Do not recommend investing if you are a senior. You need to be a professional and know what you are doing. Transferred money from IRA, was not given clear explanation of the process. Many phone calls of great urgency to invest because gold is "low" right now. After sending money, phone calls dropped off. VERY high markup-- 28%.. will take YEARS to make money back. They won't even consider refunds, you can exchange but at the same mark up, unless you are under 50 years old and can wait 5 years plus to make money, don't invest with them, or just buy bullion.

They prey on the elderly and advertise through scare tactics!

I moved out of state a few years ago and recently began purchasing precious metals from a local company. As they got busy, they repeatedly failed to return my calls. I called Brian Conneely at Swiss America, having known him from my previous social circles when I lived in Arizona. I ordered some precious metals from him and must say, his responsiveness, understanding of the market, and his professionalism was well beyond what I had experienced locally, The product was shipped to me in a timely manner and I was very happy with the results. I will definitely use Brian again.

I had a great experience. The experts and Swiss America have a wealth of knowledge and experience that helped guide me in the right direction.

I have personally bought from Larry and Jeff several times, they have always been very professional they're always very helpful and I appreciate the business relationship

My husband and I have been extremely satisfied with the customer service we have

I am in receipt of the complaint that Swiss America client [redacted] filed with the Bureau. have reviewed his file and the taped confirmation in which Mr. [redacted] acknowledged the costs, risks and buyback spreads for his IRA purchase. I have included a copy of the invoice as well as the taped lock-in...

for your review. I am confident after reading my reply that the Bureau will find this complaint to be unjustified and full of false accusations.Swiss America was first in contact with Mr. [redacted] on June 1, 2012.  He was referred to us by his brother.  Mr. [redacted] states in his complaint that he opened an account with us on 3-10-14 with $9,000.00 taken from an existing IRA account.  The actual amount that was sent to us, at his direction, was $8745.00.  He had funded his account at GoldStar with $8800.00, however, only $8745.00 was used for his purchase with us.  I have enclosed a copy of his [redacted] paperwork for your review.  His Social Security number has been blacked out for his privacy.Since his complaint has to do with customer service, I want to point out to you his statement "...after they had my money, they would not return my phone calls, of which there were many." Our records indicate Mr. [redacted] called in to Swiss America on 04-07-14 at 09:59:54 and Mr. [redacted] returned his phone call on 04-07-14 at 11:14:03.  The duration of this  conversation lasted 14.3 minutes.  Mr. [redacted] also attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] again on 04-08-14 at 11:14:49 and left a message that lasted 1.23 minutes. As of today, Mr. [redacted] has not attempted to contact us to have any questions answered.  I have attached our internal records that verify this information.Mr. [redacted] also states in his complaint that [redacted] "told me what he was buying with my money.  I was not given an option as to what I wanted."  The IRS only allows certain metals to be held in IRA accounts.  Mr. [redacted] does not have any control over the type of metals allowed.  I have attached two pages directly from GoldStar Trust Company, which is the Trust that Mr. [redacted] directed his purchase through.  You will see the explanation of Allowable  Metals as well as examples of allowable and unacceptable precious metals.Mr. [redacted]'s desired settlement states he "would like to have my money back, with the interest I lost due to it being taken out of my first IRA, which is making me a profit." As stated in our Shipping and Transaction Agreement #4 -All sales are final.  I have attached Mr. [redacted]'s signed copy of this agreement.  In his taped lock-in (attached} you will hear him confirm his understanding that his transaction with us was non-cancelable. As with any investment, there are risks.  In your review of Mr. [redacted]'s taped lock-in you will hear him confirm his understanding of this fact. Also, in his signed Shipping and Transaction Agreement you will notice #10c states ... customer acknowledges that the Numismatic and Precious Metals market can be volatile and the prices of both may rise or fall over time...  Mr. [redacted] invested in our market with full disclosure of any risks involved.  His dissatisfaction with our Company is based solely on the fact that his portfolio value has declined, to which we have no control over.  Swiss America does not control market movement, whether favorable or otherwise, and offers no guarantees of market performance to our clients.One of the most important measures of any investment is it's liquidity and Swiss America leads the industry in our 30 year buyback history.  At any time, whether now or in the future, if Mr. [redacted] would like to liquidate his portfolio, he may do so at current bid values.Thank you for taking the time to review my response to this complaint.  I am certain you will find that Swiss America has done everything properly involving each aspect of Mr. [redacted]'s transaction and has abided to all aspects of the firm's agreement with the client.If you need anything further, please do no hesitate to contact me.Respectfully,[redacted]

Swiss America Trading Corporation owes it great name to representatives like Brian Conneely. I have been dealing from Brian for several years, now. He has always been very professional, knowledgable, and educational. I say educational because many places are happy to write up an order, but aren't always eager to spend time with you explaining the nuances of silver and gold. Brian is always happy to answer questions and fill in the blanks. In addition to these fine attributes, Brian is also personable and courteous, which is important to every customer. It is the glue which develops relationships.

I have had multiple dealing's with Swiss America, All times I have dealt with Greg Terrmaine & Richard Cromwell,These guy's have been a great help. They are very knowledgable and know their stuff. They have answered all my question's and helped make my purchases hassle free.
