Ira and everyone at Sunlight Contractors were Fantastic. Needed insulation for my new built Home in Waveland MS. Contacted Sunlight Contractors along with 4 other spray foam contractors. After talking to Ira regarding my needs he convinced me I wanted Spray Foam throughout the house and the underside of the home (Elevated Home). I was running on a tight time schedule and he was able to get the work done on my schedule. The crew was on time and completed the interior of the home in one day. Cam back on Friday and did the underside of the home with in 3 hours. The Crew was very courteous and very knowledgeable of the process. Even ensured the bathroom vents were run to an area that would allow them to vent outside to keep the moisture out of the home. As far as how well the insulation will perform is yet to be seen doo to the Mini Split A/C system is not completed yet but I expect it to be fantastic. I would highly recommend Sunlight Contractors for any of your needs.

The whole experience of working with this company was a pleasure from the start. The technician who gave me an initial consultation was extremely knowledgeable and helped me wade through the pros and cons of different insulating materials. I ended up going with spray foam because of the price and overall effectiveness. When I was ready to schedule the insulation, Ira, the owner called me back the same day to schedule me so everything could progress smoothly in the process of renovating my home. His team took the time it was necessary to make sure the job was done right and cleaned up after themselves. It wasn't easy, some of the rooms only had partial walls, other's had drywall but required multiple cut outs to blow in the insulation because of the fire breaks. I can already hear and feel the difference. The insulation has created a sound barrier that makes me feel like I can be alone with my thoughts. My house is peaceful even without a stick of furniture to perch on. Next step: sheetrock!

Ira and Allen are doing flawless work at our house.
We hired them recently to do spray foam insulation, remodelling, plumbing, electrical and pest control. Ira and his team are very respectful, considerate and honest. We feel so safe in knowing that our house is being updated by Ira and his team. Only the best.

Been a great experience thus far with Sunlight. My consultation and outlined plan by both the onsite crew and Ira were very helpful in deciding to go with Sunlight contractors. They were able to start the work quickly and in two days finished up the job. It was some tough work by the crew with three different attic spaces and some tight spaces, but everything looks in great shape and I'm looking forward to enjoying a cooled off upstairs.

Our experience with Sunlight Contractors has flawless and wonderful. Mr. Ira, the head of the company, is extremely personal, respectful, and caring. He works hard to ensure the job is done right with top quality. We used Sunlight Contractors to help insulate our new commercial building and we will be using them again for our Phase 2 of the project. We appreciate his team's dedication. Ira hires only people who are honest, hard workers and it shows.

Matt,
Thank you for such a wonderful review. This is what makes Sunlight Contractors tick. 100% customer satisfaction.

Sunlight Contractors is, quite simply, the best home construction/home improvement I have ever dealt with. They were responsive, attentive, and highly skilled. When you would call them, they either always answer the phone or immediately returned your call. They did some home repairs regarding roof areas with rotting and shingles needing replacement. It was flawlessly executed. Thereafter Sunlight Contractors recommended a number of improvements to enhance the air quality in our home. As part of this, they installed foam installation in the attic and it was a game changer. Additionally, they were extremely knowledgeable about air quality, filtration systems, and everything to do with creating as clean an atmosphere inside the home. Their pricing was fair and competitive and I'd suggest them to anyone without qualification. 5 stars.

Thank you Jim.
To all our readers jim had a bad rodent problem in his attic. They lived in his attic for years eating at his soffits and hardy board and those rodent didn't even pay rent. Those were Jim's exact words. We sealed many areas with plywood so they couldn't get in anymore. We also removed the old dirty insulation and all the 22 year old dirty ductwork. We installed hepa air filtration along with an ionization system that kills viruses in the return air and installed spray foam insulation heavily 6" throughout the entire attic which was a game changer. Now Jim has purified air and as you can read he is extremely happy.

I don't normally leave reviews but felt the need to share the phenomenal, experience I've had with Sunlight Contractors. This was my wife and I first time dealing directly with a contractor and we were weary of the experience from the horror stories we have heard from people. Let me tell you that working with Mr.Ira and the team has been completely opposite from what we expected, and has quite frankly been the most gratifying experience we've had dealing with any company. They were completely professional and forthcoming with information, stood by their word and work. I would highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed!

David is a seasoned builder and knows the construction industry like the back of his hand. This is the second project we did for David and Sunlight loves repeat customers who were satisfied with their last projects. Thanks David for your valuable input.

I contacted Sunlight Contractors for a quote to remove fiberglass batt insulation and apply closed cell foam to the subfloor of my home. My initial contact began with Mr. Ira. His knowledge base was evident as he politely addressed all of my questions and concerns. The company exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I received the quote on Friday and was scheduled on Monday for removal of the batt insulation. The spray foam installation was completed on Tuesday. The Sunlight crew was knowledgeable and the only company who measured the moisture content of the wood during the initial visit. Clayton was punctual, polite and explained the spray foam process in detail. He supervised the crew removing the batt insulation and assured compliance with safety standards. Clayton was patient addressing my additional questions and suggested topics for me to research to gain additional information. The spray foam crew was lead by an individual with many years of experience. He was knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job. Both crews assured the site was in order and clean upon completion. Mr. Ira communicated with me and his crew throughout the entire process. I am extremely pleased the the outcome of my project and would highly recommend Sunlight Contractors.

Lori. Thanks for your wonderful review, All prospective customers must make sure that at least 6-8 moisture readings are taken before your crawlspace gets spray foamed.
Never spray closed cell at 18% moisture level or more. There are several companies out there that are doing just that and once you trap the moisture the only way is to take it all out and remediate it. Thank you Lori.

My experience with Sunlight Contractors was beyond superb and excellent! I did not want to have anyone else deal with the mold and foam insulation. Mr. Ira is very knowledgeable and was so helpful with explaining the cost/quote. He also had great insight and advice on choosing floors in which we needed to replace. Initially I had another company to inspect and quote me for the mold treatment. That company told us that they would have to rip up our floors all the way down into our crawlspace beneath the house. I wanted a second opinion because it seemed to be extensive and expensive. Sunlight Contractors came the next day and did a full inspection: the guest room that was damaged, the crawlspace under the house. They were able to save my floors and kill all of the mold. Their staff Allen is so joyful, helpful, professional and always willing to answer my questions no matter how silly I thought it was. They made this process so much easier for my husband and I. I will always call them for any contracting or mold/spray foam installation or treatment!

We remodels two rooms and spray foamed the walls and part of the crawl space that needed to be repaired. We took out the old floors and repaired the floor joist that were bad and remediate the mold. Janel is very happy and the project will be completed today.

Called Sunlight on Monday and to my surprise had Clayton come out that afternoon to give me a quote. I was not quite ready to do the job, I was going to remove ceiling sheetrock myself, but Ashley did a fantastic job keeping up with me for when my renovations were complete (which was over a month). I called on a Friday and let her know I was done and the very next Monday the team with Corey was here. They said they would be here by 9 am, but they were beyond punctual and was already starting around 8:30. All of the guys that were part of the spray team, even Clayton, Ashley and IRA were super friendly and showed an eagerness to get the job done right and that my satisfaction was guaranteed, and it was. From the first night, my attic was no longer drafty and did not match the 39 degree cold, it was closer to the 60s I would say. Super satisfied and I can't wait for summer to be able to spend time upstairs in my newly insulated attic/renovated room.

Sunlight Contractors Response • Jan 31, 2020

Paul was happy the way our experience staff handled all aspects of the project. The results were fantastic. The attic was in the 30's and once the spray foam was installed the attic temperature went to the 60's. The reverse results will happen in the summer keeping Paul's home very comfortable.

They were there when they promised to give me an estimate. They answered all my questions that I had about the job and were very knowledgeable. After the removal of my old insulation they made sure everything was cleaned up from the hallway and the same for after they sprayed in the foam. I am glad with my choice and I highly recommend them.

All our customers are extremely happy with Sunlight because from each and every employee we CARE.
Thank you Grace, all of us get energized hearing that Sunlight is on top of all our projects.

Ira and his team answered all of my questions, showed up on time and had a very competitive price. The product has already made a difference in the bug burden and the sound inside our house. I am interested to experience the difference the closed cell foam makes in the winter time. Thank you Ira, Corey and your team.

Sunlight Contractors Response • Sep 04, 2019

Thank you Brian. We believe in offering an amazing experience at a great price. Your home is your castle ,and we want you to be as comfortable in it as possible. The closed cell spray foam in the crawlspace will make a huge difference in the winter. It is an air barrier, thermal barrier, and a vapor barrier it will block all the elements of Louisiana's weather from coming up into your house from your floors. We highly recommended not just in the winter but all year-round. Many Louisianians believe that in the winter is when you handle the crawlspace and in the summer is when you handle your attic. Here at Sunlight Contractors we believe taking care of your crawlspace is also important in the summer because all the humidity in the subfloor coming up from the earth drives all the moisture into your wooden substrate this is actually what causes many homes to have buckling, cupping, and swelling floors. Your home insulation in your attic and crawlspace are very important for many, many reasons not just for cooling purposes. That is why on our first interaction with any potential customer we like to educate them first instead of pushing for a sale. We believe that every person that owns a home should know more about their home from top to bottom before investing their hard earned dollars on any project in their home. Again, Thank you Brian for the kind words and thank you for trusting Sunlight Contractors.

Just in the talking stage right now but the owner Mr. Ira spoke with me personally and spent a good 15 minutes giving me free knowledge and even gave me advice about other things in my home. I asked if he could give me a same day quote which is unheard of in any field and he said yes and he called his secretary and got her to start working on it immediately.

Thank you Joseph we appreciate your feedback.

Thank you Ira and everyone at Sunlight.
I bought an older house and had high-end solid wood flooring installed in five rooms. Within a few months the new flooring in the three downstairs rooms was badly cupped. We found that it was due to open cell spray foam under the subfloor allowing moisture through. I have had some bad experiences with contractors and tradesmen, so I spent a lot of time doing my own research on subfloor insulation and spray foam in particular. I learned a lot. To remove the open cell and install closed cell, I had proposals from multiple companies specializing in spray foam. Sunlight was the only one that gave detailed and accurate information on everything to be done. Ira talked to me at length about the problems and what they would do. Based on my research, I knew their proposal was the only one that included everything needed to do the job properly. Ira was eager to explain to me every aspect of the project and answered my questions in detail. The written proposal included line item details and a separate list of additional work that may be needed with the cost for each item. After removing the old open cell they found that the moisture content of the wood was too high and the entire underside of the house would have to be dried with a special dehumidifier. That was one of the additional expense item listed on the proposal and I fully expected that one to be the case. Our raised home is not properly ventilated. From my own research, I knew the maximum moisture level of wood for closed cell spray foam and had already measured it in a few spots I could get to. (You can buy your own meter at Lowes or Home Depot.) Pleasantly, Ira reported that none of the other possible conditions existed. While the job was in progress, the crew arrived right on time every morning. Ira was there to oversee and inspect as the work progressed. He offered to show me the results as different phases were in progress or completed. The job was completed a few weeks ago and I am more than satisfied with the result. Of the multiple proposals, Sunlight was the highest quote, however, through past experiences and research, I know theirs was the only one that was accurate, complete and the only one that I could accept. Now that the project is complete I know I made the only choice I would have been satisfied with in the end. I’ll have warmer floors in the winter, I know the moisture problems are resolved and I can begin the process of redoing the cupped flooring.

Bill certainly did his homework. After six months of research Bill decided to hire Sunlight Contractors to fix his serious moisture problems in his crawl space that was destroying his historic hardwood floors.

Thank you James.
Pride in our workmanship, respect for our customers property is the key to our success.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of this company. I received multiple bids for a spray foam insulation job and this group was by far the most knowledgeable. They answered all of my technical questions and provided reference material. I highly recommend Sunlight Contractors and plan to use them again in the future.

Professional, timely, courteous are our middle name. We are from the old school and no matter what we always impress our customers. Just read some of our 1700 reviews on social media.
Jessie cathedral ceiling gets so hot that her living condition on the second floor is 85 degrees. When Sunlight completes the project it will cool down to 72-74 degrees.
Changing out your a/c is not the answer.

Sunlight Contractors was professional from start to finish. We had just moved in to our newly remodeled home about a month ago, just as the heat of summer was starting, only to find out we had a terribly inadequate amount of insulation in our attic. The result was our AC would run nonstop for about 20 hours a day but our house would still get up to 83F by early afternoon & not begin to cool back off until 10pm at night.
Ira & his team came in first thing in the morning on the day we had scheduled to remove the existing insulation and install the spray foam. We noticed a major improvement the same day. He & his team came back the next morning to finish up the job & cleaning up. Now our home & AC maintain the temperature of our choosing with ease. Great work, we would highly recommend!
I will note that there was some residual smell from the foam for a few days after, but we would open our windows in the morning when it was still coolish to help air out the house. All good now! Thanks Sunlight!

Spray foam is a miracle product when applied CORRECTLY. If it's not the whole process could turn out to be a nightmare.
To all prospective homeowners and business people DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. Sunlight can't stress this enough. Thanks Stewart for your wonderful review.

We have been doing business with Sunlight for 6 months now and they never disappoint. He has done mold remediation, and spray foam insulation on our home in the past and recently we needed a dehumidifier to complete the 100% guaranteed protection on our home. They have always been quick, professional and helpful every step of the way. I would recommend them to anyone.
