When I went to arrons I was wanting a bed set the general manager Zack approach me and began to sell the bed set to me and explaining payments and stuff while I was thinking it over he added in that after I make 4 payments they match a payment so of course I said sign me up I'll take it... Keep in mind I've made all my payments a week bfor they were do and I always asked about the match payment when I made mine told it was all ok and here it is the 4 month and there supposed to match WELL GUESS NOT there now tell me something completely different and won't honor what was sold to me even though I'm a loyal customer this far...also I forgot to add they had me paying on something I didn't even have and no one ever called or got ahold of me to tell me about they jus kept taken my money.....TAKEN MY BUSINESS ELES...THEY SCREWED ME OVER BIG TIME....

The staff is pushy and difficult to work with. You have to call the company's main phone number to pay on your principle as the store will tell you it's not possible. Lots of items I didn't order were on my original invoices and I had to fight with them for weeks to get them to correct it so we were paying the right amount.

Local furniture stores in town now have the EXACT same financing as Aarons does so there is absolutely NO reason to buy your furniture here.

Had a very bad experience with the store in Ellsworth Maine was renting a stereo and a dish washer we decided we wanted to return the stereo and they got mad and took our dish washer too with no reason it was paid on time every month and wasnt even due for another payment when they took it all because they was mad about us returning the stereo. Will never ever recommend this place to anyone

Called to cancel my contract and took day of work to allow for pickup on that say I called back and they "forgot" to add me to the pickup schedule. They play this game to rope you into more time. This isent the first time this happened to me this time I had to threaten to put their product on the curb for them to finally come out. They have no respect for you or your work schedule.

I am a previous customer of the Pensacola, Fl. [redacted] store, which until recently was owned by Aaron's. During that time period, I had purchased a television on the rent to own program. After having the tv for a few months, I was moving out of state and called the store to make arrangements to have the tv picked up. No one ever showed up to pick up the tv, and I was given several excuses as to why they weren't able to make it out. This went on for about three weeks. The day before I was leaving, I called the store again and told them they had to come out that day because I was leaving at 4 a.m. the next morning. They never showed up. So the following day I called them again and gave them the number and name of the person still living at the house so they could make arrangements to pick up the tv. It took another three weeks for them to finally pick it up. In this time frame, they decided to falsely accuse me of theft and fraud and filed charges against me. Now mind you, this was in 2012. I just recently found out about the charges and have been trying to get the matter resolved. I even have a receipt from the store showing that the merchandise was returned. Myself and my wife have made multiple attempts to contact the store to which the manager Steve tells us that it is not his F[redacted] problem and he is not going to do anything about it. We have also made several attempts to contact the corporate office, but have not been able to get any resolution with them either. We have spoken to several people from corporate who say let me check into this and I will call you back tomorrow. Well after several weeks of this, we have not heard back from anyone, and since I now have a felony warrant out for my arrest, I am not able to perform my job at work, which is done on military bases. I am at a point where my only choice is to contact an attorney and file suit against them. I would never suggest doing business with Aaron's or any of it's other stores.

I was rented a faulty washer and lap top, they didn't fix it and are now refusing to pick the washer up to get it out of my way, I was told they would call me back on it on several calls and they never returned my calls, I am seriously upset with this company and I don't plan doing any business with them in the future.

Aarons in Athens Georgia is by far the best one of them all. They have a family oriented feel and really care about the customers wants and needs. The Accounts Team is very professional and understand that sometimes life happens and are willing to work with you as much as they can so we can get to ownership. Thank you for making my family happy and giving us the home that we want. The prices are amazing as well, especially for people like me who cant just go out and by it all at once.

I have used rent a canter for years 5 in fact. Was always on time and never late on a single payment not once! They called me weekly asking do I need anything else, and was paying a fortune in monthly payments. I discovered Aarons and the payments were much lower and customer satisfaction in my opinion is top rate. The Statesville, North Carolina Aarons on Sullivan rd has the best employees always so friendly nice and courteous. They have taken care of every need concern and question I have been with them 3 years now and never been late on a single payment but I imagine if I ever were they would work with me as always. The furniture and electronics I have rented to own from Aarons is also top rate name brand great quality items and brands I am happy with and everything I have purchased I have had not a single problem with in over the 3 years I have done business with them everything looks works and is great as when it was delivered to my door. I have a business and own my home but filed bankruptcy some years back and it hurt my credit a bit so if I had not had Aarons I may not have been able to buy such things as said unless I spent the total sum of cost outright or had a down payment to make. Luckily my payments monthly are low especially compared to rent a center for example I purchased a 65" uhd4000 web os LG smart tv for 129 a month at rent a center I was paying 150 a month for a 50" regular smart tv same 24 month time on both,......wow right in my humble opinion and deduction rent a center cannot compare in any way to Aarons,,,,,,,thanks for giving me the opportunity and pleasure to do business with you and make purchases based on promised monthly payments. Very poor quality, rented faulty appliances, Aaron's will not come pick them up so I can replace with others

I live in New Jersey and have been dealing with Aaron's for 2 years. I recently got injured at work and was unable to pay I do understand that if you don't pay that they will come and get your items. I clearly understand but when the company starts to call your job and keep calling and hanging up that become a problem. not only am I injured now I got fired because someone wanted to keep calling my job over a conversion that had already ended and they got mad and wanted to yell at me because I was unable to pay and told them to come get it. she still wanted to play on the phone at my ex job.

I leased a bedroom set from Aaron's a few months ago. I'm twenty and got my first apartment and obviously had nothing to my name. I literally tried every other avenue except for Aaron's before I had to go to them because I heard about how bad it was, but being so young and having no family and no credit, I had no other choice.

Right away I wasn't able to make the payments. I called and setup an arrangement the first few times. After that my car was totaled and I had to pay thousands of dollars to get a new one.

My car payments, cell phone bill, rent, everything was put on hold. I contacted Aaron's and said I couldn't pay for 3-4 weeks and they told me I was SOL and that I was stealing the merchandise.

Today while I was working (I work from home, my desk is right in front of my window which was open) some reps came by from Aaron's to take the merchandise.

They said it was stolen and they would call the police to escort them into my apartment if I didn't let them in. I was working as I do and was on the phone with one of my customers at the time. I clock in and out of my job and my lunch wasn't for another hour and a half.

I told them I would get in major trouble for leaving my desk during my work hours. My manager would see my activity on my trace report and I would get disciplinary action.

They stood outside my window harassing me, calling me a thief, a petty "white girl" and started looking in my windows noting all of my other expensive possessions like my computers that I use for work saying I had some "pretty nice expensive Mac computers" and that they "didn't understand why I couldn't afford to pay them".

(Obviously not my own computers my company gave them to me for work)

They banged on my Windows and banged on my door loudly, repeatedly and tried yelling at me through the window even though I could clearly see them.

I was on the verge of tears trying to continue working and trying to negotiate with them by opening my window.

They said they weren't leaving until they got the items.

I had to work with them outside of my window for over an hour before I could let them in. All the while while their store manager who wasn't there was texting me threatening me to let them in or else.

It was so embarrassing and awful. Eventually I put my customer on hold, opened the door and let them into the bedroom to seize the things while I had to get back on the phone.

They dumped all my things across the floor and took the bedroom set. I think they were embarrassed themselves when they came into my apartment they saw I had NO other furniture except the bedroom set I got from them.

The only nice thing about it was getting a text from one of the reps later who said, "Keep your head up."

I am on my 4th purchase with Aarons and up until a few months ago was satisfied with my experience. Ever since the manager [redacted] left the store at 19th Ave and Bell in Phoenix, AZ I have had nothing but problems. I am on a fixed income and my check posts on a different date each month, sometimes it is a few days after my due date. When [redacted] was manager, only 1 call was necessary to let them know what day I would make the payment and I would not receive any phone calls after that. Apparently now, they have employees that can neither read or write as I get 2 to 3 calls a day even after letting them know what day I can pay, and will get a call early on the day I promised to pay, before my check even posts. This month I have an extreme case, I have let them know 3 times I am at the hospital with my granddaughter who is in ICU and I get at least 2 calls a day from them even asking them not to blow up my phone. I have filed a complaint with corporate now.

This review concerns the Aaron's Rental Center located in Somersworth, NH, 03868. It is in regards to a Christmas gift payment I had made to them on behalf of my son, [redacted], in December of 2015. Through conversation on the phone, I learned what my son's normal monthly payment was, which was between $60 and $70. I made a payment of $100 for him. I later learned that they took nearly half of that payment in service charges and interest, which apparently is what happens to a "normal" monthly payment. I did not make a "normal" monthly payment, nor was I informed it would make a bigger difference in my son's balance due to split my gift payment across two months in order to lessen the effect of service and interest charges, which would be the option with the most integrity. Instead, they kept silent and pocketed the enormous difference. That is extremely poor business practice! These Rental and Rent-to-Own business are the worst places to do business. They have absolutely no ethic, integrity, or honor to do the right thing. I have never, ever done business with them. I always warn anybody even thinking of working with them to go elsewhere or find another way or go without--including my son. What I want is for some of that ridiculous service and interest charges that were taken from that one large payment to be applied to my son's future balance due. They should be ashamed of themselves for not being more informative to me when I called to make this gift payment amount!

I had been a customer of Aarons but I was terrified the way they treat us.I bought a bed on August 6,2016.The mattress is new but the headboard is used. I noticed a discoloration on the mattress cover by the foot of the headboard after a month,I am not worried about it, thinking it was new until we saw crawling on top of our comforter. I t was confirmed a bed bug. I asked Aaron to help us the treatment since we get the bed from them but they say it didnt come from them,neither to us.So I called the corporate to help me out, about the problem,they say the same thing.I put all the bed bugs in a ziplock bag.And contact a professional pest control.No cooperation from the staff of Aarons,very disappointed,they want us to dumped the bed but continue paying it,well here,I got all the bed bugs in a ziplock and a picture of it to take it to media.

My overall experience with Aarons in jacksonville tx is POOR! Dryer stopped working after I made a payment. Called Aarons they said that they would be out saturday, I called them, and no one put my name down. They told me that It would be Monday morning 12/28/15 before they could come, they did not show poor poor poor costumer service, wish I could get my money back. They told me that they couldn't get here till after 4, so I said to come pick it up, then they say they will pick it up this a.m sounds bogus to me!

I have had the worse experience with Arron's here in Oklahoma City the general manger [redacted] and his boss [redacted] they have not been able to resolve my problem. Long story short I rented to own BRAND NEW furtinure my house got broken into I moved out right away and did not know what to do with my sofa so I called Arron's to see what we can do I was told they had a ware house where they would store my furtinure until I was ready with no cost they inform me it would be secure by the sales representive and I would have no problem getting them back of course after 3 months later they were wrong they don't have a storage and they SOLD my furtinure without my permission Iam beyond frustrated with this company with the management horrible I defiantly would not suggest anyone to go there. Not to mention I was almost through with the payments oh and if I do happen to want furtinure from them I only have one choice hahaha the used furtinure I been trying to reach out to head quarters to Someone other than the Oklahoma management from Arron's I been dealing with they have no care about what happen and from what they said "it's not there fault someone in there store told me wrong information" obviously there needs some training in there store if I don't hear back from anyone I will have to hire a lawyer I will stand out the store and tell people about my experience with Arron's!!!!

I have been going to Aaron's for year's just paid off two of my items and was working on two more,But just recently I have had problems with some of the employees well one of the employees,He is rude, and can be smart with the customer's with out you really knowing it,And it sad to say someone in a business like Aaron's to have a rude person like him,But I will say I am taking my business elsewhere..

What to say that Aaron in Burlington Iowa is not a very understanding place to have people get stuff cause my husband and daughter was in a very bad motorcycle accident I called and talk to Jake store manger and he said that I could keep my stuff just pay what I could each month until I could go back to work then on 8-19-16 Jake came to my house and told me I had to come up with 400 hundred dollars on the 3of September to keep all my stuff then on 8-22-13 he called my husband and said they are coming to get my stuff in Friday ur employees and management needs to stop lying to there customers I am going to tell all my friends and family that has stuff through Aaron to let it all go back and go somewhere else to rent there stuff

During a delivery arrons employee stole my wife's jewelry ,we called the police all the right things ,arrons has still not fired him and come to find out there delivery people can have a criminal record and this particular one does ,and they have yet to even call me

The Aarons where I'm from l the workers are extremely rude and unprofessional as well as the manager. they take forever to come get there stuff and call non stop with threats. I will never do business with them again.
