REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A year worth of emails, phone calls to hear we have 180 days to refund your money. This is the best you can say? Reaping and sowing is not just for Individuals, it is for Corporate as well. All of this junk because I wanted to treat my husband and 2 friends to a weekend of encouragement in the word. And this is the business ethics of this company? Unreal.

Mr [redacted] ordered lenses for his existing frame.  At the time of the order the optician advised the patient that she would not recommend using the frame due to the condition of the frame.  It had some chipping on the surface indicating its age.  The patient was also informed that in...

the event it did not hold up, that TSO would not be responsible for the frame.  He was told that we normally have the patient sign a Waiver of Liability form, but she happened to be out of the forms.During the adjustment of the frame, it came apart at a weld point.  When Mrs [redacted] came to the office to request a refund for her husband, I explained our policy regarding the use of existing frames, also gave her a copy of our form.  I also explained that there is no way of knowing if the frame has any weak or stressed areas. We attempted to resolve the situation by offering several solutions to Mr [redacted].  Depending on the manufacturer and the age of the frame, there was possibly a warranty on the frame.  We could find another suitable frame, and by using the frame insurance benefit and receiving an additional discount from us, there could possibly be just a small additional fee.  The lens would be remade at no charge in any other frame, so there is no loss to the patient.  I explained that the situation was unfortunate but that the condition of the patient's frame created the problem.  We are willing to work to resolve this, but could not refund the lens.  The lens cost could not be recouped by TSO and would be a loss. The patient was further advised that his insurance may be able to offer alternative solutions. We will be happy to assist the patient in finding a frame similar to the one he had with the least amount of out of pocket expense.Sincerely,[redacted]Office Manager
