I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until May 1st to confirm no further withdrawals happen and consider this resolved
It's unfortunate because all I ever asked for was what they promised and included for the first three months when they sold me the package - spray plus hydration- and I would have stayed on as a happy customer I definitely!

I signed up for one month of tanning at Sun Tan City on *** I was told I would be billed for one month of tanning and was charged a second month for tanning When I called, I was told that I would be refunded the entire amount of $*** by check and instead I received a check for half of the amount and an e-mail for a credit at their location I have called numerous times and they have told me that they would "pull" my conversation as it was recorded and still have not received a call back They were initially called the first week of *** and I have given them ample time to correct this and haven't received any phone calls back I have made four calls to their office and receive the same response that the manager will call me back within a week and still have not received a response

I have received the complaint from Mr*** regarding his membership purchase with Sun Tan City
On March 14th, Mr*** purchased a month to month open-ended agreement that allowed him once a day tanning services at our Regency location for $per month plus taxPer the membership
agreement that was signed in the salon by Mr***, all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services
On April 1st, the automatic payment for Mr***’s monthly membership processed and was approvedOn April 9th, 2015, Mr*** contacted the Customer Service Department inquiring why he was billed for his monthly membership and stated he would like a refund for the paymentOn this same day Mr***’s membership was terminated to avoid any further monthly membership payments and a half refund and half Glow Card request was submitted for review for Mr***
Upon review the refund for Mr*** was denied per the terms of his agreementAs a courtesy, Sun Tan City has submitted a Glow Card in the full amount of April’s payment totaling $

I have received the complaint from Ms*** regarding her membership with Sun Tan CityOn May 24th, *** Ms*** purchased a month to month open-ended agreement that allowed her once a day tanning services at our *** *** location for $per month plus taxPer the membership
agreement that was signed in the salon by Ms***, all Sun Tan City membership changes do need to be made prior to the first of every month to avoid any or partial payments from processingOn August 30th, *** Ms*** froze her membership with Sun Tan City for a $per month cost to keep her account frozenMs*** unfroze her monthly membership on May 1st, ***On this day Ms*** paid a prorated amount to tan for the remaining days of the month and the $that Ms*** had paid each month to keep her account frozen was credited back to her as an in store creditSince Ms*** unfroze her membership on the first of the month rather than before the first of the month, her freeze payment had already been deducted as noted in her membership agreementOur records indicate that there was no cancellation request made by Ms*** until June 4th, ***, which is why Ms*** continued to see automatic payments for her monthly membershipAs of July 21st, *** a refund request was submitted and approved by the District Manager of the location in which Ms*** tanned and as of July 22nd, *** a check was mailed to Ms***’s address on file with Sun Tan City in the amount of $ Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms*** will continue to utilize our servicesI have appropriately notes Ms***’s concerns and have forwarded them to the proper management team to ensure they are addressed.*** *** *** *** ** *** ***

Again, no apology and this is the first response I've received from them after numerous calls. After fraudulently charging my credit card in December and refunding me, I did say to cancel the account, although I thought it would go without saying to cancel any future reoccurring fraudulent charges. I have been refunded both amounts( one by my bank) but no where in the response does it address when, where, how, and what actions are going to be taken regarding the counts of fraud that occurred including my damages involving weeks without my money, two weeks now without a debit card due to cancelation, time and effort for phone calls, emails, bank issues, etc

My last correspondence from Sun Tan City indicated they would credit me 1/of the monthly fee as a glow card and 1/as a refundNow it appears as if they are backing out of thatI reject what they claimedAlso, it is and has never been the terms of the contract I dispute, it is the fact the sales person lied about the terms and what they meantOut and out liedI was told she would mark down that I did not want a rolling membership and would only be charged for the remainder of the month, despite what the contract saidSo, are they not going to honor their agreement of a half refund and glow card? (which is useless anyway because I won't use them again ever)

Upon reviewing Ms***’s membership, her membership with Sun Tan City was frozen on June 30th, With any frozen account the client is billed $per month to keep their account and the $freeze payments will be credited back as an in store credit once the account is unfrozen
As of May 19th, Ms***’s membership with Sun Tan City was terminated and a refund request for her freeze payment were issued totaling $

Also, on this day, Ms. [redacted] utilized a single visit service...

and tanned in our Fast level equipment.   On August 8th, 2016 we received notification from the District Manager of the [redacted] location that she had spoken with Ms. [redacted] about her concerns and had submitted a refund in the amount of $19.67, due to the reaction Ms. [redacted] had to the lotion that was purchased. Ms. [redacted]’s refund request will be sent to her in the form of a check.   Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms. [redacted] will continue to utilize our services. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I do not think the business should consider my refund as a "one time courtesy" considering the entire transaction was fraudulent and unauthorized.  Please keep this in mind in regards to any future complaints. I find this response satisfactory in that I wanted the fraudulent charges to be reversed and they are being reversed. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

tax. Per the membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Mrs. [redacted], all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services.
 
As of June 1st, 2015 Mrs. [redacted]’s membership with Sun Tan City was terminate. No refund request was submitted because she was in a 12 month agreement, as we do not refund for unused services per the membership agreement.

call list. Per Mr. [redacted]’s request, we have fully removed his number from our system.

On April 14th, 2014 Ms. [redacted] purchased a month to month VIP open-ended agreement that allowed her once a day tanning services at any location for $19.99 per month plus tax. Per the...

membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Ms. [redacted], this Sun Tan City membership requires at least six automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services.
 
On November 1th, 2014 the automatic payment for Ms. [redacted]’s monthly membership attempted to process as noted in her membership agreement. On November 6th 2014, Ms. [redacted] contacted the Customer Service Department for Sun Tan City inquiring why she was being billed for her monthly membership and stated she no longer wanted to be charged for her monthly membership. On November 9th 2014 Ms. [redacted] visited her local salon and request that the balance be removed off of her account and her membership terminated. The salon then contacted the Client Services Department for Sun Tan City and requested that the balance be removed and the membership be terminated. The balance for November was removed and the membership was terminated to avoid any further monthly membership payments attempting to process.
 
To this date, Ms. [redacted]’s membership with Sun Tan City has been terminated to avoid any additional payments. However, since the membership payment for the month of November never processed from Ms. [redacted]’s account, there is not a refund she would be eligible for.
 
Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms. [redacted] will continue to utilize our services. I have appropriately noted Ms. [redacted] concerns and have forwarded them to the proper management team to ensure they are addressed.
