agreement that Ms. [redacted] signed on the date of purchase, no refunds for unused services will be approved. However, as of May 4th, 2017 [redacted] membership with Sun Tan City was cancelled and it was agreed that a Glow Card would be submitted for Ms. [redacted] in the amount of $35.84. This Glow Card has been approved and emailed to [redacted]It is our hope that this resolves [redacted]'s issues and she chooses to utilize services again in the future.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I spoke with [redacted] at [redacted] ###-###-#### option 4 who stated they will not refund my membership since they did not receive the funds, she stated Sun Tan City would have to refund.  Please note, the products and equipment provided by [redacted] is not the same as Sun Tan City.  I am respectfully requesting a refund from Sun Tan city please.

membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Ms. [redacted], all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services.  As of July 14th, 2016 Ms. [redacted]’s membership with Sun Tan City was terminated. As a one-time courtesy, a refund request was submitted for $46.79 for the month of May, due to her daughter’s account never being frozen.  Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms. [redacted] will continue to utilize our services. membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Mr. [redacted], all Sun Tan City memberships require at least 12 automatic payments before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services.Mr. [redacted] is more than welcome to tan any of our locations nationwide. We do have multiple locations in different areas of different states, which will put clients in different databases. The client is more than welcome to tan in the Springfield area, we would just transfer his information onto that database. Since we do not refund for unused services, the clients refund request would be denied since the client tanned and is in a 12 month agreement. Per the membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Ms. [redacted], all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services. As of December 20th, 2016 Ms. [redacted]’s membership with Sun Tan City was terminated. Per the document that we have on file for Ms. [redacted], we do not refund for unused services. As a one-time courtesy, we would be more than happy to a glow card request. This is an electronic gift card that never expires, which you can use towards products, packages and anything else that's Sun Tan City affiliated. As I stated in my original complaint, I specifically notified Sun Tan City staff that I DID NOT wish to enroll in a membership.  I was informed that "you don't have to" and was notified of a "deal" that would allow me unlimited tanning sessions for a given period of time.  
I was not provided a written agreement to sign.  I was instead asked to sign a black electronic pad while the staff person verbally explained that I was agreeing to pay a fixed amount and that I would wear protective eye wear in the beds.  I was never informed that I had been enrolled in an open-ended membership (which I very clearly stated I did not desire) and that I would need to cancel to avoid monthly charges.  Had I been provided an sort of copy of the agreement, I would've asked for immediate correction in the store. After noting unauthorized charges, I made numerous requests for the cancellation of any and all services and requested correction of the error.  I continued to be charged in spite of those requests.
After initiating this complaint, I did receive the partial refund check as stated in Sun Tan City's previous response, but I have not received any other reimbursement.  This "courtesy" being offered is insufficient.  I did not agree to pay for services and no services were requested beyond July 31, 2015. That was made very clear on the date of agreement and with each subsequent phone call made to Sun Tan City requesting termination of services.  Therefore a partial refund for "unused services" is inappropriate as no services went unused, rather I was charged for services I did not request.
I am asking that Sun Tan City correct it's own billing error by refunding the full amount by returning the remaining balance via check.  For the reasons mentioned above, I am not interested in a "glow card" and

full automatic payments prior to cancelling or freezing her membership. On August 22nd, 2013 Ms. [redacted] froze her Club Sun Membership with Sun Tan City for $5 per month cost to do so. On July 2nd, 2014 Ms. [redacted] contacted the Customer Service Department for Sun Tan City stating her membership should have been cancelled and she was charged for the month of July. At this time, Sun Tan City did not show an approved payment that has processed for Ms. [redacted] so a copy of her bank statement showing an approved payment for the month of July was requested. Ms. [redacted] continued to contact the Customer Service Department for Sun Tan City through the month of July to check the status of her refund until on July 8th, 2014 it was explained to Ms. [redacted] we had not received a copy of her bank statement showing an approved payment for that month. At this time Ms. [redacted] provided us the required documentation to submit her refund request. As of July 11th, 2014 Ms. [redacted] received a refund totaling the amount of $54.99 and her membership was cancelled to ensure no further payments processed. On April 30th, 2015 Ms. [redacted] visited our Springhurst location and purchased a single tanning session totaling $24.00. Our records indicate this visit was not utilized by Ms. [redacted].

Per the membership agreements that were signed in the salon by both Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted], all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services. On August 1, 2014 Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] both requested a refund for the amounts they were charge on August 1, 2014 for their memberships with Sun Tan City. Mr. [redacted]’s refund request totaled $26.67 and Ms. [redacted]’s refund request totaled $69.59. These refund request were originally denied due lack of documentation needed for a refund that is requested for unused services. Sun Tan City values all clients and wishes to dissolve as many client issues as possible. Therefore, as of October 13th, 2014 refund request for August payment amounts have been submitted for both accounts. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP AT THE LOCATION IN GEORGETOWN PUT IN THE ACCOUNT NUMBERS 2 TIMES - SO IF IT WAS PROCESS WRONG IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM - THEY PUT THE INFORMATION INTO THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM.  I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PUTTING IN THE NUMBERS.

I my complaint I clearly state the amount of $84.00 was credited back to me.  I also go on to state that amount of $30.09 was also due back to me.  I originally purchased lotion[redacted]  The amount of $30.09 was charged to my card.  After tanning I wanted to spray tan and the tanning consultant[redacted] advised that was not the best lotion choice for spray tanning and suggested I return the [redacted] and purchase the [redacted] brand.  I did and she stated she would void the previous transaction and charged my card another $43.85.  I am still needing a refund of $30.09 and this has been since April 1, 2017.  Attempts to correct this have been made to the store location in [redacted] several times and also their corporate customer service to no avail.  I have attached my bank statement showing the charge of $30.09.  I want resolution to this mistake.  You can find this charge on page 4 of the attachment.  I am very unhappy that I have had to argue and fight for so long for money that is mine.  I returned their product and expect them to return my money as well.

On April 21st, 2016 Ms. [redacted] purchased a month to month open-ended agreement that allowed them once a day tanning services at our St. Matthews location for $59.99 per month plus tax. As of August 15th, 2016 Ms. [redacted]’s membership with Sun Tan City was terminated. In order for Ms. [redacted] to receive her refund request, we would need the proper documents stating that Ms. [redacted] did not authorize these charges. Without these documents, a refund request cannot be submitted. membership agreement that was signed on the day of purchase all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one full automatic payment prior to cancelling and they are open-ended, therefore payments will continue until the membership is cancelled or frozen. The agreement also states that Sun tan City does not refund for unused services.
As of June 6th, 2015 a representative at the Customer Service Department for Sun Tan City submitted a Glow Card totaling $83.81 was issued to Ms. [redacted] for her June’s membership payment. Ms. [redacted] was satisfied with this resolution.

I did find it in my spam folder.  I am still not satisfied since reviewing the complaints on file they have gotten so many on this very topic but they seem to continue their practices. I also think I should have gotten a resolution of a refund to my credit card since that seems to have been a resolution they have done on several complaints but I will drop it I suppose
