Mr. [redacted] contacted us regarding our leaf we had advertised. He had just left another [redacted] dealer because he had a bad experience and was very agitated. When our salesperson showed him the vehicle, he discussed our optional certification warranty. Mr. [redacted] said it was included in the price...

advertised and the salesperson explained to him that it was optional, and if he wanted it then he would have to pay for it. Mr. [redacted] asked to speak to a manager. The manger explained that we advertise our vehicles with certification available. We don't build it into the price, we give the customers the option. Mr. [redacted] said he didn't see it in the ad. Mr. [redacted] was looking on his phone and probably didn't scroll down far enough. The manager showed him the ad in the office on a computer. Mr. [redacted] then said other dealers only wanted to charge him $4-500 for the certification. According to [redacted] terms and conditions "Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing" An [redacted] ad is no different, legally, than an ad printed in the paper, direct mailed, or any other form of advertising. A dealership is required to include in the advertisement any conditions that apply, and these ads do not have any conditions listed. In their response he prints a link to some other ad, but the [redacted] ad is a stand alone ad that does not send the reader to any other material. It is still false advertising according to Illinois law and the dealership is required to sell the vehicles for the listed prices.

This business has yet to propose a resolution to this issue. The argument is not only about tax and doc fees (which the law is clear that if they are part of the price it MUST be in the advertisement) it is also the fact that they refuse to sell the vehicle for the price listed, even though the the advertisement does not list any conditions required to get the car at the listed price. The Autobarn, as a dealership, is required to follow the laws regarding automobile advertisements. As a consumer, I have the right to hold them to the advertised price.

Hello im not sure what the issue is with this customer but he don't want to pay any sales tax or doc. We did try everything but still don't seem to understand that you need to pay tax and doc

the vehicle itself has been displayed and documented with photos listing an adendum of addons our original agreement included all applicable fees customer has been very belligerant with his demands and constant threat of filing complants against...

the company with your company (Revdex.com) and states attorney. all vehicles in my inventory have addendums according to all CATA guide lines.
