peripheralsHe is requesting to either provide him thelifetime support for one computer or refund the amount he originally paid??Account research regarding this complaint shows that Support By Techies is focused on delivering a wide choice of solutions and the best possible experience to our customersBe assured that Support By Techies has not "misled" the customerThe company aims to consistently deliver professional service to our customers andwe provided services in this case also as mentioned by the customer. A lot of what they discuss is not true & never occurred the way they stated in rebuttal, but since they are refunding my charge I will accept that*** was on the first day, as well as the second day, there was no escalation as they say, I watched their every move & could see he was on since they took over my computer, just incompetence & refusal to discontinue, after making an excuse the office was closed & they couldnt issue a refund at the timeAs far as a statement, they actually typed in the words after I was coerced into doing soOne of the worst experiences I've had with these "techies" in New Delhi, who conducted themselves very unprofessional, even talking back to me in a derogatory toneI will never do business with this organization again & will steer clear any friends I have that require help with *** printers in the futureAvoid this bunch at all costs!

This is with reference to message received on Friday, April 8, regarding response from Support by Techies. I, *** ***, am not disputing that I contacted Support by Techies on February 2, concerning issues with my printer/computer, nor am I disputing the positive feedback given immediately following completion of services renderedFurthermore, I am not disputing payment authorization of $on my *** *** credit cardAs to the response of contact with *** *** by Support by Techies, I cannot confirm as I have not received any further information from *** ***. Personally, I had no reason for concern or alarm until I received the call from *** informing me of software corruption pertaining to the very purchase and all its details on February 2, through Support by Techies. However, the actions which led to this complaint are very real*** (name of representative) is the same individual that I started with on February 2, when services were purchased and rendered with excellence and professionalism*** is the same individual at the center of the problems that followed under the guise Support by Techies. I continue to be at a loss to understand how in the process of supposedly refunding monies charged for the February 2, purchase that an unpaid debt of $has been forwarded to TRS collection agency as a result. I don’t think anyone can disagree that something is definitely very wrong in proceedings that resulted (per submitted documents) since receiving the call from *** concerning corruption of software and supposedly refunding of monies charged to *** ***. Thus, I can only attest to what’s been presented to me and hope for a resolution that clears my name, and the questionable debt all without negative impact to my credit rating as a result from the stated issues submitted to *** *** *** Sincerely,*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me However, I disagree with how the company represented the facts of the situation.The "advertisement" they mentioned was a pop up window designed to look like an error message This pop up created two impressions First, it created the impression that something was wrong with my computer In truth nothing was wrong Second, since error messages only come from software applications or operating systems, this pop up created the impression that I was dealing with *** Computer or at least an affiliated company When I called the number listed in the pop up, the person on the phone directed me to a web page on the *** website This page displayed my computer's warranty information By taking me to this page they reinforced the impression that I was dealing with *** They only told me their own company's name after they had thoroughly embedded the impression of *** affiliation.Their actions and words were intentionally calculated to deceive customers while legally protecting themselves.After much arguing they agreed to cancel the charges to my credit card For that reason, in spite of their dishonest conduct, I find the matter resolved I am not interested in further action at this time

I am rejecting this response because: they seemed to feel that the most important thing was that I wanted a refund. And they did offer a partial refund of $and I said I would accept this. However, my first fear was that they would misuse my credit card. So, I didn't want them to have access to it even for the time to process the refund. The bank blocked any future transactions with them and I was issued a new card number. Two days ago I did receive a full refund into my account so the bank did accept a credit to my account. The basis of the complaint was that they presented themselves as "HP Support". The only way you don't know this is if you had some reason to ask them. All my notes say" today I ..abcfrom HP support". When I actually talked to HP support I found out it was free for mos and Iwas only six months into that warranty. And they were the ones who told me to report a fraud to my bank. the tech spent a lot of time with remote help but after 5hours+ I said we would have to continue the next day. Meanwhile the next morning the sale of my server was announced and the problem disappeared. When the tech called I did not tell him it was fixed; I told him what had happened and that the problem was resolved by other means. I also "signed" the contract as he rushed though it remotely on my screen and the same thing to close the case. Bear in mind that I thought they were actually HP technical help. They, did not tell me they were not HP. so, that is what I want to warn people about. be sure who you are talking to and be aware you have free HP technical help for months and then can extend that for a fee. I paid them for a one-time fix and for a one year help with software problems. I feel they are shady and deceiving. KNOW who you are talking to

I am rejecting this response because: When I paid the $it was not for a one time service I was told it was lifetimeI call a few months later and they said the service was year but the virus protection was lifetime which was not what I understood the $to coveyIf it is for a year I got this in Oct of last near and have still had no support for monthI received a few call from a technician but when I call back I was told I no longer had support it was only for monts I would neverf have signed up and paid $fro only months support

Support by Techies never sent me any refund despite repeated requests by phone and the chat window they placed on my desktopEverytime I requested a refund the chat window magically closed
