The Experience LLC offeres a day cancelation policy, on magazine orders, if one changes their mind toward an order that was purchasedIn reality, it is impossible to cancel this order because the PO Box # continually changes, so overnight mail cannot reach the destinationThe email and phone # is not displayed on the receipt, so when researched one discovers that there is not a legitimate resource available to contact the companyThis is a scam, intended to exploit and manipulate, not only the customer, but the sales representative through deception, using charity as a causeFederal offense due to "over the borders" sales exploitation
This business has sales people who lie about just about anything to sell books and magazinesThe sales person who came to our door told us that she lived in our neighborhood which was definitely a lie that we verified with our neighborhood association directorShe told us a long story about her family and how she was trying to fund a trip to London which also was likely untrueShe even told us that our purchase was tax deductible which was obviously untrue after we checked the company websiteWe read online that others had experienced similar fabrications and we can only conclude that this company must be training their sales people to lie to customersWe cancelled our order immediately and therefore are not out any money; however, we find their business practices to be completely unethical and offensive
Dear Sir or Madam: I am writing in regards to the above mentioned complaint It appears the item that Mr*** had purchased is currently on backorder Due to
the backorder and the time that has lapsed since Mr*** placed his order, we feel that the best resolution to this matter would be to provide Mr*** with a full refund of his order A refund check in the amount of $ has been issued for this purpose and is being sent directly to Mr*** If any further information is needed please feel free to contact me Sincerely, *** ***
I had the exact same girl (and a friend) came to my house telling me she lived in the adjoining neighborhood Her dad was a retired captain with military and she was trying to get to Seattle for her engineering program proclaiming herself and her friend to be working as a team to help the other members get money for the trip too She gave me her address in the neighborhood-which I went to and was not her home of course- (She must have preplanned) and the names of her mom and dad She called herself *** *** and mom *** and Dad *** (The partner in crime never spoke-I guess in training) Anyway...on and on and was quite convincing She is the exact girl described in the other review Petite, hair in bun with a long braid that hung in front of her face...wore short shorts and kept her pad/wallet thing in back Quite the con artist and was quite a visitor Well right after they left I googled the company...then immediately called the bank and stopped payment on checks I would be more than happy to help a legit college student...but this is a scam and nothing that comes out their mouths is true Too bad this girl can not apply her speaking skills to something legal The phone number with this company is not legit and the website *** is a joke
We performed a service visit to the home of *** *** *** on9/Originally, it was reported that the water
softener was causing build
up on their faucets and as a result they had to replace faucets in the home. When our tech arrived, he tested all of their water, it showed
grains hard
which means that the water softener is working. We understand that the *** residence is not satisfied with thisanswer, which is why we offered to send our Service Manager out to the home to do a further investigationAt this time, we would be more than happy to send their water off to a third party water testing lab to see what maybe causing their issueWe would like to bring closure to this issue and
get the problem resolved, but we do not believe that the water softener is the root cause
Saleman stated he was from neighborhood and even gave street name Working to go to England at local college Gave check, researched No trip at college, does not live in neighborhood, all lies Scam Stopped payment on check Sent back form Should be investigated

This cute young clean-cut young lady and a young man came to my door selling books for a children's hospital, her dad (she said) was a marine and wanted her to earn her money for a trip to Europe to study acting They said they attended school in Jacksonville and were home on Christmas break
I knew it was a rip-off, but for some reason I believed them The young lady is an excellent con-artist She said her name was Ashley We had a long conversation on the door step and I gave them two ckecks
When I looked them up online, I realized (from customer reviews) it was a scamI stopped payment on my checks and returned the receipt to them (On the back of the reciept, you can cancel the transaction within days)
I too appear to be a victim of "Experience Sales" in Denver, Colorado. I was solicited by Sheldon of Experience Sales in August of 2016. I gave check for $65 for magazine subscription, (didn't really want the subscription) as I was trying to help the gentleman achieve his goal of becoming a broadcasting journalist intern. I have sent two emails to "ExperienceSales.com" with receipt # D**SSN**, asking where my subscription is, being that it is now the end of October. No response from this "company" which appears to now be a SCAM. This experience will obviously jade my opinion towards future "door-to-door" solicitors, regardless of what "official" credentials and marketing materials are presented. Buyer beware!
Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The link provided by the company looks like the book was delivered on April 28; however, it did not get delivered to my address as we have not received anything from this company. My address is [redacted] His response showed my address as [redacted] so I do not know where this book ended up. Furthermore, the saleswoman told me this was a collection of [redacted] books and showed me a picture of the books. I would NEVER pay $61 for 1 book! I want my money returned now.Regards,

A young girl came to many of our doors in our neighborhood selling books and magazines for Children’s Hospital. She said she was earning her way through an engineering program at [redacted] and her father was making her sell these books for a goal to pay for the program. She was very convincing and a polished talker. She called herself [redacted] or [redacted]. [redacted] is listed as the Principal under the 'business management category on the Revdex.com website.
She told us that she lived in the area, but when we pressed her, she could not give us an address or specifically where on that street she lived. That should have been the first indication that it was a scam, but she was already smoothly talking her way to the next piece of her spiel. She will show you the checks from other neighbors and knows a lot about them. She uses this information in her conversations to gain your trust.
Most of the neighbors are in agreement that there was something ‘odd’ (immaturity, awkwardness, spoke quickly, and had an answer to everything asked of her, changed her story slightly when questioned), but the red flag was not strong enough to be raised completely. The website www.[redacted].com looked legit, but there was that nagging feeling still.
“[redacted]” or "[redacted]" is between 5’4” and 5’5”. Light brown hair with blonde chunks (it was in a bun). She had a long, thin braid hanging near the front of her face. Her glasses were small, wire frames. She was thin, wore shorts and a t-shirt. Said her father was some sort of captain in the military. The wallet was stuck in the back of her shorts and she had some type of large android phone that rang a lot. She said it was her father checking in on her, but she never answered it. She requested cash or a check to pay for the books. If a check was written, it was imperative (and she was persistent) to put “gift to Children’s Hospital” in the memo area, not “donation”. The check was to be made out to “The Experience”. She had a three-part form that you signed and dated then she gave you the bottom carbon copy.
The following websites will show you this is a scam.
http://www.[redacted] http://www.[redacted] http://[redacted] Also, they not only scam the folks buying their "products" but also the young people working door-to-door as well.
As the other two reviews below show --- Don't fall for this group... ever!
