cleaned up the bathrooms when the job was completedI would recommend this company to friends and would not hesitate to call them for future plumbing work

My mothers A/C quit cooling so we called Strongbuilt to come and give an estimateI stayed with the tech while he made several checks to the outside unitI was told that the compressor went bad and had to be replaced and the cost would be $for the compressor or $for whole outside unitMy mother just can't afford thatSince the a/c was only years old I sent the tech away and called another a/c company for a second opinionKent Mechanical came out and checked it and determined that the system was low on freon caused by a leakThe tech found the leak at the front of the "A" coilHe fixed the leak and charged the system for a total cost of $Why was I told that the compressor was bad by strongbuilt ? Are their techs that incompetent or are they just trying to make money selling new systems ?

The technicians sent were excellent, they worked quickly and answered all of our questionsIf this is typical os theiur work, they will be back anytime we need plumbing or heating/cooling help

Purchased angie list off for A/C check out and one pound Freon for $on 3-30-
DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU'RE A/C UNIT IS ON ROOF AS THEIR LADDER CANNOT REACH IT Went very badly When making appointment for first time, notified them that A/C unit was on roof and should come with ladder Turned up without ladder so had to reschedule Gave me one year free maintenance service contract as compensation Second time said ladder too short to reach roof; could have put another ladder on stairs but said was unsafe and I respect their right not to perform acts they consider unsafe Refunded thirty eight dollars paid but after four months I still have my A/C unit is still not serviced and offer of one free year maintenance voided The service person also wrote up a statement and had me sign it; in retrospect, I should have refused to sign it but I was in hurry and late for my doctor appointment so I signed it, which they will probably cite if they respond to this review I live in two story condo and A/C unit is on roof I have had it serviced before by *** *** twice on 4-7-and X-and by *** on 7-24-13; none of these companies had problems accessing A/C unit on roof and used ladders that reached roof so will stick with these companies in future

My experience with Strongbuilt has been very pleasant*** was absolutely relentless in solving my tankless water heater problem
No doubt I'll be calling him the next time the need arises
