Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it is an absolute joke that this dealership disavows any responsibility for the inoperable condition of my vehicle purchased there merely months ago due to their shoddy maintenance practicesIf indeed "everything" was done on my vehicle(they claim a point safety inspection performed prior to resale, allegedly), how do you miss the most basic item such as the incorrect transmission fluid installed which caused my transmission to totally fail, requiring replacement? They drove the vehicle for miles and didnt notice this? Impossible to believeThey claim they work toward lifetime relationships with their customersWhat a jokeThose are merely hollow wordsIn reality they are totally non-accountable and dismissiveDid nothing wrong? They also sent me on the road with essentially bald tiresThat is unconcionable and dangerousI am not going awayYou now have a lifetime nemesis, where, if they were true to their hollow advertising, I could have been a lifetime customerShame on you for your crass treatment of a year veteran of service to this country Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: [redacted] from Autobarn Nissan contacted me and resolved my complaint Of the original issues he was able to prove to me that the vehicle does indeed have the Certified Pre-Owned warranty which I was able to validate by having another dealership check the VIN in their system where they showed that the CPO warranty is active until or 100,miles In addition, I was refunded for the $from the USAA/TrueCar car buying service discount and the $for the Autoguard I was not refunded for the Theftshield as [redacted] indicated on the TrueCar paperwork that the Theftshield was identified as "anti-theft" and the price point matched up I am very satisfied with the result, it is unfortunate that it took this level of effort to have the company uphold their end of what should have been a straightforward transaction Sincerely, [redacted] ***

General Manager Miki [redacted] had the warranty cancelled when requested but the customer had moved and we had not been notified we Reissued a new check and sent to new address per customer requestthis has been resolved

Mr. [redacted] contacted us regarding our leaf we had advertised. He had just left another [redacted] dealer because he had a bad experience and was very agitated. When our salesperson showed him the vehicle, he discussed our optional certification warranty. Mr. [redacted] said it was included in the price... advertised and the salesperson explained to him that it was optional, and if he wanted it then he would have to pay for it. Mr. [redacted] asked to speak to a manager. The manger explained that we advertise our vehicles with certification available. We don't build it into the price, we give the customers the option. Mr. [redacted] said he didn't see it in the ad. Mr. [redacted] was looking on his phone and probably didn't scroll down far enough. The manager showed him the ad in the office on a computer. Mr. [redacted] then said other dealers only wanted to charge him $4-500 for the certification. The manager offered to accommodate Mr. [redacted] and reduce the certification cost to $400 in order to price match it for him. I am rejecting this response because:First, I want the Autobarn Nissan of Evanston to REFUND me in FULL the charges they put on my contract without my consent and without my approval for the following: -Contract number Complete Car Care in the amount of $USD -Autoguard Certification in the amount of $USD - Theft Shield Registration in the amount of $USD.All the above charges combines in the total amount of $must be refunded towards my Nissan Account as soon as possible!Second, I did not qualified for the $Federal Credit like they promised me instead I got back only $so they should refund me the difference of $6000! If I knew I would not qualified for the full $from Federal I WOULD NOT BUY THIS CAR, EVER! Thank you
