You have not responded to what we have said. I could re-paste the whole complaint because you have addressed NOTHING. Nor have you apologized for your horrific customer service. You failed to address how you manipulated and lied to us. The contract should not stand because of the way you manipulated us and forced us to sign the contract after we had already purchased the puppy. Had we seen the contract first (as should be required by law) we would not have purchased the puppy.Once again, we gave you ONLY NEGATIVE feedback. For the third time, we would appreciate an APOLOGY for your manipulation, lying, and terrible treatment towards us.Lastly, PLEASE SEND US THE VETERINARY RECORDS THAT YOU *PROMISED* US.You also TOLD US YOU WOULD HELP WITH THE VETERINARY BILL and then changed your mind. According to five different vets we spoke with, if you had fed the puppy proper nutrition rather than mostly yogurt, she would not have had a hypoglycemic episode.

I have those emails too [redacted], would you like me to post them (not one offers to pay for medication.  That right there proves you lied.  I would be happy to do that :-). Admit false advertisement and sales and I will accept $250.  If not, I will post the emails

[redacted] came to our shop and picked out the Morkie she wanted out of the ones we had available, with no expressed weight guarantee. In fact we state very clearly in our terms and conditions that we don't guarantee weight.  [redacted] chose her puppy out of three we offered, I am happy her puppy is health and free from health problems. It sounds as if [redacted] is a very good stewart of her puppy. I am sorry we will not be refunding [redacted] any money because her puppy is 10 pounds. Owning a pet is a wonderful responsibility and it sounds as if [redacted] will continue to do a wonderful job with it. http://www.puppyweights.com/ Estimates that Yorkies or Maltese who are 2.5 pounds at 9 weeks will be 6 pounds full grown. I am sorry if you are upset with you puppys weight. If your vet says it is not overweight than that is wonderful.  Thanks again for your purchase from Sunrisepups and thank you for your constructive feedback. It always helps us in the future. Thanks

Great experience with purchasing a Havanese for our daughters birthday. The surprise worked perfect. The puppy arrived via airplane to San Diego without any issues on time to make it home for the surprise. The staff is great and easy to work with in the purchase. The puppy is so cute. I would for sure purchase again.

To Whom it may concern,
I have attached [redacted]'s  paperwork at the time of the sale. Which notably was near 4 years ago. 12/6/12. Please bring your attention to where she signed the paperwork where she signed that she believed that the puppy was in good health and condition at the...

time of sale. Also note that our puppies are sold as pet quality with no registration to which [redacted] agreed and then please note that she agreed that Sunrise tries to make estimates of size/personality/color but makes not guarantee on those estimations.   I am sorry that [redacted] decided she is un happy with how her dog finished out as an adult but she came and picked out her puppy and purchased it on location after observing the puppy for some time. We have been very responsive to her via email and phone calls. I am sorry that she didn't like the fact that yes she has a un-registered ruby cavalier which she pick out from us.
She has also mentioned that we did not communicate with her after she sent us pictures and that is simply not true as evidence by the photo I have attached of a screen shot showing the email communication and also referencing phone calls the two of us have had. most recently dated 4/30/13.
I will not be refunding her money, 1 because our terms and conditions which [redacted] agreed to when she picked out her puppy are that all sales are final, not withstanding this complaint is 3.5 years after you picked out and purchased a puppy from us.
Westport newbuild homes only come with a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty I am not sure why you would think that you could be reunded on a puppy you picked out a purchased 3.5 years ago. I am glad you puppy is healthy and happy, I am sure you and your son have enjoyed her over these years.

As you can clearly see we photographed the check prior to sending it to Mr. [redacted] as we do with all our customers. Mr. [redacted] was upset that we accidentally misspelled his name. He therefore claimed that he didn't receive a check from us becasuse we had written [redacted] and not [redacted]...

[redacted]. Once we were alerted to the situation we immediately  called him and asked if we could put a stop payment on the check and cut another one or send it via paypal. Mr. [redacted] responed 4 days later with a negative review on the Revdex.com. I don't know what more we could have done. But regardless he wanted another check of a greater amount sent to his residence prior to his vacation. We have now sent a check almost triple the agreed upon price and sent it with a tracking number to Mr. [redacted]. He claims he won't be able to view the check prior to returning from his trip to Las Vegas.

When I saw Jenna from the website, we already knew she is the dog for us. Contacted sunrise pups, immediately set up an appointment for the next 2 days to see the dog. We were welcomed by Derek, sincere and very accommodating gentleman. The place is nice and clean, that is one thing to consider, meaning they take pride of their business, dogs are well taken care of. It was worth the drive to Ohio. I already spread the words to my immediate family and showed them sunrise pups' website. I will surely recommend the company.

We were searching for the right pup for a while. Found sunrise and they were truly wonderful. Met them at their meeting place played with the pup. They were very kind and professional and seemed to be knowledgeable about the breed we bought. Puppy is very happy and playful. Took him into the vet for check up and vet said was is perfect health. Had a wonderful experience and will be getting another puppy from them this week.

We brought our Yorkie home for 2015 Christmas and Boomer has been an excellent and healthy dog. Our vet is always impressed and expressed Boomer is a mighty good specimen. Unfortunately, we chose to have him neutered. We have another Yorkie we received from an independent breeder 2 years ago and our vet has never doted over her like he does with Boomer. We highly recommend Sunrise Pups.

I bought my dog [redacted] from here and I love her she is sooo great and healthy!!! Ive since named her [redacted]. But everyone there was very helpful in helping me with all my questions!!! And I had alot!!! But I have a beautiful litto yorkie full of personality!!!! My only complaint which its not really a complaint cause I know they will honor it but im still waiting on my health guarantee number for my dog. But overall I have a healthy beautiful litto bossy but so cute angel!!!! Thankyou guys

I am putting in a complaint about sunrise pups breeders in Ohio about the breeder who sold me my havenese ... She came to me not crate trained and had [redacted] diarrhea that we still are trying to resolve . I took her to my vet who saw her vaccine record and wondered why the shots were given so close . Also we left a stool spec and got the results back saying she was infested with giardiasis paracites ..it has taken 150.00 and two bouts of antibiotics and she still has diarrhea .. I would never recommend this breeder and I suggest to demand a stool cx sent to a lab before you buy and get attached to one of their pups to be treated before you take them home ... This puppy was very sick and they sold it to me anyways ...

I am rejecting this response because: There is no paperwork with my signature on it. The papers do not even show who sold it and to whom.  I was never told when I came that the puppy was not registered, ever. I also have copies of my bills from the Vet from Dash having bloody diarrhea from which he has 2 weeks of medication to be given and then I have to go back to the vet to have his stool checked again for parasites. After taking care of Dash, I will not send him back to this company. I do not want a penny from them.  And this company absolutely advertised this puppy as a Havanese. This puppy is mixed and should be advertised as such. I am not the first person evidently that this company has done this to.
Regards,
[redacted]

I purchased a "havanese" puppy from Sunrise Pups. He is an awesome dog, but he should not be referred to as a Havanese. When he reached 25 pounds we did a DNA test and learned that both parents were about half havanese. I emailed Sunrise Pups to address this and received no response.

[redacted]. This sounds like a 3rd party complaint which aren't allowed by the Revdex.com. [redacted] is our customer for this puppy. Please see the attached paperwork which [redacted] has signed. 1.) I understand that it is my responsibility to make sure that my puppy eats 3-4 times per day.2.)...

I understand that it is my responsibility to take my puppy to the vet if he/she is sick or even seems to be sick.3.) I understand that in some cases Veterinarian care can be expensive and that once my puppy leaves the care of Sunrise Pups, all Veterinarian expenses are my responsibility.4.) I understand that Sunrise Pups LLC does not pay for Veterinarian care once I adopt/purchase my puppy.5.) I understand that the Health Guarantee offered by Sunrise Pups is for replacement puppies only.6.) I understand that all sales are final. There are no exchanges, or returns.11.) A hypoglycemic attack is often precipitated bystress. The typical signs are listlessness, depression, staggering gait, muscular weakness, and tremors-especially of the face. Puppies with a severe drop in blood sugar developseizuresor become stuporous and go into a coma. Death can follow. This particular sequence of symptoms is not always seen though. For example, some puppies exhibit only weakness or a wobbly gait. Occasionally a puppy that seemed just fine is found in coma.Episodes of hypoglycemia often occur without warning-for example, when a puppy is stressed byshipping. Other common causes of acute hypoglycemia aremissing a meal, chilling, becoming exhausted from too much play, or having an upset stomach. These events place an added strain on the energy reserves of the liver.Treatment: The treatment of an acute attack is aimed at restoring the blood sugar.Begin immediately. If the puppy is awake and able to swallow, give corn syrup or sugar water by syringe, or rub corn syrup, honey, orglucose paste on thegums (Fortical). You should see improvement in 30 minutes. If not, call your veterinarian. If the pup is unconscious, do not give an oral solution because it will be inhaled. Rub corn syrup, honey, or glucose paste on the gums and proceed at once to your veterinarian. This puppy will require an intravenous dextrose solution and may need to be treated for brain swelling.Oral glucose paste (Fortical) is sold at pharmacies. If you know your dog is subject to hypoglycemic attacks, keep this product on hand.Prevention: Susceptible puppies should be fed at least four times a day. It is important to feed a high-carbohydrate, high-protein, high-fat diet. It is essential that the diet be high quality. Your veterinarian can recommend an appropriate premium food.Food supplements and table scraps should not exceed 5 to 10 percent of the total daily ration. Owners of toy puppies should takeprecautions to see that they do not become excessively tired or chilled. And even so [redacted] has initialed all the paper work. I am sorry the puppy isn't eating but we can't make it eat. Only [redacted] can make it eat or her vet. Thanks,Dan

To  whom it may concern,
First off I want to...

thank [redacted] for her business and I appreciate the note she has left us. I gives me great joy to know that her puppy is doing well and is healthy and has had no problems to speak of (other than behavioral (which comes with working with the puppy))
I wanted to remind [redacted]  of an email correspondence we had when [redacted] was scheduling a time to come check out our puppies.
[redacted] sent this email from  [redacted]@republicservices.com
I am looking for a female morkie that will stay under 6lbs even as an adult. I was looking online at your [redacted].
I have been hearing some horror stories about buying expensive puppies online and being taken advantage of with either never receiving the puppy or the puppy is ill or not at all what the pictures and the breed ordered. Therefore I would like to know if I can visit your facility this weekend? I am available all day on Sunday. I truly hope to hear from you?
[redacted]@republicservices.com
My Response
Of course! We encourage our customers to come meet our puppies in person before making a decision. What time on Sunday would you like to come meet our pups?
After encouraging [redacted] to set up the appointment and come down to our family business to  meet me and my pups and choose the one [redacted] decided was best for herself. She did this agreed to our terms and conditions signed the attached paper work which I was able to quickly find and upload to this response
[redacted] signed Purchase/Seller Agreement,  [redacted]'s receipt, The Term's and Conditions as stated on our website http://sunrisepups.com/terms
Some of the highlights from this are that   [redacted] was to make sure your puppy eats 3-4 times a day,
take her to the vet if she gets sick, all vet expenses are your responsibility once she leaves our kennel. And it sounds as if things are going great with her health!!! I am so glad to hear that.
We also clearly state the following
"Puppies are sold as pet quality with no registrations
unless otherwise noted. The ability to sire or whelp puppies is not guaranteed
by Sunrise Pups. Sunrise Pups will attempt to accurately estimate
size/personality/color of puppies as accurately as possible. However, because
of genetic factors out of our control we do not guarantee any of the above."
Size is hard, I know [redacted] was working in a budget and I am happy she chose the Morkie which she did. I brought the 3 Morkies which we had remaining from the litter for her appointment. She picked her female out and mentioned to me that she was interested in changing her food. I actually wrote some options down for  [redacted] all of which have different protein options and are designed for different things.
It is also unclear to us when a puppy leaves our kennel if they are being fed eggs and bacon every morning under the table or picking up the scraps, all of these things affect weigh. Which is what makes it so hard to estimate. Getting your puppy fixed is another variable that causes some puppies to become lethargic and put on weight. This can change there hormones especially in females.
I am copying the link from ASPCA about what happens when a female is spayed.
 https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/virtual-pet-behaviorist/dog-behavior/how-will-s...     The highlight is below
Physiological changes after spaying may affect your dog’s metabolism and appetite, making her prone to weight gain. There’s some evidence to suggest that puppies spayed before five months of age are at greater risk of becoming obese than puppies spayed later. This potential drawback is easily controlled with appropriate diet and exercise. If you notice that your dog looks overweight, you can decrease the amount of food you give her and increase her exercise. If you’re not sure if your dog is at a healthy weight, please consult her veterinarian.
But  [redacted]'s complaint was quite confusing.  [redacted] first complained of the weight but then  [redacted] stated it wasn't the weight but the height and the width of the dog that irritated  [redacted].
We absolutely don't guarantee those either it's not written or implied.
I am happy that your puppy is healthy and I am happy you are committed to her for the long haul. We will not be reimbursing you for the purchase price of your puppy. [redacted] for reaching out to us. I am sorry you are upset but there is nothing that we can do for you at this juncture.
I am happy to have a chance to have met [redacted] and feel confident that she has what it takes to love and care for the puppy she came and picked out. This gives us a good chance to review our processes and make sure we are keeping good detailed records and first and foremost sending puppies to forever homes that are going to love and cherish them for a lifetime. I think  [redacted] fits this bill and this gives me great joy.
Thanks for everything.
[redacted] Sunrisepups Co-owner

I purchased a 8week old pup from Sunrise pups for my daughter ($650). 1 1/2 weeks after taking the dog home he became very sick over night and resulted into 3 vet visits within 2 days and then passed away. The manager promised to work with me as long as I provided the vet records from our 3 visits to show there was something wrong with the dog so they the company (sunrise pups) could get a replacement dog. I provided the requested information and never heard from anyone again. They continued to ignore my emails/phone calls.. I would NOT recommend using this company.

I called sunrise pups before following through on the purchase of the pup. On his word stating over the phone that he breeds his dogs so as to weigh no more than 5 lbs I went ahead and purchased the pup.me en in the receipt for this pup it is described as a tea cup. Am intent was to buy a tea cup to breed with my tea cup female. I told him this over the phone before buying the pup. If he is fact a reputable breeder and has been breeding dogs he is going to have a very good idea of the size of the pups when they reach maturity. My tea cup female came from both dogs weighing under 5 lbs. I reject his claim of not knowing what the out come of this dog would be. I have bread dogs before and with a certain reliability you know what you are going to get. His argument makes no sense animals are bread for certain traits all the time. A verbal contract is just as good as written when it is expressly stated in the terms he stated over the phone.

Please advise me as to the next step and the consumer protection laws in your state to escalate this matter to the next level.

To all who are concerned,There are things in the [redacted] account that are simply not true. I think it is interesting that the Revdex.com gives a forum for people to write non-factual accounts of how transactions happen.I received the following email from the [redacted] the day of December 29th..We did receive a phone message regarding this.  We were told that she was due to arrive in Columbus at 9 p.m. your time.  We were not aware that she was flying all over the country like this.  We were told that there was a 3-hr. delay and she missed her connecting flight which they told us was cancelled anyway.  They then put her on another flight that was supposed to arrive at 9 p.m. your time.  We’ve been worried about her and have been listening to the weather forecasts in your area.  When we took her to the airport she was a ball of energy.  I pray that she’s okay and arrives safe and sound back to you.  Please let us know that she made it okay.  By the way, we were not advised by the person who checked in her about any bad weather conditions.  I don’t know why they told you that but it’s not true. The lady just checked her in and told us to have a nice day. Please note that this messages doe not indicate that [redacted] was going to reach out to us nor does it indicate that the [redacted] contacted us in regards to any change in flight. It is true we booked the flight for Layla and we were quoted our rate of 189 plus tax. The [redacted] were also informed that shipping there and back would be $400 dollars, obviously simple math one can figure out that $400/2 is $200. The [redacted] could have flown her on our account but chose not to. It is also inaccurate to say they weren't advised of the fact they would need to have the dog vet checked. When their daughter called on Christmas day she was advised of this. She was after all the one who wanted to buy Layla prior to deciding she didn't want her. Although the [redacted] had terrible communication practices surrounding the flight of Layla, they also didn't have vet checked to make sure she was healthy enough to fly, therefore I don't believe I should pay one cent of a flight that caused Layla to be over nighted in Houston. I stand by my original agreement that I will pay 189 plus tax. which comes to 203.17. I have never wavered from amount and this is what I am willing to reimburse. When I am tendered a bill for this amount, I will happily refund them this price.
