Good afternoon; in regards to [redacted]'s complaint, the deposit was refunded to his credit card ending in [redacted] on May 2nd 2014 at 15:17:38. Typically it may take a few business days for the credit to appear in the customer's statement. I will send [redacted] an email with a copy of the refund confirmation immediately.

I also must add to the the negative experiences in dealing with this TnT NC company.

Sad but true ,they will rip you off, they will take your money. They will cheat you.

Nothing good or beneficial is in this carport scam.

Review: I have been fighting with these people since my carport was installed in November, 2013. The port was installed (in the dark) incorrectly. The company, after many phone calls and emails, finally sent a crew on two separate occasions to fix the issues. All they accomplished was to make them worse. On the first return visit they sent a three man crew - two of them stayed in the service truck and slept while one man worked. The second crew they sent (again, after multiple emails and phone calls)did another botched job. I sent photo after photo with my emails to show the damage. Finally they sent a shop foreman to my house and he said he agreed that were some problems that needed attention. He said "someone " would contact me in a few days - that was a month ago. I have lost 4 vacation days and countless hours of overtime meeting these people to oversee the work and I'm fed up. I am posting my experience on Facebook for the world to see what a ripoff this place really is. Please help.Desired Settlement: In the last email I sent TNT I gave them 3 choices: 1. Refund my money in full and walk away; I would deal with the mess. 2. Install a new horizontal carport at no expense to me.3. See me in court where I will sue not only for the money I've paid but for the money I have lost taking off work plus the mental anguish and distress I have suffered.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

This company has not even bothered to contact me ... Even after they sent someone out here and that person even told me this was not a very good job and and he would report his findings and someone from there would be contacting and all this took place way before I turned it in to the Revdex.com

Regards,

Delivery was disappointing. Failed to show up or call at 4 pm as agreed as I took off work early. Called at 7 pm & set up 7 am delivery. Took off work again. Did not call or show up until 8:20 am. No concern or apology. Installers were very unprofessional. Called main office with concerns. Was given $62.50 discount in spite of missing 5 hours work and the headache that accompanied it. Two days before install, business had not contacted Town business office to get business permit to install. I felt they only applied for it because Town called them after I applied for permit.

Review: I paid a 10% deposit of $759.28 on 4/9/14 for a garage & installation. Months went by & after several calls they could not give me a delivery date. There were several excuses used, lack of materials, lack of labor, wrong color in stock, & so on... I was finally promised a date of July 31 for the arrival of my garage, I had cancelled my vacation to be here when they arrived. TNT never showed So I asked them repeatedly for a refund. Melissa H[redacted] in accounts payable said she would send a check out, it never showed. I ordered another structure from a different company a week later & I had my building in 6 weeks. I am still waiting for the $759.28 refund that TNT took on deposit from me.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of the deposit, $759.28 Plus the permitting fee I had to pull under TNT's contractors name $250. written to the town of Templeton, Ma.

I also must add to the the negative experiences in dealing with this TnT NC company.

Review: I placed an order for a carport on May 6, 2014 and to this day- July 29th, I am still waiting and they have not given me a date and have no idea when they can fulfill my order. They demand 10% down to place the order and I paid it immediately over the phone. I was told I would get a call to set up the delivery but after 2 wks I did not get a call so I called them, the sales person had put the wrong county and city so I corrected it. (I have already purchased 4 from them, so they had my information) I waited a couple more weeks and did not get a single call from them, so I called and got the run around for two days before being told I would get a call the next week to set it up, I waited the entire week and the beginning of the next week I called again, nobody had any answers. I was told I would get a call back, 3 days later I called again. I was told it would be another week or so. So I waited AGAIN and still no call, so I called last week and was told that they were out of some of the material and have no idea when I will be scheduled, but they would call me. HA! They do NOT call, so I called one last time and asked for a refund of my $151.16 and was told I would get a call back. The only call I got was the one who schedules left a message that she would call me when she could get it scheduled. I have been waiting almost 3 months now. 84 days ago I ordered it and have no appointment date for delivery.Desired Settlement: I want my carport immediately or I want my money back.

Review: I ordered a carport on 11/13/13 from TNT carports. I ordered the basic, most common size (18 x 21) carport. Salesman told me 3 to 5 weeks delivery. I put the required 10% down payment on my cc. They took this payment already, it showed up on my cc statement.11 weeks later (1/29/14) and I'm still waiting on my carport to be delivered. I have left nearly everyone at their company a voice mail, some multiple. Only a couple have returned my calls. I have been in touch with a few people with their company and only receive excuses or empty promises. I have been told at least 3 times by [redacted]) that she was going to try to get it out early next week... Never happened. I planned to install it myself because of some personal options I wanted done to it and the "installers" won't do. So they would just have to deliver my carport. My most common size carport would be made and delivered from [redacted]. I'm in [redacted] (a large service area for them), less than 3 hours away but they don't seem to be able to get a delivery truck out my way for 11 weeks. As of now I'm still waiting on delivery, but have not been given a delivery date.Desired Settlement: To receive my order. The carport and all the parts and supplies that are supposed to be with it to be delivered asap. A discount for the more than double delivery time quoted would be nice.

Subject: Re: A new message is waiting from the Revdex.com of Northwest North Carolina in regards to your complaint #[redacted].

Well my carport was delivered this morning. It was supposed to be in Monday the 3rd (they told me it would be delivered then) so I took off of work to wait for it and it never showed up. Got a call around 8 PM Monday night saying that it would be delivered Tuesday morning. Now I'm disputing with them about me having to take off work because they said it would be delivered Monday but wasn't. They want to give me $50 off because of their mess up. I make more than $50 a day.

I plan to make full payment minus a day of my wages. They said they would turn it over to collections.

Back in 2006, TNT installed a carport for me. At that time, it was through a third party service and I had not big issues with the install. When I needed to close in the unit with a garage door, I decided to call TNT since they had done the original work. I placed an order in June 2014. Weeks went by, and I never heard back from anyone about scheduling, and since I live in a northern climate needed to be sure it was done before winter. In July and August, I called multiple times and spoke with Stephanie and Danielle. Always, I was told someone would call me back to schedule, but no one every did. It was VERY frustrating!! Finally winter arrived with no callbacks, and no garage installation. In January 2015 I was so unhappy, I decided to ask for a refund and cancel the order. This process was exasperating and took twelve phone calls to multiple parties, Stephanie, Danielle, and finally Fidel. Finally, in Febuary 2015, Fidel contacted me, and processed a refund for my deposit. Fidel was pleasant and apologetic, and I shared my serious concerns about the company's service delivery, or lack thereof. I seriously have called this company over twenty times over the last year!! Now it is August 2015, and I cancelled the order back in February. Yesterday, I receive a call from Stephanie to schedule my installation! Over a year later!! Needless to say, I declined the offer. This company does provide a good product, but their business model and service delivery is seriously flawed. I wasted hours of my time dealing with them.

Review: On September 17, 2014 I ordered a metal carport and was told it would be delivered in 6 to 10 weeks. I also had to pay a deposit of 10% that day by credit card. We are now at week 17 and I have still not received my carport. The best part is, I have been called and notified on 3 separate occasions. That they would be coming on a certain day with a time span of either before lunch or after lunch for my installation. They have yet to show up, nor do they ever call and say they aren't coming. I took off work the first time to be home for the install, and my wife has stayed home the last two times. So this has impacted me financially as well. I don't understand how any business, that sells a product, and part of that product is their installation service. Ever hopes to be successful if they don't keep their appointments with there customers, and never follows up with the customer if they can't keep an appointment. Three times we have stayed at home because they notified us they were coming, and have yet to show up, and never follow up to say why. Each time I have had to call to reschedule another install date. My wife has called NUMEROUS times to try and find out when they are coming and all we get is the run around and "we will get back with you". Which they never do. Today I got a call that I had not paid my invoice for my carport. To which I happily responded. I will be happy to pay as soon as you install my carport.Desired Settlement: I just want my garage installed. I ordered it because I need a garage. I know that they have built it. I could request a refund and let them eat the cost of that build, but I WANT the GARAGE. All I ask is someone call and make an appointment for the install, and actually SHOW UP and complete the work. However if something happens that they can't make it that day (ex. weather or something) THEY CALL you and reschedule. I have never seen any business so inefficient, and inconsiderate of customers.

Response:

Good afternoon,TNT Carports, understands Mr. [redacted] placed an order for a carport they have been on schedule several times, one of which the installers called and told them they would be arriving within an hour the installers were informed by customer it was raining in Knoxville so he decided not to do the installation. On the week of January 19th the customer was called again to be put back on schedule for Monday January 26th. When contact was made with customer we advised it would be the first stop so that there would be no more issues the response was very short and indifferent which we clearly understand the frustration. Monday January 26th we made contact with installers around lunch time to make sure installation of Mr. [redacted] was done and he confirmed that it was in fact done that morning. TNT Carports did reschedule appointment and we sincerely apologize but we did do the very best to get customer back on schedule as soon as possible. Thank you,Estephanie M[redacted]

Review: I ordered a carport July 18th. It was supposed to be delivered and installed in 4-6 weeks. It is now Oct. 9th, and I still have no carport. Numerous phone calls go to voicemail and I have not received a call back. Today, the last time I spoke to the company operator, I was put on hold. After waiting nearly 15 minutes, they hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like the carport delivered and installed by the end of October 2013. If that is not possible, I would like a refund of my deposit in the amount of $115.47(One hundred fifteen dollars and forty seven cents).

I called TNT Carports at the recommendation of a friend. I ordered a 24' x 25' building with a 12' lean to in colors that would match my home. The representative required a CC number and a 10% downpayment at the time of ordering. While I was waiting to have concrete poured TNT contacted me several times to schedule the install. I contacted TNT when the concrete was poured and they scheduled the install for 10 days later in order for the concrete to cure. They arrived when scheduled and worked until dark. They showed up the following day and completed the building. I watched them construct the building and was satisfied with their attention to the building being square and level. They answered every question I had and were polite. The finished building matched my home and looks great.

Review: We ordered a carport thru Harvest feed Mill for a TNT carport on 5/29/2014 and asked that be delivered the first week of July . Dozens of unreturned phone calls and we still have no delivery date. Deposit was paid the day we ordered. They did get in touch with me the middle of July and said it would be delivered that weekend or Monday but never gave a date and have not returned any calls. This is costing me time and money.[redacted] ) has tried to help but it appears they get the same run-around. my order number is [redacted] for an 18x21ft carport. TNT carports 336-423-8539 is a phone number that gives a real person who then gives you an answering machine. Thank youDesired Settlement: Carport delivered within one week at my convenience , we had kept the entire month of July open and now I have had surgery. I will have to pay someone now to help me put the floor in I have had for a month. I think a discount of at least $100.00 should also be given for my now out of pocket expenses .

Review: On June 24, 2015 we ordered a barn from Lloyd at TNT carports. We placed a deposit of 196.00 and some change. On the week of August 24 the installers showed up at the property and stayed for just a few minutes. Apparently they tried to contact me on my cell phone and I returned the call numerous times but they never answered. We were told by Valeria the scheduler that we would not need to be present at the time of installation as this is a rental property and I work night shift. Valeria informed me that the installers felt the concrete slab was not level enough to install the 10x10 barn. This is simply not true. We then contacted her manager Stephanie who informed us that she would need to contact the shop foreman and the installers and she would get back with us. It has been 4 days now and we would like our deposit back, as we have not heard from anyone at TNT. We have even took pictures of the slab and sent the pictures to them.Desired Settlement: We would like our deposit refunded.

Response:

Good Morning, TNT Carports, Inc. has received complaint #[redacted] on [redacted]. The customer was on scheduled for install he opted not to be home for installation when the installers arrived the concrete slab was bigger than the building and off square. Without the customer not been at home it is hard for the installer to install something they think may not turn out to the customers satisfaction. The concrete slab was not marked to show the installers exactly where the installation was to take place which makes it even harder, the installer at that point decided to cancel the install and reschedule approximant when customer would be at home. They did leave to next installation on list and where not able to be reached to go back. When customer called the office he spoke to scheduler who at that point tried to explain situation to customer, he at that point advised her he could not understand her and the phone call was forward manager. the phone call was transferred everything was explain to him as well as the non-refund policy he had agreed to when he purchased the unit. At this point customer started with treats we asked for time to get with shop foreman and installer and look further into situation and we would call him back with a definite answer. Customer did not give us time to get with installer nor shop manager he called that same afternoon, he was explained that installer was out for several day before he came to our shop at that point customer was also making phone call to our sales manager Fidel M[redacted]. He actually emailed pictures to Fidel M[redacted] of concrete slab and you can see with the fence the slab is not leveled. TNT those not feel like it has made any break in contract, we made a good faith effort to deliver and install unit and notified buyer at least 24 hours before delivery. The down payment that was put on order was put back on card customer should see back on card with in 2 to 5 business days. Sincerely, Estephanie M[redacted]Customer Service Manager

We have had 2 carports from this company. One at our previous residence, & our most recent one for this home was purchased in 2008. We were very pleased with the entire process, from ordering, to delivery & installation on both carports. We are still happy with this quality product. Thank You T-N-T! ~ Ocala, FL

Review: I ordered a car port from one of their dealers here in Massachusetts on Aug 29 2014. I was told by the dealer it might take six weeks or so. To date I have not received one phone call from them with an install date. I have called them probably five to six times and got a hold of them twice. The first time was probably seven weeks after I ordered. I was told that they only know four days in advance of when they will ship (not sure why though). I asked if I should call back in a week or so. I then called back on Nov 7th and got a hold of someone who told me my order was staged on a truck and they were just waiting for an installer. I then waited another week or so. In the mean time I called the dealer who sold it to me and he was sympathetic, but said there was nothing he could do, although he did call them on one occasion and asked them to at least call me back and let me know what was going on, they agreed to call me, however they never did. Also I filled out the online scheduling form for questions and also never heard back from that avenue either...I have spent a lot of time prepping the area, I had to dig out a slope and even it out. We were expecting the delivery in October and now it's December. I am worried they will say it's to late in the year.Desired Settlement: I know I can get my down payment back from the dealer, but I really want the product I ordered and spent days on prep work delivered. We were expecting to have our cars under this car port for the winter... I have been pleasant on the phone and have tried to be understanding, but it's been going on to long.Any help is appreciated...

Review: I purchase a car port building from T-N-T Carports on 9/22/14 with the understanding that the building would be delivered and installed between 2 and 8 weeks. The sales lady advised that my area is a place the company visits regularly so the wait would probably be sooner. I have left multiple messages with the company to include emails and telephone with no response. It has now been 9 weeks and even the companies supervisors do not return messages and appears as if they will not deliver my carport as contracted.Desired Settlement: I want my carport delivered and installed now or a full refund of my deposit.

Good Afternoon,In reference to [redacted], we understand customer placed order back in on September 16, 2014 and was also contacted November 12,2014 threw November 13, 2014 leaving messages to try to get out on schedule. The return phone call was never made by customer there for we could not set up an appointment with him unfortunately we had to send installers with other buildings that where scheduled. Once the truck load is sent out we need to be able to complete another truck load in the area which could be a couple of weeks out. Customer did call in and spoke to our scheduling department after the truck load was in route and stated that the number he had left with us was his work phone number and he was out of town. [redacted] sales manager also spoke to customer and has got different numbers to be able to get in touch with customer, we will rush order as much as we can and give him as much notice as possible. I am rejecting this response because:The company clearly has my email address that they have used as a secondary method of communication during this lengthy relationship. As an example they quickly sent an email expressing there desire to have me provide "testimony" regarding their performance and product along with other information.

At first it was an estimated 3-4 weeks for delivery. Then 4-6 weeks. then 6-8 weeks. That brings us to today when they said another 2-3 weeks. Also said they wouldn't refund my deposit because "in the contract" they were " only required to make a good faith effort to deliver" my carport. WTH? Good faith effort? they're in the same state as I am, put in on a truck then drive west. And what contract? I ordered by phone. I am so glad I paid my deposit by credit card so I was able to dispute the charges. In conclusion; After T-n-T people got my order they didn't return A SINGLE email or phone message NOT ONCE. When I did get someone on the phone (about 40% of the time) they were uniformly unhelpful and aggressively defensive.

I hate to say this about fellow Tennesseans but these people suck, avoid if at all possible.
