I called sunrise pups before following through on the purchase of the pup. On his word stating over the phone that he breeds his dogs so as to weigh no more than 5 lbs I went ahead and purchased the pup.me en in the receipt for this pup it is described as a tea cup. Am intent was to buy a tea cup to breed with my tea cup female. I told him this over the phone before buying the pup. If he is fact a reputable breeder and has been breeding dogs he is going to have a very good idea of the size of the pups when they reach maturity. My tea cup female came from both dogs weighing under 5 lbs. I reject his claim of not knowing what the out come of this dog would be. I have bread dogs before and with a certain reliability you know what you are going to get. His argument makes no sense animals are bread for certain traits all the time. A verbal contract is just as good as written when it is expressly stated in the terms he stated over the phone. Please advise me as to the next step and the consumer protection laws in your state to escalate this matter to the next level.

As you can clearly see we photographed the check prior to sending it to Mr [redacted] as we do with all our customersMr [redacted] was upset that we accidentally misspelled his nameHe therefore claimed that he didn't receive a check from us becasuse we had written [redacted] and not [redacted] [redacted] Once we were alerted to the situation we immediately called him and asked if we could put a stop payment on the check and cut another one or send it via paypalMr [redacted] responed days later with a negative review on the Revdex.comI don't know what more we could have doneBut regardless he wanted another check of a greater amount sent to his residence prior to his vacationWe have now sent a check almost triple the agreed upon price and sent it with a tracking number to Mr [redacted] He claims he won't be able to view the check prior to returning from his trip to Las Vegas

As you will see in all the attached paper work, [redacted] of [redacted] came to pick up a Havanese named Dash from usShe was upset when she arrived home to learn that the dog is not registeredBut yet no where in the paperwork or advertising was Dash listed as a registered HavaneseQuite frankly as you see on page of the attached pdf he was specifically marked as non registeredWe are sorry that Dash got car sick on the long drive back home to VirginiaBut this happens with puppies which is why we offered the fortical as a option if the puppy got car sickUnfortunately for [redacted] she had trouble finding the way to payand had to split her payment across many cardsThis usually is a signal of trouble, as there are more expenses with dog ownership than just the purchaseVet care and supplies are much more costly over the life of the puppy than the purchase priceWhen it became apparent that [redacted] had trouble paying it was a case where we wanted to retain dash for someone who could afford dog ownership, but [redacted] had a deposit on him and had driven from Virginia so we worked it where she could use a $paypal credit as well as splitting payment across store credit cardsIn retrospect I wish we hadn't done thisRegardless, when [redacted] was home she "suddenly" realized this puppy was not AKC registeredDash was never advertised nor was it stated that he was AKC registeredHe is beautiful and healthy and one of the most gorgeous dogs that we have ever had, but he was not registeredThis was clearly evident in the paperwork [redacted] signed for him and you can see that signature in the attached paperworkShe also agreed to abide by the terms and condition as stated on our website, which state absolutely no returns or exchangesWe do this for a number of reasonsOne, when you are committing to a dog you are committing for a lifetime also when a puppy leaves our kennel we don't know what is has been exposed to or what medical treatment it has hadWhat [redacted] is asking for in terms of a full refund and us to pay shipping back is outside of our terms and conditionsWe will offer to share the professional photos we have taken and have the copyright on so that [redacted] could use them to market Dash should she want to selll himThis way she can charge what she wants to collect her expenses and won't expose Dash to undue travelWe will waive our rights to Dash's photos and she can use them for her benefitWe have attached a few pictures of Dash in the pdf paper work for the Revdex.com to view and I think you will agree he is a stunning dog and these are some of the best pictures of a puppy you have ever seenA professional photo shoot with print image rights is valued at $So it is our belief this is over and above our terms and conditions and will go a long way in getting [redacted] what she wants, which is money

We were searching for the right pup for a while Found sunrise and they were truly wonderful Met them at their meeting place played with the pup They were very kind and professional and seemed to be knowledgeable about the breed we bought Puppy is very happy and playful Took him into the vet for check up and vet said was is perfect health Had a wonderful experience and will be getting another puppy from them this week

In May we purchased a Havanese for my special needs teenager. I did my research and believed this to be a good breed for her. 10 weeks later we couldn’t be happier. He did have fleas but that was the only issue, not a big deal. The vaccinations were well documented and he was in good health. He was a very active, happy puppy. As a matter of fact, his first day in our home we had a graduation party for my daughter (he was her gift) and he was the life of the party! He is a normal, delightful puppy!

Please also add to this complaint, in his response he sent me the papers and never heard back assuming I got themWhen I left with the dog I asked for the papers he said that I would receive them, the papers, from the AKC in about weeksNot the application for the papers from himI did not think anything about that because when I bought my first Yorker tea cup I did get the registration papers, not the application, in about weeks from the AKC

NothingI do not want anything from this company! No, I do not plan to have him testedIts not worth itMy philosophy is what goes around comes around in lifeI am done and no longer need your assistance

Regarding SunRise PupsI am going to be going to the news media and posting on your face book page and Yelpas well as the Better Business Bur regarding your un ethical pratices and fraud I purchased a puppy in faith after numerous calls to you you advised me you had seen the puppy and the puppy was in good healthI also went as far as to purchase a one year wellness warrenty on the puppyI got the puppy and the puppy was Filthy had poop hanging all over his butt, and was matted I had to get him shavedIn addition to this the puppy was infested in fleas and had double ear infections which I had to pay to get taken care of When I got him I also noticed he had a abdomional Hernia since you failed to remove his ambilical cord cvorrectlythis was something that was obious and when I questioned his health if you had actually seen him as you indicated this should have been advised, This was a result in not Removing the cord correctlyI notified you several times to get a resolution and was advised you would cover my bills as I sent you saying you would take care of me, the billsyou continued to ignore me by Dec I called again only to be hung up on after again you heard my nameI kept logs of our conversations as well as recorded them I would not suggest anyone purchase a puppy from you run a puppy mill as far as I am conserned

Hello, I am following up on complaint ***It appears that Ms*** has also done a review. I have loaded the vet paper work to the portal and I am attaching the agreement that Robert and Sandra C*** signed. Please notice that on page item Robert initialed that he
understood that Sunrise Pups doesn't cover giardia or coccidia, also item health guaruantee is for replacement puppies only, item 3, vet bills are buyers responsibility, item sunrise pups doesn't pay vet bills, And finally notice that Robert and Sandra declined to purchase the health guaranteeAlso the fact that Katie mae recieved a clean bill of health from the vet when she left our kennel and the fact that Sandra has stated her other puppy was infected and days after bringing Katie Mae home she was showing symptoms shows that the infection came from somewhere else. I have the email from them stating maximum weight under 5lbs! This email is the ONLY reason that I trusted to even get this breedI am very upset by her sizeThe vet even said that she is not overweightI feed her exactly the way she would need to be fed to surviveThis dog never would have been under 5lbs in her Adult yearsThey even told me the mom and dad weighed under 5lbsAlso when I showed up to the so-called address they gave me it wasn't even a dog breeding place , it was a vacant looking building and the owner pulls up in a pickup truck with only dogs The whole scenario seemed shady! I even asked the owner when I got there how much bigger would she get and he said maybe lbs bigger than what she was at that timeShe was lbs the day I got herAgain, I am very disappointedIf the owner would have mentioned in this email below or at the time of the visit that this dog could end up being up to 10-12lbs than I never would have gotten her.

*** ***I have the orginal lease agreement from *** lending pertaining to the puppy bought from sunrise puppies, the property description reads as follows: pet-dog/breed:teacup Yorkshire terrier/color:black/tan ID:***.I did not threaten to sue them, I just told them that I was going to have my attorney get involvedI may have gotten a little mad, but when a business ignores your problem, you get madI do not need to take her to a vet to tell me that she is not a teacup, they can check there description which listed the full term weight, why they can't admit they got dupped by who ever sold them the puppy to begin with.I'm just asking for a partial refund because I was lied to about this puppybut in the end if they are decided on, I will find all the review sites I can find and I will let people knowit's not a threat it's the true and legal

I just purchased a yorky-poo from Sunrise Pups around Christmas time and we named her ***! I was a little nervous about purchasing a dog from a online puppy store, but then we heard about Sunrise from a friend I still did my research because I wanted to make sure that our dog was from a true breederAll of my questions were answered and needless to say my experience was amazing!! It was perfect from the beginning to the end when we left with *** *** is an amazing puppy and my kids absolutely love her I would totally recommend and use Sunrise Pups again

He slipped in there the wording that there is no guarantee of the dogs physical traits it does not even match the rest of the paper work he claims I received.

Unsettling experience.....first impression--not trust worthy Did not disclose ear cartilage issue and worms were so bad it took a specialized drug compound to remedy the situation with the pup The online ad reads like the health insurance guarantee and transportation crate is provided----they are, BUT at a cost Was advised the purchased pup was crated and training to potty outside had begun......the pup had the highest level of crate anxiety I have ever witnessed and there was no evidence this old week pup had a clue about potty training outside! Better off to just tell it like it is, people can deal with the truth.....deceitful last impression
