Tactical Restoration

We couldn't be happier with the service we recently received from Tactical Restoration. An inch of standing water in half our home two weeks before we moved here from Wyoming is what brought Tactical into our lives (thanks to our insurance agent, Brian J[redacted], who recommended you).

After a phone call to Tanya (delightful and very helpful!), we had an informative meeting with Tyler (going over the insurance adjuster's report room by room). This provided us with a much better understanding of the process. Even though I have learned how very busy Tyler is, he didn't rush our meeting and answered every silly question we asked. Everything that Tyler said would happen did (a biggy in our book!) and it started with being assigned Gary West as our project manager. Gary was incredible! He was polite, attentive, accommodating, resourceful, and flexible. Again, he explained the process and continually checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the progress of our rebuild. As we dreamed up "extra" projects that were not included in the insurance claim, he gladly found the experts to do them. His reassurance our home would soon be beautiful again was invaluable and his OUTSTANDING communication so crucial for people who don't live in the world of construction. Gary would always introduce the workers by name and explain their particular role in our project. The workers were extremely polite and hard-working and their workmanship was more than we could have hoped for. They were very respectful of our home, turning down their music when we came home, and always cleaning up after themselves and their hard day so we could live in our half-built home. I can't remember all of their names, but they were all TOP NOTCH and represented your company most admirably. Please express our gratitude to all of them!

Our project isn't completed yet, only because I made several changes to the original work requirements. But again, Gary was more than willing to bring back whomever we needed to "make it beautiful."

We have already asked Tactical for bids for additional work to our home. We have only lived in the valley six weeks so we don't know too many people. But you can be sure we will be sharing this positive experience with anyone who will listen. Our start here was not what we had expected and all the wonderful people we met throughout our catastrophe made it so much more manageable and pleasant. We are forever grateful for your service and your kindness during our time of need.

The team from Tactical Restoration did an amazing job on our home. The workers were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The work was exceptional. They sought feedback on their work and repaired anything without hesitation that was not to my satisfaction. Amazing customer service!!! The project manager was extremely helpful in walking me through the steps of the process and assisting me in making the right choices for my home. We are so thrilled with the work and final result! Very positive experience with Tactical and their project manager, Gary. They worked with my insurance company quickly and kept me updated on progress daily. Great team, good attention to detail and I look forward to working with them again.

Tactical 'recreated' our master bathroom after having a flooding issue. Our insurance company was a nightmare focusing on all the things for which they wouldn't pay. Then Tactical and Tyler got involved. With repeated contact, follow up, and skilled persuasion Tyler and Tactical took the Adjuster's joke of an estimate of $2100 to a legitimate, agreed on/insurance covered $5600.

Tactical didn't stop there. Gary became our project manager and in addition to knowing his stuff, he was kind and personable. He kept us in the loop on what was going on, scheduled things based on our needs, and was always accepting and supportive when we were super nit-picky about the details.

There was also a noticeable difference between Tactical crews and the subcontractors. Our primary complaint would be with our plumbing subcontractor. The gentleman was very nice but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and didn't do much to clean up his mess after he installed the shower base. Gary sent a guy over to get it cleaned up. In comparison, Tactical's crews would leave the location looking better than when they arrived!

Our shower install crew did a good job but didn't have the same attention to detail that Tactical's crews did. But the minor issues (like sharp corners on the metal surrounding the glass enclosure of the shower) were quickly addressed and fixed to our desires by Tactical.

If I had one real comment on what Tactical could improve it would be closing things out. It was about a month from when the project was complete to when final paperwork was signed. Although if I'm being a bit selfish and transparent, I don't think I actually minded this. It allowed us more time to save money for the deductible, and it gave us some 'real life' time to make sure everything was functioning how we wanted. So maybe that turned out to be a plus for us.

Overall, I couldn't be more grateful for the work Tactical did from all angles of advocating for us with our insurance to making sure everything met our detail oriented standards while making us always feel valued and justified in our requests.

I would highly, highly recommend them!

I recently had Tactical Restoration perform a restoration to my master shower and closet due to a slow water leak. They are wonderful in terms of customer service. The quality of the work was outstanding and their attention to detail is something I really appreciated. They were timely, completed the work when it was scheduled to be done, and went out of their to make sure I was happy with the esthetics. In particular I would like to commend Gary my project manager, he kept in constant contact with me so I would know what to expect next, and was so kind when I kept looking for that "perfect" shade of travertine. I would recommend the company highly. Gary is outstanding.

Tactical did and amazing job with my home renovations. They were professional and always maintained constant communication. I was told when and who would be coming to my house to complete any work. If any questions were needing answers the team at Tactical were right there with the answers! The work completed was above and beyond what I expected. As the project got more and more complex, Tactical was always able to assist us with any concerns. I would recommend Tactical to anyone needing Home Renovations, and I already have!

Tactical did a great job restoring our laundry room after a fire. From painting to trim to shelving to tile work their crew was professional, friendly and meticulous. What a wonderful group of people!!! Tyler was quick to get out to my house to look at the damage to my roof and my shower. Gary is honest and very dependable.
