This customer has already been refunded through [redacted] I don't understand why she sent a complaint to the Revdex.comShe is clearly confused None of the information in her complaint was trueShe has been refunded several weeks ago

I have finally received my order so this complaint is closed

Below is the link to our ordering information page and it is also copied below [redacted] Generally after an item is ordered it takes 1-weeks to get your item packaged and ready to be shipped ;however, because all our items are handcrafted it can take up to sixteen weeks before we ship your orderWe ship most items with FedEx however other carriers may be usedCompletion deadlines for custom orders will vary and we cannot 100% guarantee any delivery dates because of our handcrafted processGuaranteed Christmas delivery orders must be placed by October 15th (this date is not for custom orders)The customer will received a $refund as we agreed because she was unhappy on the timeframe A $refund will not be givenWe are estimating that we will have an image and tracking information by January 8th Once again this date is estimated because of the custom nature of this productHaving never made this exact house before we cannot 100% be sure how long it will take

I have already talked with this customer and he agreed to wait for the merchandiseThey already received the order and he is happy with the merchandise

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am not asking for a full refund and never have asked for that I realize there were material (though not much) and shipping costs and have accounted for that I am only asking for a partial refund In fact, before requesting any kind of refund, I brought up the possibility of corrections being made to the birdhouse, but received no reply to that No response or defense was provided regarding advertising or late delivery This was no "custom" birdhouse This all seems like a buyer beware and Revdex.com should make any potential buyers aware I realize that Revdex.com can't force a refund, but void of that, an F grade should be provided so that others are not scammed Regards, Eileen Sheridan

I do not accept the response made by the business to resolve this complaint I have copied and pasted all correspondence with the Bird House Barn below To understand the conversation you must start at the bottom and scroll upward I tried to do this as an attachment, but I am not a computer wizardOur conversation began on June 8,when I requested a quote on a custom birdhouse replica of my home I was told he could meet my Anniversary date of July 14th I was also told I would receive progress photos As we got closer to the date I checked in and also requested that the birdhouse be shipped to arrive before the 8th or after the 18th when we returned from vacation Since it was not going to be ready I accepted after the 18th Upon return from vacation, Fred did not return my first attempt at contacting him so I started to worry and learned of numerous other Revdex.com complaints, bad reviews, and even a filing with the Attorney General of West VirginiaAll of which sound identical to my situationIf he is a legitimate business and not a scam, I have a solutionHe can refund my $in full, he can finish the birdhouse and ship it to me C.O.Dand I will be happy to pay for it at that time, but this appears to be a scam and he knows how to work the system to delay until the consumer runs out of optionsIf Fred H [redacted] and The Bird House Barn want to resolve this complaint I have provided an acceptable solution above He has stalled and never provided a PHOTO of his progress as promised siting that he is too busy It only takes about a minute to snap a photo and email it If he did, this complaint would never have taken place It is my belief that the birdhouse is not being made and that this entire operation is a scam At this time, I have filed a dispute with [redacted] for a refund and will also be perusing a complaint with the Attorney General of West Virginia as others have done If Fred H [redacted] is a legitimate business man he would do everything in his power to satisfy his customers and he does not He could have taken a picture and he could still rectify this by refunding my money until the birdhouse is completeSincerely, [redacted] Correspondence Below Start at bottom and scroll upHello ***, You said you wanted the birdhouse before or after your were back from vacation (July 8th-18th)I said it would be after the 18th and you said that would be fine Like I mentioned I will get a photo to you as soon as possibleI will not be at the workshop until Friday Regardless of whether or not you proceed with [redacted] and the Revdex.com I am making a custom product for youOur website specifically states all custom orders are nonrefundable because we cannot get back the hours we spent making the item Just give me a little more time and I am sure you will be very pleased with the finished birdhouse Fred, you never said anything about a delay For this reason, I am requesting a refund We agreed on a timeframe or I never would have ordered You said you would send photos as soon as the birdhouse was "underway" I have never received photos I am proceeding with my complaint and refund thru [redacted] I will not accept the delay Sincerely, [redacted] On Jul 21, 2015, at 4:PM, Fred H [redacted] wrote: ***, Please don't be disgustedI assure you we have been working on your birdhouseSome of the complaints are real but most of them are just minor complaints about the speed of our productionBack a few years ago I switched from 4-week wait time to weeks and some of our customers just don't see that when ordering or they don't understand how long a custom item takes so they begin a complaint and even when resolved the information is still posted with the Revdex.comThat is the case with most of those complaints The yelp complaints are 100% false I will get a photo to you as soon as possibleWe are about halfway completed the birdhouse and the rest will be finished within a week or two Thanks, Fred H [redacted] - We purchased two sets of shutters and paid through PayPal on June 5thWe were told they would be done in to weeksBecause they were going to be used outdoors, we were told they would be weather proofedWe waited almost seven weeks before we contacted him to ask when we would be given a delivery tracking number He told us it would be another weeks I contacted him again almost weeks later and he said it would be another weekWhen that week was up and I had not heard from him or received my order, I googled Fred H [redacted] and the Birdhouse Barn and saw lots of negative stuff about his service/products I was able to get his phone number off the Revdex.com website where previously he would only allow me to communicate by email I called him and the women who answered was his motherI told her I was very close to filing a complaint with the Revdex.comShe said she would have him call when he got homeWithin a day I got an email picture of the shutters and he called me to tell me they were going to be shipped within a few daysHe also said he would give me a free sign for my troubleThey arrived on September 18th! The shutters were sticking together (probably from paint that had not completely dried)We cannot tell you how disappointed we were in these shutters that we waited 1/months forWe paid just under $for them ($of that was for shipping---we were told picking them up personally was not an option) We did not get what we paid forHe did nothing special to them to weather proof them that we can seeHonestly they are boards nailed together with paint slapped on them We feel so taken advantage of and ripped offI would not have paid more than $for these at a craft showThe sign he sent us looks like it came from the dollar storeHopefully this review will help someone else not make the same mistake
