My husband and I were stereotyped by the regional manager and whoever else in the Aaron store on Two Notch Rd., his name is Marcus. Have anyone else ever had any problems with this?? I can't believe that Aaron's would hire someone in a high position such as a regional manager that would actually tell a customer that he felt that we would not make their payments and pretty much that we would basically steal their merchandise. This is after we had already paid our down payment and haven't even gotten the merchandise yet!!!! This is the first and last time that we will do business with Aaron's, because they DO NOT TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS FAIR...AND THE REGIONAL MANAGER IS MAKING AN [redacted] OUT OF THEIR COMPANY....WE WILL BE GETTING A REFUND AND DOING BUSINESS ELSEWHERE....TO A COMPANY WHO DON'T STEREOTYPE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND KNOWS HOW TO CONDUCT PROFESSIONALISM WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! I WISH I CAN GIVE THEM NO STARS BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY DESERVE!!!

First off I did not go to Aarons rents because I did not have credit. They had what I was looking for and I could not find it at any other store in town. When I went to purchase my fridge from them they did not have it in stock and had to order it. I specifically asked if I did the paper work that day if my payment would start that day or when I received the product and was told my payment would be on the 15th of the month after I received the product. DID NOT HAPPEN 2 weeks after I had the product I started getting Harassing phone calls asking if I was going to pay my bill. that was in august 2016 and I made a payment for 11/1/2016 today and was told I had to pay 5.00 more because of their mistake in August. NOT A GOOD BUSINESS
I will tell any one that asks my opinion.

I recently visited the store on a Saturday afternoon and wasn't greeted by anyone. The store appeared filthy and out of order, furniture thrown in a corner and very dark. I approached the counter and spoke to a Chrissy to ask for help looking for a product. She acted like I put her out for having to help me. I left the store and bought furniture at a competitor. I then placed an order online for a washer and dryer. According to the communication from the website which I have screenshots, said that I would receive a call from the store within 2-3 business days to setup delivery. I waited and called the evening of the 2nd business day to see what the process was. I talked to Shamika who was very unprofessional at the least. I feel as if she treated me like I owed her money. I am a new account who just talked to her for the first time. When I asked for corporate number she put me on hold for about 5 minutes and got back on and rattled the number off, not one time did she ask if she could help with anything or to see if she could understand the issue. She then came back with " So do you want to hold off on scheduling delivery until you talk to corporate", I then asked what did that have to do with the scheduling of my product. We then scheduled delivery for the following day. When the washer and dryer arrived the delivery guy Evan ( who was actually very good and kind) told me that there was no hoses because they were out and had been for a few days. Nobody told me this, and Shamika never mentioned. I then had to leave and go buy hoses to have my washer hooked up. This whole experience has been horrible and very unprofessional. I am very displeased and hope someone will at least take responsibility and contact me. I will hold off on sharing to social media to see what happens. I work in a business professional environment and this was very upsetting.

My boyfriend purchased a tv from Aaron's in June and we set up and agreement to make payments and the payments would be auto drafted from our account. Each payment would be $35 and some change . A couple days later an Aaron's called and said if we completed a survey that was emailed to us giving all positive ratings they would take 20 to 25 dollars off of our first payment . The survey was completed and he called to let them know it was completed. July came and the full amount of 35 dollars was taken out so he called and made them aware, they apologized and said we would have no payment in August but sure enough they took out the full amount. I feel like it was a scam to get good feedback because in reality they aren't a professional business. After our tv is paid off we will never be purchasing anything from Aaron's again.

I need 3 on your side help I rented a bed from Aarons and I was a little behind on a payment because of the holidays I was on the phone with my sick uncle when one of the workers name José from Aarons came to the door it was 8 pm at night it's just me and my 3 year old son at home I had just got out the shower he was laying in bed watching TV so I went to the store told him to hold on I guess I was taking too long for him so he started kicking my door I went to the door me and my child was so afraid I open the door and told him I was going to call the police he said go head they can't do anything my baby was leaning on the door he kick the door and now my 3 year old son have a [redacted] eye he kicked my rug over I had my house key under the run I don't know if he took it or not my door is broke and called me a [redacted]

I do not like their professionalism and the play on words. When I was told to supply them with "references" I did that. Come to find out (after constantly harassing my family), the correct terminology that SHOULD be used is "point of contact" and not "references" so that people are more aware of what the so called "references" are REALLY used for. That is a play on words, very unprofessional and sketchy. I told them about them harassing my mom and my brother during their work hours could get them in trouble or perhaps fired. The store manager was rude and kept interrupting me and left very upset at the end of call. Thank goodness that I kept my respect and professionalism (due to the military), but it would appear that most businesses such as this one does not practice good customer service. If I would have known or if the correct terminology was used, I would have understood what the information that I provided them was really used for and I would have gave them a different point of contact instead of so-called "references". A play on words is like lying to the customers and that is not a way to do business. If they were completely honest with me, I would have explained to them not to call during certain times because of work. Just because someone provides you with a telephone number does not give someone the right or any business the right to constantly harass someone during all types of times of the day.

My husband does not like the late charges are applied after he paid more than half of the payment. and he was charged 10% of the full payment when they agreed to what he gave them. Then he told them (the second time he called) to come and get the furniture since they are unprofessional about it and then all of a sudden after debating with them the first time he called, now they were ready to waive the so-called mandatory late fees. They also have a major issue with communicating with one another and when they harass you (by keep calling everyone listed), they speak with such disrespect towards you until you get fed up and say come get the stuff.

I had a horrible experience with the Aarons in St. Robert Missouri. I had a serious illness and was not staying in my house due to needing someone to take care of me. The location I was at was located in another town. Aarons called on Friday and I let them know I was out of town and would have to have a family member meet them and let them in my house to return a washer and dryer. I had not talked with family yet so I did not set up a time for it to be picked up. On Monday I was informed that my back door was standing open. I did not receive a phone call to arrange for Aarons to meet someone at my home. When entering the house the washer and dryer was missing. I had security cameras located in my house and had the cards pulled to see who had entered my house without permission. On the camera I captured a Aarons employee in my house and it snapped picture of him looking though my stuff not related to the washer and dryer but personal belongings on my entertainment center. They took shelves and moved around and threw clothes that were in the dryer all of the floor. I called and they confirmed that they did enter the property and took the washer and dryer. I have contacted the police and have started the process to press charges.

I had an account here for year and some change. Today I paid these people $279. I had purchased furniture from this place that cost me $1500 it was used. I have waited a year for someone to fix the leather that has now torn. Today I call to speak with Mike which is the SUPERVISOR. I had asked a week ago for someone to come out and pick up the end tables and coffee table that they had to bring to me 2x because the furniture was badly damaged. So they tried to sell it to me anyways. The reason I am writing this review is because I the customer had to remind the supervisor that I was trying to understand my account. I didn't understand why $279.95 was going to the tables that I want to return. I had scheduled someone to come get them Monday. The Sofas I had purchased I have waited over 7 months for someone to fix the leather that is now torn. I was told when I purchased them they would be fixed still waiting. Th Supervisor Mike ended up cussing me out telling me he does not want my account there, he doesn't want to work with me, I asked to speak with his boss told me no! He refused. So I cussed him out. Mike quote on Quote stated to come to the store and cuss him out and he would kick my [redacted]. I had to state multiple times Mike I am trying to work with you. He refused my business. Swore up and down he was going to come take all the furniture back because he doesn't like me. Quote " doesn't give a st about my account" "He was gonna kick my [redacted]" Hung the phone up on me. I will never buy from this place again and I was warned before I came the first time. The 1st year was great. Mike used to be a nice guy. Seemed like someone was going through some personal issues but was taking it out on customers. Please folks be-careful with this place. I recommend going to the one on Merrill road or May port. Aaron's went downhill here in Jacksonville when Cora left. Looking to the competitors at least they may offer more friendly service. In shock. Never thought a business would be ran this way.

Absolute worse place to buy anything from. Associates are rude! I have made payments on my furniture for over a year now. A month ago it was $156 to pay it off. After another $55 payment it was $133 to pay it off. This week it is $197 to pay it off. I returned a tv to the store because they pulled the same cap with it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!

I am so tired of all the issues with Aarons they have not been honest from day 1!! I was looking for chairs and Ashley told me if I buy a chair I can get the chair, tv and stand for $99 a month.
Then after we picked out the tv to choose from, she already knew what chairs then she said oh we dont have those chairs in stock so we cant offer the special.
she promised they would be delivered 1st thing the next day, I called to verify when they would be there she said she would call me right back. 2 hrs later in the afternoon I called back only to get the run around. At 5 she said it would be the next day.
Don't trust anything they say.
I was setting up my due date I said the 15th cause I get paid on the 3rd. They said If I set it up for the 1st as long as I pay by the 3rd it wont be late. ha ha why on earth did I trust them another lie!! I pay online and am charged late fees each month.
This company is not trust worthy. Once they get a contract customer service is not there, they do not care about customers. Only about greedy money eaters.

RIP OF! Paid $3,360.00 for a $800 fridgerator.

ive been leasing stuff from my local Aarons in Johnstown since they open I was one of the biggest customer at that store with a bill of a grand a month never had a problem with matt the store manger he is the best thank u matt and Aarons now iam back there after 2 years

I rented a dinning room set from Aaron's and had set up ach payments with my Bank, but during the time I have done been a great CUSTOMER, but I will NEVER AGAIN go to AARONS they took my money said the Bank gave them a bad check, I have been harraissed, hung-up on, lied to over phone, I would pay for things and promised receipts through my emails that NEVER came

I have leased from this company for about 5 years. No payment issues once so ever. The moment that we do hit a hardship because my wife hit unpaid maternity leave, they are VERY numb in the department of Customer Relations. When I in fact say I can make the full payment on the 3rd of the month mind you that I only ended up one payment 2 weeks behind, you get ran down over the phone. They have no since of retention and they act as gods gift. Even though I stated that I will make full payment including late fees 2 weeks late, still get the harassing phone calls as well as my family. I do not recommend rent from the store in Waterville Maine. When a customer asks " what am I suppose to do, its gonna be two weeks late but it will be paid in full am I suppose to cancel the lease. The response from the "ACCOUNT MANAGER" Are you gonna be around tonight so we can pick the stuff up?. I think that all the management there needs Customer Relations classes and they talk to you like your the sm of the earth. Im sorry but im going to collage to finish up my Masters degree. and with me leasing like I do pays there pay check.. They had one of the best managers there but he ended up going to the Bangor Location. Once this is done and over with they have lost a loyal customer. These "Satellite stores" that are privately owned are dragging down your corporarte business slowly..

Arron's furniture store called me looking for a old friend I asked them 5 times to stop calling me the guy yelled and hung up phone 20 min later another guy called did same thing they keep harassing me like I owe them money ! Phone records don't lie!

We have been doing business for years with them. This is the last straw. We realize they did not contact corporate 4 weeks ago that our [redacted] Desktop did not work. We contacted them immediately. 3 weeks later Grayling came out Said nope it don't work, will call you in the morning. I called 7 times and my husband 3 and I finally got our Grayling on the phone. Not knowing or told my husband has called from work n just talked to him. Gracie LIED AND SAUD SHE WAS ON THE PHONE. NO THEY WAITED TILL THE LEASE TERM WAS UP N I BET YOU TOMORROW THEY SHOW UP TO GET THE COMPUTER N PUT A BAD GLITCH ON US. WHY DO I SAY THAT? BECAUSE CORPORTATE CALLED US YESTERDAY ABOUT PAYMENT. WAIT WE PAID FRIDAY. We pay always. BUT THEY STOOD US UP WEEK AFTER WEEK TILL TIME WAS UP. THEY WERE TO BE HERE last Thursday AGAIN TO PICK IT UP. I GUARANTEE SINCE LEASE TIME IS UP THEY WILL BE OUT TOMORROW BUT NO WE WONT KET TGAT HAPPEN. MY HUSBAND BOXED IT UP AND TAKING IT BACK AFTER NO KESS THAN 18 CALLS FROM HIM AND 2 IN STORE VISITS, AND 13 CALLS FROM me, all about this desktop.
They misrepresented our lawnmower as NEWER UNIT n it was 2004. Our dishwasher NEVER WORKED. THE THEN BENT THE DOOR ON A TRIP back to our home with it n it never worked and after there many many times of it in the shop n bringing it back not working, the warranty was up, and to fix it would have to get a new warranty. What, you never fixed it. I let my husband get STOLEN FROM TOO MANY TIMES AND I AM DONE.
KY 2B10INCH GALAXY TABS, JUST PAID ONE OFF FRIDAY AND NEITHER WORKED, ONE I PAID FOR CAUSE GOT IT ON LOAN AFTER MY FIRst YON WOULD NOT COME ON AFYER THENTH TIME. Well, I bumped it the day n it cracked the whole shield. Never got to use it, was to be given a discount. Was not n then they never ever got my first tablet to work right. The stove rushed out the whole bottom after 1 year. The laptop, oh my god, the red laptop. Never ever worked n they kept only saying it was our wifi. We changed companies, wires, boxes, techs but then warranty ran out.
And they call yesterday about a payment for a desktop they were to pick up 4 weeks ago.
Grayling last reason was word for word:, I did not want it to sit at Aaron's here till it got time to go to repair shop.
Oh my.
Now, being of home ownership, tax payers, voters and good character people, I must let you know these things are all true, documented, written down, logged, by us.
Gracie is the worst at lying. The worst. Told me this laptop was all ready paperwork done. I had called about price. She said David could come in n get it like always. Years of always. But wait, he came in n the first time ever had to redo a contract, and he told her I did not want it n it was like we would be putting her out.
What salesman tactics do you teach your people. My own or yours???? Leave the lights on mentality.
This will be posted and reposted on every media I am able to get to over and over and over and over, till I am financially recouped for my distress.
Walled in 2 years ago with my aged mother in law and got her a non Samsung tablet. Well, found out this Christian, wonderful woman, didn't want to hurt my feelings. It never ever worked. She placed it back in the original box. But when she finally told me, I knew warranty would be out or nearly out.
She us 83 now.
Oh my, what, do you get refurbished or returned electronics in bulk as do grocery stores get damaged products at food discounts for the public to buy.
I demand respect for the belief we had in Aaron's, the way we took care of our business with them. The lies told to us over and over. The nasty phone calls at his job when we paid. Such as Saturday.
The bull, the way my husband tried to believe in them with their fake how you doing Mr So an so when you walk in the door to try n make Aaron's seem like a caring and upright business that cares about how hard it's customers work and their products are of quality. They do not have quality products.
My hand on the Bible.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Aarons. I do not recommend them to anyone. I purchased a chair / recliner and decided to send back. I had always always paid 15 days in advance of my next due payment. I paid June 1,2016, which took me to July 15. I had the chair picked up on Saturday June 11,2016. Therefore my chair was paid for in advance from May 1. I asked about a credit of the July payment. I was told and quote " I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR TEN YEARS AND NEVER HAVE I EVER REFUNDED MONEY BACK". Therefore, I lost a whole month of a payment and DO NOT HAVE THE CHAIR. This is wrong and I feel like I was robbed. This store is located in Warrensburg MO. Do not rent from these people unless you want poor management, your money stolen and out of a product.

Employees are very rude. I called to pay up on my bill and try to figure out when my next payment was due. The lady got rude with me and wouldn\'t let me talk. I didn\'t understand what she was saying or explaining but she still wouldn\'t let me talk. I asked to speak with a guy that I usually speak with named Rich that is usually great. He explained the situation and then I did understand him. Then I continued to tell him how the lady was being rude and he disagreed, he then started to be rude. So I just asked him how much more I owed to pay the bill off so I wouldn\'t have to deal with Arron\'s anymore because of the rudeness. I then payed off the entire bill. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ARRONS. I usually go to rent a center and they are great but decided to try ARRONS out but I\'m very disappointed and will have to continue to go to rent a center again next time I need something!

When I moved, I "purchased" a dining set since I've never had one. In the first 3 weeks I received MULTIPLE calls saying I was past due -- even though I paid for a full month in advance. After I spoke to SEVERAL people (including the store manager), who claimed they would adjust my due date on the account, I still received MORE calls after my next payment on automatic draft. They had me sign an extension to make the "so called adjustment" and LOST my paperwork so I had to resign it a second time! Long story short ... I paid off my item early and now its MINE! Tip: NEVER rent (to own) anything from Aaron's!
