Hi! I’m so fustrated and upset with this companyWhen I first met with the sales associate, he promised my family and I that our electric bill would go from $a month to about $a monthUnfortunately right now I’m paying about $230-$a month now! Sunrun charged me about $a month and HECO charges me about the same amount that I used to pay prior to installing solar panels! I tried calling Sunrun and they give me bogus answers saying that I’m using much more electric and that I need to stop using A/C!? This is just so frustrating because we use the same if not less electric due to the fact I started working againMy thing is that they promised me an amount to expect to pay and now we’re being charged double!? My family and I are struggling now and we would like an answer to get things fair

I had went into contract with *** *** for over two yearsSunrun just recently bought *** ***My solar panels were installed on my roof in JanuaryI have called countless times to understand the status of what is going on with the panels and when they will start operatingAfter weeks finally someone reached out to us from Sunrun and said sorry we can't help you at this time and we needed to sit and wait for an updateThey said they could not give us anymore information then thatNo time Frame, no further guidanceI needed to just sit and waitThis has been going on for a very long timeThey have no resolution for the panels that are just sitting there on my Roof for monthsI had to just sit and waitThey own my account now and can not give any answers for what is going onI am appalled by the lack of service and communication that this organization has

On October 5, a friend told us about the company Sunrun, we were looking into going solarWe got the number of a tech who works with Sunrun and he came by to share information about how solar panels work and if it would benefit usAt the time are electricity bill was pretty high and we liked what the tech informed us ofSo we decide to move forwardOctober 14, I received a proposal, we agreed to the proposal however this was not documented, the tech came by, we initialed to give them permission to check our credit scoreWe were told we would receive a contract by email and never didThis was never signed by usAt the time we were also in the process of refinancing our home, and on our credit it showed that we were getting solar panelsAt this time we tried getting in contact with the tech that was helping us but we were unable to get ahold of him by phoneOn December 6, I emailed him asking him to get in contact with usWhen he finally did we told him we didn’t

Sunrun advertises that they will pay a $*** referral fee if you give them a name of someone who buys a solar system from themI provided Sunrun with a referral and they installed a systemSunrun agrees that they owe me $***, but they won't send the cash cardsFirst, they said the "cards are in the mail" but when I never got them, I would check back and they would say "You aren't in the system", or "call our fulfillment company", or the fulfillment company would say "call Sunrun"I then got a call saying "Congratulations, you earned $***!" Cards arrived via *** ** addressed to us, but when we tried to activate them (they were Costco cash cards), the phone number wasn't correct, so they can't be activatedI called Sunrun back and I get "sorry, but we don't show you in our system" againAs far as I'm concerned, they are deliberately refusing to pay us $*** that they are obligated to payI even have an email from them acknowledging they owe us $*** from early ***

On Feb Sungevity solar company installed solar panels on my home roof topMonth later Sunrun solar company sent me a invoice bill without a a return envelope to pay the bill I immediately call Sunrun solar billing department to inform them of this NO ENVELOPE INSIDE BILLING INVOICEThey apologize for this mistake with the mail without a return envelope and stated to me that they would correct this problemThis problem continues to existI have made several telephone calls to Sunrun company advising them of this matterAll to no avail with difference explanation from different customer service representativeI also requested many times to speak to a supervisor or manager pertaining to this issue with no return envelopeThere was no response or return phone call to me for this issue

I have been a Sunrun customer for almost years and my experience couldn’t be betterWe are actually saving more than the estimated ?? Frustrated (BEWARE) After spending over 26k with Sunrun, I have had nothing but bad customer service coupled with a slow runaround treatment! I went with Sunrun because they were the company *** stood behindMy system was installed in August So far the $5,battery "Brightbox" broke two months after installation, it then took another month before they installed a new LG batteryA couple of weeks after that episode the transformer broke and needed to be replacedAs of now, the battery system is still not workingWhen I reach out to the customer service Deptthey are nice as pie while they are telling me to wait another days before someone will contact me to make an appointment for a service tech to come out weeks down the road and address the issueUnfortunately I have to say, I've made a BIG MISTAKE going with Sunrun, their products and customer service have been nothing but a disappointment ( to put it nicely ) it's no wonder their stocks have dropped like a stoneI would like to get the Email address & a phone number to *** *** ( Chief Customer Experience Officer) for Sunrun, and let her know her team is useless, and she should not be making a six figure salary
