The technician just makes the report and dose not promise anything our warranty is our warranty so our story has never change you can see what the warranty covers by the warranty information I sent. As for the seat cushion they will soften with usage and if this is normal wear it would not be covered.  So as a consumer it is there responsibility to read there warranty, at this time we are standing behind our product and our warranty as outlined in our warranty. Thank YouThe RoomStore

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The RoomStore is replacing the handle again. This will make the 3rd time this handle has been replaced so I'm not holding out much hope. 

The last handle that was replace lasted two weeks. I guess I will wait to see how long this handle will last. The lady on the line from the RoomStore said this time the part was from "[redacted]" which leads me to believe the other replacement parts were not "[redacted]" replacement parts but I can't be sure. 

Honestly, I just want my sofa to be fix/replaced and to stop having to call these people to have this sofa fixed.

RoomStore had agreed to perform this work and then they didnt show up. I feel that they own this repair.

The consumer purchased in April of 2012 and the items were under warranty for 3 years the consumer called in with a complaint after the 3 years and was told the items were not covered. At the time of purchase the roomstore offered a 3 year warranty for manufactures defects and the consumer was hand documents that state this. The item is leather but bonded leather and it was delivered with the manufactures information attached to it.

The merchandise was picked up on April 15th 2015 and our policy for refunds is 10 to 14 business days. (See below) The consumer was not happy with that answer so as a courtesy the RoomStore refunded all her money she was due on April 15th 2015...

the same day. If there is any further question please have customer contact our corporate office.The RoomStoreREFUNDS:In the event a refund is authorized, a RoomStore check will be issued if you paid by cash or check. If you paid by using a Bank Card the refund will be issued as a Bank Card credit. Normal time for refund processing is 10 to 14 banking days. All refunds are issued by the Corporate Offices; stores cannot give refunds.

The RoomStore would like to apologize for any inconvenience this had caused our customer. As we are at the mercy of the manufacture and cannot control when they will ship us the item. Every time we call they give us a projection date and that date keeps changing and this is what we go by. We...

The consumer called in may 31 2014 to complain about there leather cracking on the recliner. They were just past there 3 year warranty which would have covered this. They did purchases an extended warranty (a copy was given to the consumer) which covers what is listed on the warranty and the leather...

cracking are not listed. I will enclose a copy of the warranty which clearly shows what is covered. The consumer was notified about the outcome of the report and if the consumer would like to purchase the parts we can order for them.

The RoomStore will refund full if all items are returned within five days not only was this not returned in five days but the consumer states (I threw it away and was unable to return it.) at this point there is nothing we can do and if [redacted] did promise t o refund the item he would have had to have the item back.Thank YouThe RoomStore

The consumer made a payment of 586.74 on February 21 2016, The item was not in stock so therefore was not delivered at this time we will be refunding the 586.74 and any other refunds will have to be field with the bankruptcy court.

difficult to schedule with and this is why we exchange the item as a courtesy.  The consumer was given a warranty certificate #[redacted] which explains what is covered and what is covered and rips and tears are not, I will attach a copy of this document. Item were delivered may 21st 2014 and on June 8th we sent a service out and the technician report stats it had a new faint smell as all new furniture did. August 6th we sent another technician out who report came back the same. At this point there are no manufactures defects and the consumer wanted...

consumer called in with a complaint a service technician was sent out and a report was return to the RoomStore. Upon review of the report the seat cores and back cushion stuffing are cover under the 5 year warranty. How ever the vinyls on the arms are not covered under the 5 year extended warranty. I have enclosed a copy of the warranty and you can clearly see what is covered. This was explained to the consumer that what is listed under the heading *plan covers upholstered fabric and leather furniture* is what is covered. The core will be ordered and when they are received we will contact the customer and install.

The Room Store has failed as a company and taken advantage of many consumers (evidence by the amount of complaints filed against the company). The product is defective and was further damaged by the 1st technician the Room Store sent to my home. They have since sent out 3 more repair technicians and the same problem exists. They have failed to honor the warranty and to conduct business ethically. They have scheduled out another technician on May 6th, even after being told by their own employees that the product is not repairable. Each time a technician is sent out is cost me time away from work because I have to sit at home when they only give a 4-6 hour window as to when the repair person will be at the residence.

The consumer had the items delivered in March of 2013 and called in for a service in January of 2014 and the RoomStore sent out a service technician. The out come of the service was to order the chaise core and that the ottoman was not a manufactures defect. I have...

enclosed pictures as you can see this was not properly maintained. When the chaise core arrives we will call the consumer to install.

While the documentation that the Room Store presents in their reply was NOT GIVEN to us at the time of purchase.  I've attached images of what [redacted] gave to us at the time of purchase. We have it all bundled in a file with everything he gave to us that day. So, with that said I WANT MY $300 BACK!!!  If not, I will go to the [redacted] office and/or contact [redacted]. It's not our fault that our sales person failed to provide us all of the documentation at the time of purchase!!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The sales rep stated that I was getting the couch, the bed, and the whole queen set for $6800.00's..It would appear on your store cameras that I was walking on the sale if i didn't get approved for the amount needed to cover the costs.  Since my credit score is 744 I shouldn't have a problem getting approved as I told [redacted].  [redacted] came back and stated that he got me approved for $2,000.00 .  I told him that wouldn't work, I was about to leave the store and [redacted] came back and said I got you approved for the entire amount.  IF your salesman is lying to people as he did to me then I think perhaps he should have to cover the expense of getting me what I ordered since he's making commision on lying to me.  at no point did anyone including [redacted] indicate or correct me as I requested the delivery date of my couch???  even after several phone calls where made.
