Review: On 5-5-2014 I ordered a metal carport from T-N-T through the dealer in [redacted]. When ordering I was told delivery would be 3-5 weeks. After nine weeks I contacted the dealer and they attempted to contact T-N-T for an update. They were unable to obtain a response from T-N-T Carports. On 7-6-2014 I sent an e-mail to T-N-T carports as directed by their web-page. I received a phone call on 7-7-2014 that the carport would be delivered on 7-10-2014. The building was not delivered and I was not contacted and told why it wasn't delivered. On 7-14-2014 I contacted T-N-T Customer service desk for the state of Virginia and was told that they would contact me on 7-16 or 7-17-2014 with a status report. It is now 6:00 PM on 7-17-2014 and I haven't been contacted by T-N-T Carports. The carports has been on order for over 10 weeks and I had a promise date of 3-5 weeks. The customer service department of T-N-T Carports has made two commitments and neither has been met. I have never received a follow up on the status of the commitment.Desired Settlement: Would request a response stating T-N-T Carports intentions to honor this order or if they are not let me know so that I can pursue other options.

Response:

Good Morning,

In regard to this complaint I understand customer has spoke with [redacted] in the scheduling department and she has made it clear with customer that she is working on trying to get order on schedule, Again she can not give them a set date until she makes sure with shop foreman and installers that they are actually going to work. We usually do not know a scheduled date normally two to three days in advance, she is working on something on it for the end of week.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Review: I ordered a carport on 11/13/13 from TNT carports. I ordered the basic, most common size (18 x 21) carport. Salesman told me 3 to 5 weeks delivery. I put the required 10% down payment on my cc. They took this payment already, it showed up on my cc statement.11 weeks later (1/29/14) and I'm still waiting on my carport to be delivered. I have left nearly everyone at their company a voice mail, some multiple. Only a couple have returned my calls. I have been in touch with a few people with their company and only receive excuses or empty promises. I have been told at least 3 times by [redacted]) that she was going to try to get it out early next week... Never happened. I planned to install it myself because of some personal options I wanted done to it and the "installers" won't do. So they would just have to deliver my carport. My most common size carport would be made and delivered from [redacted]. I'm in [redacted] (a large service area for them), less than 3 hours away but they don't seem to be able to get a delivery truck out my way for 11 weeks. As of now I'm still waiting on delivery, but have not been given a delivery date.Desired Settlement: To receive my order. The carport and all the parts and supplies that are supposed to be with it to be delivered asap. A discount for the more than double delivery time quoted would be nice.

Subject: Re: A new message is waiting from the Revdex.com of Northwest North Carolina in regards to your complaint #[redacted].

Well my carport was delivered this morning. It was supposed to be in Monday the 3rd (they told me it would be delivered then) so I took off of work to wait for it and it never showed up. Got a call around 8 PM Monday night saying that it would be delivered Tuesday morning. Now I'm disputing with them about me having to take off work because they said it would be delivered Monday but wasn't. They want to give me $50 off because of their mess up. I make more than $50 a day.

I plan to make full payment minus a day of my wages. They said they would turn it over to collections.

Very pleased with the product and customer service, they came and delivered what they promised, they did a very professional job! I will definitely recommend them 100% !!!!

Thank You Very much for such a great job!

Review: I gave them a deposit of $133.31 on 5/13/2015 for a carport and after more than 8 weeks it still hasn't been installed I contacted them and asked them to cancel it and refund my deposit I have contacted them several more times for a refund, they seem be to dodging my callsDesired Settlement: I would like my deposit refunded

Review: When I ordered this building on Sept 29 2014, I was given a 3 to 7 weeks delivery time. Now on Nov 7 2014 I am told it may be next summer before It is delivered. Supervisors are never in the office when I call and they never return my calls. I was able to speak to one person that said he would see what he could do. Never heard from him again. Their reason for delay is they need to sell 10 more buildings in my area and then install them at that time. A lot of work went into getting ready for this building, old shed torn down, gravel hauled for site to be prepped. Now I am left with nothing but equipment setting out in the elements.Desired Settlement: I just want the building I purchased to be delivered and installed before winter strikes. If this is not possible I would like my down payment returned to me so other arrangements can be made.

Response:

Good afternoon,In regards to this complaint this order was placed September 30th, this order comes out of our Pittsfield Massachusetts shop. We are extremely behind in that area since is so close to winter we are receiving a ton of order our cut off date of install in that area is October the 1st. Anything that we receive on or after this date we can not assure install depending on weather. At this time I can not assure that the carport would be installed with in the next three weeks we can get installed, we can get deposit back. Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:It says I can get my deposit back but no directions to contact [redacted] to do so. How do I receive a refund? If this was all made clear to me when I purchased from Carports.com it would have saved us all a lot of time and trouble not to mention the hard feelings.

Regards,

Review: I have had issues with the installation of a new carport from day one with this company. They called one day in advance of installation and I was told it would be three. They acted like if I didn't do it then, it would be weeks until they could do it. I rearranged work scheduling and they never showed up. I called and they said they would come the next morning. Once again, I rearranged my schedule and no one showed up. The finally showed up later in the day and did not have the last two types of anchors needed to finish my install. I have been trying for several weeks now to get them to come out and finish the job so I can pay my balance due. I keep getting told next week. When they finally showed up, they once again did not have the correct anchors. I even looked at the notes that TNT gave to the installers and it just said missing anchors. It did not instruct them to bring the asphault style anchors that I discussed with the mananger Derrick many times. I basically am getting no call backs after leaving several messages. My fear is that they are going to put me into collection or something juvenille when I really just want to pay for the install and get it over with. This has been a horrible company to deal with. Thank you for any help that you can give.Desired Settlement: I am open to them coming out to finish installing the anchors ( and actually showing up ) or giving me some sort of credit for the aggrivation and the other two missing anchors. They keep telling me they are coming and then never stick to their word.

Review: we ordered a carport on June 10th of 2014, we were told 3 weeks for delivery it is now almost Oct. and we are still waiting. My sister has been handling this for me . She has spoken to several people regarding delivery. first time was at about 8 weeks when she told them I would not be available after that friday as I was leaving for IL on Sat. they called me to set up delivery for Sat. when I reaffirmed that I would be out of town I was told I had to wait for the next truck. the salesman in DE spoke with a manager who informed them that I would be going out of town on Sept. 12 for 1 month business. He was assured it would be to my house no later than early that week. He had given them several weeks notice. My sister called to confirm delivery as it was Wednesday Sept 10th and we had not heard from company. They gave her a delivery date of thursday or Friday Sept 18th or 19th. She again told them I would be out of town for 1 month leaving on the 12th. upon return I would only be home for a brief period before heading back to IL for another job. she was asked if she could be available for the delivery. She was not as she works and lives in DE. She spoke to the general manager who promised to call her back, needless to say she is still waiting despite several voicemails to him. She also spoke with Asst. manager of customer service who stated they were aware of the issue and were doing their best to get it out the next week. It is now Wed 9/24 after several calls and disconnections the asst. manager admitted that the process all fell apart. she was going to call their sister co in PA to see if this issue could be expidited. Again she was disconnected. I am still out of town I have lost out on a job because without their shed I had no where to put my product. We had arranged to pay one of my workers who gets 18.00 an hour to sit and wait for the product to be delivered and installed . Now this is costing me more money since I am having to pay a worker to sit and wait for the product.Desired Settlement: I want my product delivered within the next week, refund me the cost of paying my worker for the day. my sister is currently trying to get in touch with the owner to make him aware of how poorly his company is being run. If they had to reimburse my sister it would have been to the tune of 49.00 per hour as she is a therapist plus gas and tolls. I will be letting people know how they handle this matter as several others were waiting for me to get my product before ordering for their businesses.
