I am rejecting this response because:I am not asking for a full refund and never have asked for that.  I realize there were material (though not much) and shipping costs and have accounted for that.   I am only asking for a partial refund.  In fact, before requesting any kind of refund,  I brought up the possibility of corrections being made to the birdhouse, but received no reply to that.  No response or defense was provided regarding false advertising or late delivery.  This was no "custom" birdhouse.  This all seems like a buyer beware and Revdex.com should make any potential buyers aware.  I realize that Revdex.com can't force a refund, but void of that, an F grade should be provided so that others are not scammed.

I am rejecting this response because:
In his response, Fred H[redacted] from the Birdhouse Barn States that by July 10th he would have tracking numbers for me on my two birdhouses. It is now July 15th and I have nothing. I have emailed him with a reminder of his promise, no response from him. Also, in an earlier private email to me, he promised tracking numbers or a reimbursement check by Friday July 10th. I would be satisfied with either,,,I am not satisfied with NOTHING And no communication.

This product was very well made and beautiful crafted. We make birdhouses that "look like your home". Obviously we are unable to make a 100% accurate version cf customers house by just a photo. It was well worth the price we agreed on. We can not get back our time and the labor we spent making...

We do not refund custom orders for any reason. After realizing this customer was dissatisfied I gave her the option is to make changes of the birdhouse frea of charge to make her happy, However customer turned down this offer. I am no long interesting in doing this now. The was beautiful and it did...

take a long time complete, We spent a of hours and labor on this project.

I have already talked with this customer and he agreed to wait for the merchandise. They already received the order and he is happy with the merchandise.

Generally after an item is ordered it takes 1-4 weeks to get your item packaged and ready to be shipped...

;however, because all our items are handcrafted it can take up to sixteen weeks before we ship your order. We ship most items with FedEx however other carriers may be used. Completion deadlines for custom orders will vary and we cannot 100% guarantee any delivery dates because of our handcrafted process. Guaranteed Christmas delivery orders must be placed by October 15th 2014. (this date is not for custom orders)The customer will received a $100 refund as we agreed because she was unhappy on the timeframe.  A $200 refund will not be given.
We are estimating that we will have an image and tracking information by January 8th.  Once again this date is estimated because of the custom nature of this product. Having never made this exact house before we cannot 100% be sure how long it will take.

I am rejecting this response because:
Obviously we have different standards. I stand by the fact that the product is of not of acceptable quality and also that it was not delivered in an appropriate time frame. Looks like [redacted] and I have different standards when it comes to quality and professionalism and this case is going to go no where. I expected that he would exhibit better business practices, but I was wrong. I will not display his cheaply made product in my home and will be bringing it to the recycling center at our local dump.  If I have to take the high road, I will, but I sure hope that my case will be documented on your Revdex.com site. The Birdhouse Barn is a substandard business and [redacted] doesn't seem to care about his customers. Whatever happened to satisfaction guaranteed? Shame on him!

[redacted] offers 180 days to file a complaint for an item not received case. Which we will honor 100% if the item is never received although that has never happened. This item along with every item ever ordered from The Birdhouse Barn will be received after being fully completed and shipped by...

us.  On June 27th [redacted] stated that "After July the 18th is fine!  Thank you." Suddenly we are 4 days after the 18th and it is no longer fine with this customer. The item will be completed and shipped as soon as it is ready and I as I previously mentioned to the customer:  A progress image will be sent on Friday.Thank you!

That is totally up to you but until you confirm that you are going to do this through your card issuer the total owed right now is $87.99. Do you think it is fair that because you did not read our website that we get stuck with a $20 fee for something that was your fault?As a small business this type of issue is a real problem for us.  Put yourself in this position... If you went to a made to order restaurant and the sign said "4 Hamburgers for $20" allow 30 minutes for it to be prepared. You place the order but after only 15 minutes  you decide you no longer want to wait so you ask for a refund of $20 and all the half cooked food goes to waste. I don't think the restaurant would offer you a refund and neither are we. The birdhouse will be fully completed inside the 16 week delivery timeline we gave you and when completed it will be shipped to your address. If the package is refused and shipped back to us we will add the shipping fee to the amount you owe.Thank you!

This order was delivered to the confirmed shipping address from [redacted]. The tracking number is below.

This customer has already been refunded through [redacted].  I don't understand why she sent a complaint to the Revdex.com. She is clearly confused.  None of the information in her complaint was true.
