We sold our home and transferred service to new owner ( headache)Sun Run issued us a check for outstanding creditCheck did not clear and now we have bank feesWe contacted Sun Run numerous times still waiting on them to resolve situation which is going on for over a monthHopefully someone will get this to the appropriate person to handle the situation*** **

We moved into a new home a year ago & a few companies approached us about solar, but Sunrun was the only company we took the time to meet withThe salesman met with us twice in late Spring, the second time he brought a trainee along with him who behaved more like a buddy of hisWe told the salesman we would consider using them, but his calculations came out to much more than we pay or would pay ***Then a customer in our neighborhood, who installed solar panels with Sunrun, told us that the salesman told them about personal conversations & text messages we had with him! If we were considering using them, we decided not toTotally unprofessional! And, the solar panels on their roof look terrible!!

I have had sunrun for about years nowI have had only lower power billsTheir salesman completely lied about my future bills if I had solar panels installedWe were told our power bill would be no more that $monthly and our contract price would be $monthlyWhich would save us a little bit of moneyMy power bill at the time was a little over $ monthlyMy power bill yesterday was $along with paying SunRun $my total is $this monthI am a widow living on a fixed income and I can not afford SunRunI have asked numerous times about having the panels removed to which I am told that I am under a year contractI have sent copies of my last years power bills to SunRun for an analysisNow they want another copy of the same billsAre they using them for fire wood, because they can never find the copies I sentI was never told by anyone at SUnRun that the panels would void my roof warranty but it doesAlso, when having to do some legal things with my attorney I had him look over my contract with SunRun and he said I got ripped off and there is now a lien on my houseSince my husband passed away I wanted to downsize and sell my houseThe solar panel contract has to go with the house or else I have to pay the year contract offI don't have $25,or so to pay that and no one is going to take this over if I sell my houseI am contacting everyone I can to get out from under this contract, including attorney and senators

BEWARE of Sunrun Solar ** SCAM SCAM SCAM *** Poor customer service and Sales does a bate'n switch on your pricing! Had this put in November Called and complained times to Sunrun in August that my trbill with SDGE was not $but $2400! Wanted a Supervisor to come and explain why bill was outrageous and not what I was promised and to see if my solar was not producing -- they refused each time Said their computers show system is working and that was it, told me to call SDGE SDGE says they will not come out because we have solar....I got the run around from bothDidn't use my AC until end of may, and my house never seemed to get very cool -- since we recently serviced it I figured the unit was just getting too old...WRONG! Now a year later my AC is still only pushing out low air, so we decide to look at the vents to clean them out again and notice that the attic is freezing -- when Sunrun installed the units, they popped off my vent tube so all of my AC is blasting in my attic crawl space all this time! UGGGG! Now since we reconnected the vent my house feels amazing -- nothing wrong with my AC....just a HUGE screw up from Sunrun all this time
I was so pissed, I called Sunrun again to file a formal complaint of this screw up and request credit issued for all the extra money they cost me Sunrun says well there is nothing we can do because this happened too long ago! I said no no no, I called times last year, and if you would have came over, you would have noticed this error then! Sunrun rep said well I will submit your request for a call back but I don't think you will get a response....OH MY GOSH, I can't believe the attitude of customer service this company has! This is the same crap I got every time I called last year as well....you get absolutely no service Complete opposite of when the unit is sold to you They told me if I had ANY concerns that a rep or field supervisor will come out to look at the situation....total LIES!

Did not deliver the promised sign up bonusI purchased a solar system with Sunrun last summerI was to receive a $sign up bonus after paymentSystem was paid for in August for $11,A few months later I received a gift card for $Since then I have made multiple calls and emails regarding the remaining $On December 7, I received an email stating they had solved the mix up and the $would be sent soonAfter two months I still had not received paymentI have emailed and phoned again but keep getting told they will look into it and call back the next dayThey don't call back and I have to call them again and againI would like them to send the remaining money they owe me

I agree with the recent comments, I've had a horrible experience with SunRun, emailed and called multiple timesThere was a leak on the roof and the when the tech inspected the attic he pushed on the damaged dry wall causing it to crackI've reached out several times and no response
On top of that, I had professional licensed roofer to come out and inspect, he noted that SunRun install the panels too close to the valley of the roof and he couldn't perform the necessary repairsSunRun is trying to charge me $when it is completely their faultI would give zero stars if I could

Hello I have two different solar systems with sunrunOne that was started on 3/9/The other bigger sytem began on 8-6-Because my August system was broken much of the year and they failed to repair it in a timely fashion it really underproducedClose to kilowattsI have a performance guarantee and I am supposed to receive a checkThey owe me a lot of moneyI called last week and also today and got no whereIn fact I was told that the system from showed an early performance payout and we would not be entitled to one for another yearWell I was entitled to performance guarantee money on my March system which I did receive in AprilApparantly they have things notated on the wrong accountI am requesting my performance guarantee money for the system dated 8/9/Per our contract that is due on the annual anniversary date which is 8/of every yearSunRun is in breach of contractI got no where with the customer service person who stated he is rea

The company has refused to repair our damaged roof that was caused by their installers, they did not file the required rebate paperwork with ***The salesman assured us when we signed up that SunRun was the solar company to go with, as they had such a high rate of customer satisfaction and were customer orientedHe also told us that we would receive a rebate in the amount of $500, also a perk of going with this company because the other solar companies were not remitting the rebates to customers, but keeping them for themselvesOur first site visit was in August of Our solar did not go live until February of When the installation crew installed the panels they damaged over roof tilesSome of them were replaced, but there are still that are damagedWe called and emailed customer service on multiple occasions, all of which were answered with assurances that the damage would be fixedThis has yet to happen, and the project manager has completely ended communicatio

Beware of SunrunWe have been in contact with Sunrun about a dispute we have with the companyWhen we first researched solar an decided on Sunrun, we were told by the salesman that it would cost $to take the panels on and off if and when we ever needed a new roofWe contacted them and they quoted us $3,to put the panels back onWe were in contact with the salesperson who emailed them stating that he told us $They claimed never to have received his emailWe have since emailed them twice asking for a resolutiresponse! I have seen other complaints about this same issue and Sunrun response is they will take it to their leadership meetingsWell, that's great they are now letting their people know, but in the meantime, they take no action to resolve the current problemWill not recommend thto another company if you want honest, and timely responses! Very Frustrated!

This is both a customer service issue and a contract issueSunrun installed our solar system in ***We leased the system from them instead of buying it outright specifically due to the clause in the contract that stated their obligation to monitor and maintain the system that was installedIt was several years before, after a call from us to check the system, that they finally installed the monitoring device to keep track of productionThe system hadn't been functioning to it's full capacity for part of that time due to the failure of componentsWhen we finally found out through a 3rd party (that Sunrun had sent out) that the system wasn't producing at capacity we started making phone calls to Sunrun customer serviceTheir response was always that they would remedy the problem but it just hasn't happenedThe latest component, according to them, has been on order since *** ***We have received one or two follow up phone calls, but in most cases for our calls they say they

We’ve been with Sunrun sine July Sunrun has yet to save us ANY money........actually we are paying more for power due to the $contract feeBTW the fee escalates annuallyWe have contacted Sunrun without resolveThey assay “you signed our contract.”
We did sign the contract, however, Surun’s design is insufficient for our power needsWe were The “solar uneducated “ customers depending on Sunrun to guide us and install a system that would serve our needs as promised by Sunrun sales representativeIt doses notWe are asking is that Sunrun add more panels to our exiting system so it meets our needF-

Sunrun damaged my roof during installationThey have repeatedly been contacted over the past months - repairs have not been made or scheduledMy initial installation was in February, ***Shortly after the installation the system intermittently would stop workingAfter several service calls over the next several months I was told the inverters were being recalledApproximately year after installation the inverters were replaced and the system functioned as promised - such was year In September of *** I scheduled to have the gutters on my home replaced in preparation for the El Nino yearThe installation crew informed me that they could not complete the job because the tiles were askew from the Sunrun panel installationMy contract states the Sunrun will repair roof damage up to years after the installationThe gutter installation team took pictures of the damaged roof which were forwarded to Sunrun in October/November of ***When I called their so call Customer Serv

I live in Las Vegas and have never had a pigeon problem on my property until after Sun run installed solar panels on my roofThey told me that the leased panels were their responsibility and also any damage to my roofNow less than a year later I have nesting pigeons damaging my roof and they want to charge me for clean up and removal? Solar City is doing this for their customers free of charge and making it so the pigeons stay awayWhat a joke you are Sun run! Take responsibility and do the right thing and hold true to your wordThis is something that should be done when the panels are installed and of course the sales or installation people never mentioned anything about pigeon issuesYou have caused my home to go from a safe and healthy home to a health hazard for my child and pets, we can't even use the backyard due to all the droppings and debris that they create

On December 17, *** I signed a lease agreement with SunRun Total Solar who did install a solar system on my houseThe agreement states Sunrun's Service Obligations to me is; " SunRun will insure, maintain, and repair the Solar Facility at no additional cost to you, including inverter replacement" As of June ***, the inverter stopped functioningSunRun did sent a company *** *** to my home and confirmed the inverter was non functioningI have been in weekly contact with *** *** and SunRun as to the status of the repairIt's going on two months now, and I feel I am getting the run-around, as the system has not been replaced or is functioning*** *** states the company that makes the inverter has moved and they are extremely backloggedI feel it's SunRun's obligation to insure their customers are taken care of in a timely mannerIn fact the contract states "timely manner" however doesn't specify what "timely manner" actually isIn my opinion, one month or less

The installation of solar panels left the house with no power for some appliancesWashing machine, drier, Air conditioning and Furnace are out of powerAlso they left the electrical box with live power cables and others exposed, as all electrical cables were connected beforePosing a risk of someone getting shock or the possibility of a short with other consequences

I was first approached in January of within a local Costco by a SunRun/REC Solar sales repI received a home consultation and provided the last months of my Xcel Energy electric and utility billsMy system was designed for 71% replacement of average past months of electrical usageI spoke with the REC Solar Manager that has since been promoted to a Arizona Sun Run facility since REC Solar has sold the marketing and installation arm to Sun Run back in 2013/This Manager heard my desire and complaint of the $24,system that could not nor would not produce anything close to my past 11,kwHr of consumption and had his Engineer redo the calculations toward an "upgraded system" that would indeed produce 120% of my almost 12,kwHr of annual electricityI was assured that this NEW system of vs photo voltaic panels would qualify by a couple of percentage points upon the 118-120% threshold that Xcel, the State of Colorado and the Federal US Government woul

I don't even know where to begin with this terrible company we signed our agreement to have a k system installed on April The system was installed on October 30th after emails and phone calls I often go weeks without communication from themHe I sit on December and I'm still not even turned on yetThey installed the system and did not even test itI have to make the loan payment this month as well as my power bill when I called sunrun about this after minutes on hold I was basically told to pound sandSunrun was funded from the loan company in october so they received the moneyWhen the system was installed they smashed in my roof vents and ripped up shingles for no reasonThis whole process has been a nightmare stay the *** away
