Delivery was disappointing. Failed to show up or call at 4 pm as agreed as I took off work early. Called at 7 pm & set up 7 am delivery. Took off work again. Did not call or show up until 8:20 am. No concern or apology. Installers were very unprofessional. Called main office with concerns. Was given $62.50 discount in spite of missing 5 hours work and the headache that accompanied it. Two days before install, business had not contacted Town business office to get business permit to install. I felt they only applied for it because Town called them after I applied for permit.

Very pleased with the product and customer service, they came and delivered what they promised, they did a very professional job! I will definitely recommend them 100% !!!!

Thank You Very much for such a great job!

Review: I ordered a carport from TNT in August 2013. I agreed to a large 2-car carport with the salesman on the phone. I paid a down payment of $177.17 with my [redacted] card. The salesman asked if I was ready for the carport now. I told him yes. He said they could get to me quickly. I waited for over 3 months and in early December, I started trying to contact someone on the phone number listed on the website for the Texas district. I left three messages in the next two weeks (in Dec.). I did get a return call on December 17. I was out of the office, so when I called back, I left another message. I finally decided to go through [redacted] (used for the down payment). They temporarily reimbursed me the $177.17. I did get to speak to someone from TNT at the end of December and told him that I wanted to cancel the carport. I told him that my [redacted] card had temporarily credited my account. However, since TNT never refunded the money, [redacted] re-charged my card the $177.17. I have tried several more times to contact TNT to get my refund. Thanks,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund my down payment of $177.17.

Review: We contracted with TNT Carports in June of 2013 to deliver and construct a garage on our property. We gave them a $1,915.00 deposit using our [redacted] debit card. After receiving a rejection letter from our towns code enforcement department we asked for a refund. TNT Carports refunded our money to a closed account at a different bank. Originally when we submitted the deposit we gave them our [redacted] debit card. unfortunately this bank had a daily limit and rejected the charge. After being informed of this we promptly provided the alternative [redacted] debit card number and the transaction was completed. Back in December, when the refund was made we informed them that it was made to the incorrect account but that the account they used was closed months before. Since December 2013 we attempted to speak with them to no avail. We sent a letter providing documentation proving what we have said here and they have choose to ignore us. All we want is our deposit of $1,915.00 back.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund check for the full amount of $1,915.00.

Good afternoon,

We have had 2 carports from this company. One at our previous residence, & our most recent one for this home was purchased in 2008. We were very pleased with the entire process, from ordering, to delivery & installation on both carports. We are still happy with this quality product. Thank You T-N-T! ~ Ocala, FL

Review: I ordered a barn from TNT carports over 8 weeks ago. I was told there was a 6 week delivery time in my area. I tried for several weeks to no avail to contact someone. When I finally got a person to call me back they said to read my contract. It says they have a 4-6 week delivery it has now been over 8. With the time fram and weather conditions getting worse I have built a barn and no longer need theirs. All I want is my deposite refunded as they are in default of my agreement.Desired Settlement: Refund of my deposit

Review: I ordered this carport almost 2 months ago...They were told I needed a permit to install this therefore I needed an installation date....I contacted them several times by phone with no response...I contacted them several times by email with no response...Today they show up at my door to install with no notice...It cannot be installed without a permit...I called and talked to manager fidel and he was supposed to send me an email of the reschedule but I received nothing...again I contacted the scheduling dept by email and again got no response.. They were quick to take my deposit but noone wants to do their job and schedule this...This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with...Desired Settlement: I'd like them to do their job and schedule this and get it done...If this is impossible, I would like my deposit refunded and I will go elsewhere...Thank you

Review: I initially placed a order with Carports.com on 6/20/14. After several phone calls for weeks, all initiated by me asking when I can expect the installation of the carport, they were going to install the carport, 11 WEEKS LATER. FINALLY, I thought, I drove down 4 hours to be there when the job was done. After getting down there the day before the install, I received a phone call telling me that they were NOT going to install the carport because they were in White City, FL, St. Lucie county, 7 hours away from my address in White City, FL, Gulf county. They had my delivery address, there is no excuse. Now again several weeks of phone calls and leaving messages, again all initiated by me, still no carport. I have left many messages with "management" and others hoping to resolve this problem, or get a refund and nothing, no response at all. It has now been over 16 weeks since the order was placed. And still NOTHING. Not one single phone call. I did get an email from Jeremiah Johnson asking me if I could take some pictures of the weather blocker sides that I bought with the carport. I replied that my carport has still not been installed and that no one will call me back. He didn't even get back to me after my reply to his email. STILL NOTHING... I want a refund.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of our entire deposit. I don't believe that is too much to ask for the kind of trouble I have been through with this company.

Review: This company provides the worst service I have a ever experienced in my life. On July 14th,2014 I ordered a car port over the phone after reviewing options online and with there sales person. A 10% down payment was collected. It is now August 20th, 2014 and since the order was placed, I have made at least 10 phones to determine the delivery schedule. I did allow for the 2-4 weeks the agent advised me of. To my utter amazement, these people cannot answer the scheduling question and worse yet, I don't they have a clue who I am! They transferred me from person to person, each one asking me the same questions...what state are you? what city? etc. Not even my name, ticket number...nothing relevant! Each call lasted about 30 minutes with no sight of the finish line. When I asked for the owner - Benny T[redacted], the receptionist hung up on me. I am at my wits end!!!Desired Settlement: If they can't provide me with a delivery date or any status of my order, I want my money back.

Review: advertising and delivery issues. ordered garage on feb 7 2014, 18 x 21 garage. gave my deposit and was taken out of my account same day. web site says typically 60 days installation time. 60 days went buy not heard from anyone. called left messages never got calls back. got a hold of someone told me hopefully two weeks. never heard back in two weeks. called and was told they had no one in my area to install garage. pretty upset by now.took my money cashed it and now im told they have no one to install it in my area. Why did they take my money knowing that they could not install it in my area.as far as im concerned that stealing.cancelled my order and demanded a full refund. have not recieved that yet.Desired Settlement: want my full refund back faster than there installation requirements.

Review: We order a carport from the agent of T-N-T on July 1, 2013 at which time we were told it would take approximately 2 months for delivery which we were fine with, called and said that we were ready for delivery (Sept.2-3, 2013) they didn't respond. waited called again next week no response.Went to the agent he called and got no response (left message on answering machine). Waited agent called the next week talk to someone they said they would deliver on Sept.26, 2013 they would call before to make sure someone was there no one called. We cancelled on Sept. 27, 2013 (at the agent office) T-N-T called in October 2013 to install the carport we told them that we had cancelled the order and asked when we could expect our refund of the deposit they said the would send it to the department that handle refunds never heard anything called left message no response called again left message saying that we were going to take legal action someone call and said that they would have our refund by the first of January. Haven't seen it or heard from them. Wrote them a letter no response. Called today 01-20-14 got answering machine left a message saying we were filing a complaint with the Revdex.com of North Carolina. I just want my refund. I am sure if I owed their company money they would expect their money in a timely fashion. Thank You for your time in this matter. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my refund of $119.50. I can use the money the same as they can.Thank you[redacted]

Just wanted to let you know that T-N-T sent us a check for our refund today 02-06-14. Thank you for taking time on this matter. I feel if we hadn't contacted the Revdex.com they would have continued to ignore our attempts to get our refund. Again Thank For all you did in this matter.

Review: I have a TNT carport and in September 2014 called Lloyd J[redacted] on Ennice NC and manager of TNT carports in MT. Airy and requested they put a side door in my building. He immediately took my credit card number and said it would be soon that they did the work and was glad to get my business and the job would be quick and only take about 30 minutes to complete the job. On Dec. 5th of 2014, I call Lloyd J[redacted] and requested a date that they may come do the job ( 3 months later) he said he would check the schedule and get back with me. I could tell by the tone of his voice that he was not to excited to have to do the job. No response back from Lloyd so on dec. 9th 2014 I called him again. He said" I don't know when the job will get done. We contract work out and they will not come to Sparta NC until they get a truck load". I said " so, that could be a year from now" Lloyd said "yes". I said I wish you would have told me that in September when I wanted the job done. He said he was sorry, and that he would credit my card back....Lets just say I will not hold my breath on that one. TNT does not seem to care about customers.Desired Settlement: I want my door.... I want to do business and complete my building but TNT does not seem to care about coustomers

Review: On September 17, 2014 I ordered a metal carport and was told it would be delivered in 6 to 10 weeks. I also had to pay a deposit of 10% that day by credit card. We are now at week 17 and I have still not received my carport. The best part is, I have been called and notified on 3 separate occasions. That they would be coming on a certain day with a time span of either before lunch or after lunch for my installation. They have yet to show up, nor do they ever call and say they aren't coming. I took off work the first time to be home for the install, and my wife has stayed home the last two times. So this has impacted me financially as well. I don't understand how any business, that sells a product, and part of that product is their installation service. Ever hopes to be successful if they don't keep their appointments with there customers, and never follows up with the customer if they can't keep an appointment. Three times we have stayed at home because they notified us they were coming, and have yet to show up, and never follow up to say why. Each time I have had to call to reschedule another install date. My wife has called NUMEROUS times to try and find out when they are coming and all we get is the run around and "we will get back with you". Which they never do. Today I got a call that I had not paid my invoice for my carport. To which I happily responded. I will be happy to pay as soon as you install my carport.Desired Settlement: I just want my garage installed. I ordered it because I need a garage. I know that they have built it. I could request a refund and let them eat the cost of that build, but I WANT the GARAGE. All I ask is someone call and make an appointment for the install, and actually SHOW UP and complete the work. However if something happens that they can't make it that day (ex. weather or something) THEY CALL you and reschedule. I have never seen any business so inefficient, and inconsiderate of customers.

Response:

Good afternoon,TNT Carports, understands Mr. [redacted] placed an order for a carport they have been on schedule several times, one of which the installers called and told them they would be arriving within an hour the installers were informed by customer it was raining in Knoxville so he decided not to do the installation. On the week of January 19th the customer was called again to be put back on schedule for Monday January 26th. When contact was made with customer we advised it would be the first stop so that there would be no more issues the response was very short and indifferent which we clearly understand the frustration. Monday January 26th we made contact with installers around lunch time to make sure installation of Mr. [redacted] was done and he confirmed that it was in fact done that morning. TNT Carports did reschedule appointment and we sincerely apologize but we did do the very best to get customer back on schedule as soon as possible. Thank you,Estephanie M[redacted]

Review: We ordered a carport from TNT carports and spoke to the salesman to place the 10% down in the amount of $182.00 to get the project started, he said 4-6 weeks this would be completed..We didn't hear from anyone so at the end of Jan 2015 we called to check on the delivery of the carport and was advised that the customer service person was no longer there and things had gotten messed up..so they would have the new girl look through paperwork and get back to us, XXX called us back & said work truck broke down and set the date for 02/04/2015 but workers called on 02/03/2015 and rescheduled for weather, we were not happy but agreed since it was just cold..not wet or anything else..the guys showed up on 02/05/2015 and started installation and was moving right along, on a VERY Windy day..we asked when they got there would be they be able to work in this weather..and they assured us they would be good and started. After a bit they came to the door and said they had damaged 3 panels due to WIND and could not finish..I asked would they be able to come back next week and was advised that XXX would have to call me to reschedule..Well no phone call..then weather did get bad so we knew this could be postponed..so we waited until weather cleared and called XXX back on Wednesday 03/11/2015 after 3 50+ temp days and she said the weather was still bad in our area. I asked what? she said other people say the ground is to wet to install a carport..so they couldn't come. I explained that we had an unfinished carport and needed some idea of completion and she said she couldn't give me that. I asked for a mgr and she said that wasn't needed because she is the one in charge of scheduling..I said you still have a mgr and please have them call me. She apparently gave them my husbands cell # which she had used my # previously but not this time. This lady said to my husband that XXX had explained weather was to wet. We were told we would have to call someone else.Desired Settlement: Refund of our 182.00 or leave what is up so we can have someone else do the work and get it completed. Poles can not be removed without damage because they have been drilled into our concrete pad..

I also must add to the the negative experiences in dealing with this TnT NC company.

Sad but true ,they will rip you off, they will take your money. They will cheat you.

Nothing good or beneficial is in this carport scam.

The company called and finally scheduled delivery, 3 months after placing an order for two buildings and then didn't show or call. No answer at any number. Called in the morning, 45 minutes on hold and Rescheduled . Repeat no show or call. 2 days lost work. Showed up on 3rd scheduled day with only half of the order, one garage not two. I called, same 45 minute hold time, asked for the supervisor. Customer service denied that I reminded them on each and every contact I made that there were 2 buildings, in fact blaming me for their mistakes. And that is when I lost my cool, saying my 2 year old Grandson could do a better job. Out 3 days work, and the deposit on the missing building. I'm wiser now and hope you don't make my mistake buying from TNT CARPORTS.

Response:

Good morning,The claim by Mr. [redacted] is an invalid one. He knew all along that the legs of his carport would be 12' tall and he decided to purchase it. Only after it was installed did he realized how tall 12' really is. TNT Could make the building the exact size he needs if Mr. [redacted] would agree to pay the price of this modification but Mr. [redacted] expects this service to be provided for free and that is not reasonable. When I spoke with Mr. [redacted] and told him that the dimensions stated on the order form (as well as the ones that were used for installation), he said that maybe he and [redacted] (the sales rep) agreed to it, but "it was all Greek to him". I am sending a separate email with the receipt that was sent to Mr. [redacted] on April 16th, 2015, which clearly states the dimensions of the unit he bought. Please let me know how else I can assist in finding a prompt resolution to this problem. Sincerely, -[redacted] Sales Manager

I am rejecting this response because: I gave them the size of carport that I needed. It was 35 ft. long 18ft. wide and I told them I need 12ft of clearance for my camper to go under it. When they said the legs were 12ft. high I thought that was going to give me 12ft. clearance. they used this to sell me more carport then I needed as to make more money off me. Then they want to charge me $500 dollars more to come back and fix this carport. they still have not del. all they owe me. they are nothing but a bunch of crooks. The carport I received does not match the CERTIFIED plans they sent me .

Review: I paided a down payment on September 3 2014. I wanted a carport installed. the down payment was no refundable they said I must be home on delivery date. on 11-3-2014 the lady called and said my carport would be delivered on Thursday am 11-6-14. the lady called back at 11-6-14 and said there truck broke down. they were going to deliver it Monday 11-10-14. the problem with this I took the day off work. iam a state trooper. to compound the problem my moms in hospice. I may not be home Monday if she passes. she lives out of town in statesville. I live in Monroe. I explained this fact to delivery woman and she said I had to be home Monday 11-10-14 to receive the install. its non refundable. plus I lost time with a sick family member because of them not coming with a broke down truck and miss pay at work by taking the day off waiting for them to come in stall on the day they stated they would callDesired Settlement: cost of time spent off my job waiting on them to come today. cost of family member in hospice missing seeing them

Review: I purchase a car port building from T-N-T Carports on 9/22/14 with the understanding that the building would be delivered and installed between 2 and 8 weeks. The sales lady advised that my area is a place the company visits regularly so the wait would probably be sooner. I have left multiple messages with the company to include emails and telephone with no response. It has now been 9 weeks and even the companies supervisors do not return messages and appears as if they will not deliver my carport as contracted.Desired Settlement: I want my carport delivered and installed now or a full refund of my deposit.

Good Afternoon,In reference to [redacted], we understand customer placed order back in on September 16, 2014 and was also contacted November 12,2014 threw November 13, 2014 leaving messages to try to get out on schedule. The return phone call was never made by customer there for we could not set up an appointment with him unfortunately we had to send installers with other buildings that where scheduled. Once the truck load is sent out we need to be able to complete another truck load in the area which could be a couple of weeks out. Customer did call in and spoke to our scheduling department after the truck load was in route and stated that the number he had left with us was his work phone number and he was out of town. [redacted] sales manager also spoke to customer and has got different numbers to be able to get in touch with customer, we will rush order as much as we can and give him as much notice as possible. I am rejecting this response because:The company clearly has my email address that they have used as a secondary method of communication during this lengthy relationship. As an example they quickly sent an email expressing there desire to have me provide "testimony" regarding their performance and product along with other information.

Review: I ordered a carport through T-N-T carport and the salesman was Marty Nichols. I ordered this carport on 03/31/2015 and I was told it takes usually 2 to 6 weeks for delivery. I am told now that they have to have at least $10,000.00 in orders in the area before they can deliver my carport. I was told I had to put down a deposit of 10% which I did in good faith at the time I purchased this carport. The deposit is not refundable. I called the lady who does the scheduling for this area and she told me they only had $4,000.00 worth so far and I ask her If she could give estimte time and she told me she did not know. It could be another 3 month and I don't believe this is an acceptable way to do business.Desired Settlement: I want my carport I was promised at a reasonable time frame. Hereis the email I received from scheduling. I DON'T HAVE A FULL TRUCKLOAD IN YOUR AREA JUST YET. HOPEFULLY I WILL BEGETTING ORDERS IN YOUR AREA WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. I DID JUST CLEAROUT THE AREA A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO SO I HAVE TO BUILD MORE ORDERS TOCOMPLETE A FULL TRUCKLOAD. RIGHT NOW I ONLY HAVE 2. SO IT WILL NOT BE NEXTWEEK, BUT AS SOON AS I HAVE A SET DATE I WILL CALL OR EMAIL YOU 2 OR 3 DAYSBEFORE WE GO OUT. Respectfully,Arisdelsy QuinteroT-N-T Carports [redacted]
