I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  Supershuttle Inc. has agreed to refund my round trip fare while until now I only received the one-way fare. I will wait until for the business to perform this action as they promised.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I returned a phone call from [redacted] from Super Shuttle's Advocacy Dept. on 3/11/2014.  My complaint was assigned the following number by Super Shuttle: [redacted].  On 3/12/2014, I again attempted to reach [redacted] and was successful.  I had a lengthy conversation with [redacted] from the main office.  She professed her apologies with my concerns regarding our terrible experience.  She offered and has actually refunded us $148.00 to cover 1 part of the drive.  [redacted] also assured me that she was going to contact the Houston, TX office to attempt to get us the rest of our requested refund.  She stated that she, herself would be in touch with me in 10 days from our conversation with a response to my request for the additional refund.  She validated my concerns and stated that the issues I complained about were in no way acceptable and again apologized for our horrible experience.  Unfortunately, Super Shuttle franchises out to their drivers and I can certainly see how difficult it would be to maintain continuity.  That being said our experience was flawed not only with our horrible experience of waiting for a shuttle, but also with our many phone calls to many different people to gain resolution.  I ask that this complaint not be closed until I get the final response from [redacted] from the Advocacy Department for Super Shuttle as I will only be satisfied with a complete refund of our entire cost as we incurred far more costs in relation to missing our flight than the entire cost of the Super Shuttle reservation.

SuperShuttle has contacted me directly regarding complaint ID [redacted]. They took my complaint seriously, are taking steps internally to have the issue resolved for myself and for future customers, and have offered me a refund of my fare. I accept their response as more than sufficient.

Thank you for providing the information pertaining to complaint #[redacted] for [redacted] and allowing us the opportunity to research their complaint.  SuperShuttle has contacted the customer and has again informed the customer of SuperShuttle’s terms concerning lost and left behind items as stated on our website. Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and any items placed by themselves or SuperShuttle representatives in the van. SuperShuttle and its operators are not liable for lost items left behind in the vehicle by a customer. SuperShuttle assumes no liability in the event of damage, loss or theft of any such property and will not be responsible for losses incurred, including but not limited to, loss of future profit, potential income, and additional expenses or losses incurred as a result of lost or stolen baggage or personal property. SuperShuttle will not be compensating for left behind item.
