Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I received a phone call about mins after filing this original complaintThe phone call went as follows; The caller (*** ***) said she was from the escalation department from the SAT collegeboard, calling in reference to the complaint I filedShe informed me of the three options I had (the three listed in their response) in regards to this matterI told her I was not happy with their business practices and that some sort of compensation needed to be arrangedAccording to the *** the compensation is the option to retake the test, or a refund (drop the tests, because for some reason I may have decided that my education is no longer a priority)The *** had no idea what happened during the test (the reason for filing the complaint) so when I told her what happened she instantly knew that would cause a problem and be reason for a retake (the decision for a retake took them weeks to conclude)Then she told me that even if they decided to release my scores to me, that they could not because my original tests have not been scored (once the complaint is filed they do not score them)I told the *** that during my phone calls with their customer service (which was many calls, and I even verified with more than one person of this) I was told that I could file an "appeal" to possibly get my scores before retaking the testsHowever this *** from the escalation department told me that the customer service should have never told me that I could file an appeal for my scores and that they will be taken care ofI verified, with the supervisor, that I could in fact file this appeal and that I would receive a decision before my test, and I was told yes. The problem is now not to get my score as I have already taken the retakeThe problem is now the quality of this organization and how they do not care for the customers whom they provide service toThis organization has no regard for helping any one as there is no way to contact the escalation departmentThe customer service line (out of the many times I called, at least times) has individuals that you must decipher their English before you can even speak, only twice did I speak with people to which I could understand 100% (and no, I did not misinterpret what all the other agents and managers said)On the day of the retake, which was scheduled for ALL persons that took this test originally, only TWO people showed up, me and another kidNot exactly the best turn out for the "many complaints received."For this to resolved, apologies are not sufficient (I don't want people fired for telling customers wrong information)This organization is one that is used worldwide to determine what colleges people can attend, and yet even their managers lack the skills attend collegeIf my kids must use their service, I will not be happyAs for this current situation, I have been told that their is nothing more they can doI just don't buy thatI want BOTH my tests grades (both means both sets, so four tests) as though I had taken them at different times so I can have a choice of scoresIf this request is not possible, then a refund (not a refund that cancels my scores, as my education is still a priority and the tests MUST be completed before the end of this year, so I can not take them later)So, either all test scores, or a refund plus my retake scores

Good Afternoon,

My daughter and I have tried times to contact the College Board times she made contact with a representative with the intention they would get back to hertimes they didntI emailed them time story be informed that they are working on it Nothingschools are waiting for scores, and they couldn't give a crap This is the worst run company and have the worse than customer service department ever

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I have received the College Board's response to my request to expedite my AP scores in order to meet UC Berkeley's deadlines for registration for courses that require AP pass scores as a prerequisite I appreciate the exhaustive research and phone calls they made to UC BERKELEY on my behalf, however the admissions requirements are not going to change because someone at College Board sent my scores to the wrong school If my AP scores are not received prior to Monday July ** I will not be able to enroll in a course that has an AP requirementThe reason we have spent thousands of dollars on AP testing and prep was so that our students could place out of undergrad courses
It is my expectation that my daughter's scores arrive by the *** so that it does not prevent her from enrolling in the course with an AP requirement
Furthermore, I am very disturbed by the fact that College Board had such a cavalier attitude when we approached them with the dilemmaThen I realized that they had no accountability or competition Our students have no choice To be told yes we made a mistake, no we can't overnight or expedite this we don't do that is unacceptable We are not talking about the wrong dinner order this is a late score that may push back a graduation later on down the road which the very reason with pushed money into their organization to begin with-
***PLEASE READ EMAIL RECEIVED YESTERDAY FROM UNDERGRAD ADMISSIONS OFFICE***
Freshmanadmit Departmental (sent by ***)Jul ** (day ago)to meHi ***,Thank you for your email. Until we receive and upload your AP exam score, it is not recorded in the system and may mean that you are not able to enroll in a particular class during CalSO or TeleBEARS Phase I
It may help you to keep in mind that you will have TeleBEARS Phase II and an adjustment period (in August for fall admits and January for spring admits) to enroll in that class after the requirement been satisfied. We apologize if this timing means you are not able to get the ideal schedule for your first semester at Berkeley because a class is full by the time you are able to enrollWe hope you understand that the delay is beyond our control and we will update your transcript as soon as your official scores have been received

College Board Customer Service spoke with this parent on January ** to provide the batch numbersThe parent was very nice and relieved with
the information providedI confirmed that we fulfilled the orders on our part and for her to follwith the schoolsWe did discuss the possibility of name misspellings creating a mismatch of scores to application
In a follcall with the parent on January **, the parent believes the mismatching information was the cause for the missing scores at *** *** and the scores are now on her fileShe is still waiting on a callback from Emerson, but has provided all information to themShe is aware that if the university is unable to resolve the issue she may give me a callback for additional assistanceAt this time her case is resolved as all score reports have fulfilled, score reporting information provided, and mismatching information appearing to be the cause of delayed scores

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
There was no resolution by this "customer service" personWhen I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I could, however I would get the same responseThis college board has monopolized the sat testing and makes it impossible to go to a competitorYou can see the weak response I received, that it was my responsibility to check their website

At this time, I have been contacted directly by The College Board regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved
because:
they failed to provide the purchased productThey refunded the purchase price; however, it was not about the cost of the product (SAT answer service) it was about giving my son a chance to get a better SAT score, which could be worth thousands of dollars in scholarship money

a new correct order was placed and charges were waived. *** *** should receive his scores shortly

Good Afternoon,I have copied the response from *** *** *** ***, *** ***, who has been managing this issue.Scores were delayed due to anerror on the customer’s end when the test-taker entered that he took a SpanishSubject Test rather than a
Spanish with Listening Subject TestThis requiresmanual intervention to correct, which takes additional time to processI wasable to determine this when I spoke to the customer on December * and shehas been informed of the reason for the delay I have searched our customerservice e-mail system using the e-mail addresses that we have for this customerand can find no messages relating to the November SAT Subject Test The customer requested refundsfor tutoring and all fees paid for SAT registrations and score sends due to thedelay in release of the November scoresShe was informed that the CollegeBoard would not be issuing compensation and informed that the delay was due totest-taker errorNo other refunds were discussed. An offer was made to makeoutreach to the schools selected to receive the November scores to advise thatthe delayed scores were available and to make consideration for the applicantdue to the delay being beyond his controlAt no point was it mentioned thatthese were to state that the College Board had made an error that caused thedelayShe asked for scores and letters to be sent to six schools in additionto the two schools that were already listed as recipients on the November registrationand called out that *** *** University was the recipient of primaryconcernA *** *** representative confirmed that the new scores wouldbe added to the application file for admissions considerationA new order wasplaced for the additional six colleges and letters were sent to all eightrequested schools. The delayed score letter isconsidered an internal document for use in communication between the CollegeBoard and schoolsThese letters are not disclosed to students or parentsAne-mail has been sent to *** *** to confirm that the delayed score lettershave been sent to her requested collegesOf the eight schools that were sentthe November Subject Test scores (in addition to previously reported SATscores) only two require SAT Subject Tests for admissions purposes
